Ida Huddleston and her family own roughly 1,200 acres of farmland outside Maysville.

In April, an unnamed Fortune 100 AI company approached them with an offer to purchase about half the property.

Huddleston’s daughter, Delsia Bare, made clear the family has no intention of selling, regardless of the price.

“Stay and hold and feed a nation,” Bare told Local 12 News.

“My grandfather and great-grandfather and a whole bunch of family have all lived here for years, paid taxes on it, fed a nation off of it,” she said.

“Even raised wheat through the Depression and kept bread lines up in the United States of America when people didn’t have anything else.”

“I say they’re a liar, and the truth isn’t in them, that’s what I say. It’s a scam.”

“That’s the exact same thing for me right here.

“None of my family is in favor of euthanasia.

A disturbing and unexplained humming noise is being reported across multiple U.S. states, rattling homes, disrupting sleep, and fueling concerns that the rapid expansion of massive data centers may be quietly transforming entire communities.

The latest wave of complaints is coming out of Vineland, New Jersey, where residents say the noise began shortly after construction started on a sprawling multi-million-square-foot data center.

Residents Sound the Alarm

Locals say the constant low-frequency hum is impossible to ignore and impossible to escape.

“That is not construction, and that monstrosity is only partially built,” Scott Montgomery told ABC 6.

“It is infringing on our peace of mind and our tranquility.”

“It’s not even fully built yet. That’s the scary part,” Montgomery added.

“If it sounds like this now, what’s it going to be like when everything’s up and running?”

Residents describe the noise as a deep, mechanical drone, like an engine idling nonstop.

One local wrote on social media:

“I live about two miles away, and it’s definitely there.

“Sounds like a huge engine idling all the time.”

Montgomery, who lives just half a mile from the site, said:

“It keeps you up at night, as you can hear it coming through the house.”

Theresa Lewis echoed the concern, saying the sound penetrates even sealed homes.

“It’s like someone is using some type of machinery around my house,” Lewis told ABC 6.

Officials Acknowledge Complaints, but No Clear Answers

The Cumberland County Department of Health confirmed it is aware of the situation but stopped short of identifying a cause.

“If our inspectors find that noise levels are higher than those allowed under the code, we follow the enforcement guidelines under which a penalty may be issued if compliance is not obtained within a certain timeframe,” the agency said.

The department also admitted its authority is limited, noting it cannot shut down facilities even if violations are found.

Meanwhile, the company behind the project insists everything is within legal limits.

“Our site is operating in full compliance with Vineland City noise ordinance limits,” the developer said, adding it will continue implementing sound reduction measures.

Residents aren’t buying it.

Data Centers Under Scrutiny

Experts acknowledge that large-scale data centers can generate constant, low-frequency noise due to industrial cooling systems and electrical infrastructure running around the clock.

These facilities rely on massive fans and chillers to prevent overheating, producing sound levels between 55 and 85 decibels.

The sound is often described as a persistent, low-pitched roar that can travel long distances.

In other words, it’s the kind of noise that doesn’t just annoy, it wears people down.

A Nationwide Pattern Emerges

Vineland isn’t alone.

Residents in Virginia, home to hundreds of data centers, have reported similar disturbances, describing deep vibrations and an ever-present hum tied to nearby facilities.

“These data centers are loud, noisy beasts, and they are being built too close to residential areas,” said Roger Yackel.

“That’s not something that we should have to live with.”

In West Haven, Connecticut, complaints date back years.

Residents have described a relentless humming that has triggered stress, anxiety, and physical discomfort.

“For years, our community has been plagued by a constant or intermittent humming noise and low-frequency vibrations,” a local petition states.

“This disturbing phenomenon occurs at all hours, disrupting our ability to sleep, concentrate, and enjoy life to its fullest.”

More than 140 residents signed a petition demanding answers, prompting officials to approve funding for an independent acoustic investigation.

Even now, authorities have yet to confirm the source.

“Far Worse Than Expected”

Some residents have taken matters into their own hands.

John Lyver, a retired NASA analyst, has been tracking noise levels near his home and says the results are alarming.

