Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has launched a sweeping investigation into more than 120 foreign biological laboratories tied to U.S. taxpayer funding, reigniting explosive questions surrounding gain-of-function research, secretive overseas biolab programs, and what critics say was a years-long cover-up by the Biden administration and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The investigation spans facilities across more than 30 countries, including over 40 labs in Ukraine, according to officials within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

Gabbard said the administration is now moving aggressively to uncover exactly what research has been conducted inside the labs, what pathogens are being stored, and how deeply U.S. agencies were involved.

Gabbard Targets Dangerous Gain-of-Function Research

Speaking to the New York Post, Gabbard said the review aims to expose and halt dangerous gain-of-function experimentation that many Americans believe played a role in the COVID-19 catastrophe.

“We are going to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what ‘research’ is being conducted to end dangerous gain-of-function research that threatens the health and well-being of the American people and the world,” Gabbard said.

“The COVID-19 pandemic revealed the catastrophic global impact research on dangerous pathogens in biolabs can have,” she continued.

“Yet despite these obvious dangers, politicians, so-called health professionals, like Dr. Fauci, and entities within the Biden administration’s national security team lied to the American people about the existence of these US-funded and supported biolabs and threatened those who attempted to expose the truth.”

The renewed scrutiny comes after former National Institutes of Health official Lawrence Tabak admitted before Congress in 2024 that U.S. taxpayer dollars funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

That research reportedly increased viral infectivity by as much as 10,000 times.

Ukraine Biolabs Back Under the Spotlight

The investigation is also reviving intense debate surrounding U.S.-funded biological laboratories in Ukraine.

For years, corporate media outlets and Biden administration officials dismissed concerns about the facilities as “disinformation,” despite repeated acknowledgments from government officials that biological research programs existed in the country.

In 2022, then-Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland admitted during Senate testimony that Ukraine possessed “biological research facilities” and expressed concern that Russian forces could seize control of materials housed there.

A newly resurfaced FBI document is once again fueling speculation about one of the federal government’s most bizarre UFO mysteries, claims that tiny humanoid beings were recovered from crashed flying saucers in New Mexico.

The decades-old memo, now circulating widely online after renewed public interest in government UFO disclosures, was originally written on March 22, 1950, by Guy Hottel, then the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Washington field office.

Addressed directly to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, the memo summarized information from an informant who claimed an Air Force investigator had recovered three “so-called flying saucers” in New Mexico.

The memo was released as part of the Trump administration’s UFO Files release on Friday.

The World Bank is sounding the alarm over what it now describes as the “largest energy supply shock on record” as the expanding Iran conflict sends oil markets into chaos, crushes global demand, and threatens to unleash a new wave of inflation and food insecurity across the world.

In a stark report published this week, the World Bank warns that the disruption spreading through global energy markets is no longer a short-term spike but a systemic shock rippling across entire economies.

“Oil demand destruction is emerging,” the organization states bluntly.

Iran Conflict Sends Oil Markets Into Turmoil

The crisis centers around the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints.

Roughly 20% of all global oil and natural gas exports normally pass through the narrow corridor.

As tensions escalated during the Iran war, crude oil prices exploded by approximately 65% within the first month alone.

It marks a roughly $46-per-barrel surge.

The World Bank describes the spike as the largest monthly increase ever recorded.

Now the consequences are spreading rapidly through the global economy.

According to the report, worldwide oil demand already dropped by 0.8 million barrels per day year-over-year in March and is projected to collapse by another 1.5 million barrels per day during the second quarter of 2026.

At the same time, global oil production is expected to plunge by nearly 7 million barrels per day, a 6.6% annual decline that marks the steepest quarterly contraction since the pandemic-era economic shutdowns.

The World Bank warns that oil markets are now heading toward a massive supply deficit of 3.7 million barrels per day.

Global Inflation Crisis Deepens

Even if tensions temporarily cool, the World Bank warns that energy markets are unlikely to stabilize anytime soon.

“Even if disruptions ease later this year, oil markets are expected to stay tight in the near future amid ongoing geopolitical risks, uncertain regional flows, and dislocation of shipping assets,” the report states.

The organization now expects crude oil prices to average roughly $86 per barrel this year.

But if the conflict intensifies or shipping disruptions worsen, prices could surge to between $95 and $115 per barrel, levels that would likely hammer consumers, businesses, and food supply chains worldwide.

The inflationary fallout is already beginning to spread far beyond gasoline prices.

Food Prices and Fertilizer Costs Exploding

The World Bank warns that fertilizer prices are projected to jump another 30% this year, driven largely by a staggering 60% spike in urea costs.

That increase threatens to trigger severe downstream consequences for global food production.

“If greater disruptions drive fertilizer and other input costs even higher, knock-on impacts on food prices could push tens of millions more people into acute food insecurity globally,” the report warns.

The organization also sharply downgraded global growth expectations.

Its forecast for emerging and developing economies was cut from 4.0% to 3.6%, while inflation projections surged from 4.1% to 5.1%.

A fresh investigation has revealed that a single attending physician’s National Provider Identifier was linked to 17 separate hospice operations across the region.

Those entities collectively filed more than 3,000 Medicare claims for just 900 patients, billing taxpayers roughly $16 million.

Hospice care expert Ira Byock underscored how glaring the warning signs were.

“Anything over 100 patients at a given time that you have responsibility for as a hospice physician should start to raise red flags,” Byock said.