“I’m finding that the noise is far worse than anybody ever figured it was going to be,” he said.

Deepening Issue

An explosive new investigative report is raising serious questions about what happened behind the scenes following Jeffrey Epstein’s death, revealing that large volumes of documents were shredded inside a federal jail, before the FBI could examine them, just days after he was supposedly found dead.

The revelations come from a report by the Miami Herald, which analyzed thousands of pages of records tied to the Epstein case.

Corrections Officer Sounded Alarm to FBI

According to the report, an inmate identified as Steven Lopez was ordered to transport multiple bags, described as “bales,” of shredded documents to a dumpster at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan on August 15 and August 16, 2019.

“They are shredding everything back there,” Lopez told corrections officer Michael Kearins.

Kearins said the volume of shredded material was unlike anything he had seen.

He contacted the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center on August 16 to report the activity, stating he had “never seen this amount of bags of shredded documents coming out to be put in the dumpster at the rear gate of MCC.”

In a follow-up memo dated August 19, Kearins warned investigators directly.

“I believe that this conduct may be inappropriate for an investigative team to be shredding paperwork related to the investigation, and you may want to investigate why BOP employees are destroying records,” he wrote.

FBI Alert Came Too Late

The report details how federal agents attempted to respond after the tip.

“Can we take a look at the Dumpster ASAP to see if the paper is still there? Possible they didn’t dump it yet,” an agent wrote in response.

But by the time action was taken, the contents had already been removed.

The trash was picked up that same morning.

Missing Records Raise Further Questions

The timing of the shredding coincided with federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York requesting key jail records related to Epstein’s detention.

Those records later vanished.

“We learned today that all institutional count slips for dates prior to August 10, 2019, which we requested on August 12, 2019, are apparently ‘missing,’” prosecutors stated.

The destruction of documents occurred while a Federal Bureau of Prisons “After Action Review” team was already on-site examining the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death.

Multiple Investigations Quietly Closed

Authorities initially opened multiple probes into the situation, including potential obstruction of justice tied to the document destruction.

Those included investigations by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York into Epstein’s death, possible misconduct by corrections staff, and a separate corruption probe.

Despite the scope, the cases were ultimately shifted to the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General, which does not have prosecutorial authority.

An Inspector General investigation interviewed Lopez and others, but the matter was closed without further apparent action.

Official Narrative Still Disputed

Epstein, who was facing sex trafficking charges, was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019.

His death was ruled a suicide by hanging by New York City Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson.

However, forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden has challenged that conclusion.

Baden, the former Chief Medical Examiner of New York City and a veteran of over 20,000 autopsies, has argued the injuries were more consistent with homicide than suicide, citing damage to the neck and other physical findings.

According to Baden, the neck injuries and ruptured capillaries in the eyes are proof of strangulation rather than suicide by hanging.

A disturbing case out of Canada is fueling renewed alarm over the country’s expanding euthanasia regime after an 84-year-old woman says doctors pushed “assisted suicide” onto her before she had even been examined.

The woman, identified as Miriam, said the doctor tried to pressure her into being euthanized before attempting to determine what was wrong with her.

“I am 84 years old, and a year ago, an amazing thing happened,” Miriam said.

“When I got out of bed one morning, I was suddenly in excruciating pain, so much so that my daughter came running in from another room.”

“Off I went to the Vancouver General Hospital, and I was approached by a young lady doctor.

“The very first words out of her mouth [were]: ‘We would like to offer you MAID.’

“I was taken aback—that was the last thing on my mind!

“I just wanted to find out why I was in pain!

“I did not want to die!”

Miriam emphasized that she had not requested euthanasia, had not discussed it, and had not even received a diagnosis at the time it was offered.

Despite the early push toward assisted death, Miriam ultimately recovered.

“I was a month in hospital, came home, recuperated nicely enough that I could take some trips,” she said.

“Off I went last year to Cuba – before the problems today in Cuba – and then, this just recently, I have been to Mexico and Guatemala.

“My recovery has been amazing, and there was no need for MAiD to even be suggested.”
