A Canadian euthanasia activist has been convicted on multiple charges after he was found to have convinced over 150 mentally ill people worldwide to die by “assisted suicide” using lethal doses of poison that he sold to them.

Kenneth Law, 60, pleaded guilty to persuading 14 vulnerable young Canadians to use his toxic substances to kill themselves.

Law was operating a global online business that sold a deadly chemical linked to an estimated 150 deaths worldwide.

“I’m going to die soon.”

The new reports from the National Post and The Globe and Mail reveal alarming cases where patients are railroaded into assisted death, often with horrifying consequences.

The National Post details one example of a physician conducting a patient assessment outside a Tim Hortons fast-food restaurant.

The doctor then personally transported the patient to an industrial facility where he was euthanized on the same day.

The Globe and Mail report exposes cases where patients were given euthanasia injections but “resumed breathing after being declared dead” while still being paralyzed by the drugs.

The allegations come as euthanasia continues to expand across Canada and as growing numbers of critics warn that safeguards intended to protect vulnerable patients may be failing.

According to the reports, Ontario physician Dr. James MacLean was investigated and charged following a series of complaints about his euthanasia methods.

MacLean agreed to at least six months of mandatory supervision following investigations by medical regulators into multiple MAiD-related complaints.

He is allowed to continue practicing, however.

Tim Hortons Assessment Sparks Outrage

One of the most controversial complaints involved a patient identified as Mr. Dillon, who suffered from Crohn’s disease and complications associated with an external waste collection pouch.

According to records cited by The Globe and Mail, Dillon also had a documented history of alcohol abuse, depression, and suicidal ideation.

The records indicate that MacLean solicited Dillon in the street.

MacLean conducted Dillon’s MAiD eligibility assessment outside a Tim Hortons in St. Thomas, Ontario, in June 2023.

The physician and patient discussed plans for the medically assisted death.

MacLean allegedly met Dillon at the Tim Hortons before driving him to a location in London, Ontario, where the euthanasia procedure was performed.

According to the records, the lethal injection was administered in a room inside a holding facility located in an industrial unit used to prepare cadavers for transport to funeral homes.

Regulators concluded that MacLean crossed professional boundaries and adopted an excessively casual approach to the assessment process.

However, the college did not object to the location where the death itself occurred.

Investigation Revealed Additional MAiD Concerns

The scrutiny extended beyond the Dillon case.

According to reports, MacLean was also investigated after a euthanasia procedure allegedly went wrong when one of the drugs typically used in assisted deaths was not administered.

The college’s records state that after administering an anesthetic to a 67-year-old cancer patient, MacLean pronounced the patient dead without administering all of the drugs normally used during the procedure.

After the physician left the residence, the patient reportedly resumed spontaneous breathing, but was alone in the holding facility and still paralyzed by the drugs.

According to the records, MacLean later returned to the home, administered additional lethal medication, and again pronounced the patient dead.

The incident became part of a broader investigation conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Regulators Order Increased Oversight

As part of the disciplinary process, MacLean agreed to mandatory clinical supervision for at least six months and ongoing reviews of his MAiD patient files.

He will also undergo additional professional education relating to euthanasia procedures, consent requirements, documentation practices, professional boundaries, and professional conduct.

An independent assessor reviewing multiple patient files reportedly concluded that MacLean “did not meet the standard of practice of the profession, displayed a lack of judgment, and that his conduct exposes or is likely to expose patients to harm or injury in five out of twenty charts reviewed.”

He will be allowed to continue euthanizing patients, however.

Intelligence Officials Allegedly Confirm Document Removal

Two intelligence community officials reportedly confirmed to The Daily Caller that CIA personnel removed JFK and MKUltra files that were being reviewed by Gabbard’s office for potential declassification.

The allegations have fueled renewed suspicion surrounding intelligence agencies’ decades-long resistance to releasing records tied to some of the most controversial operations in modern American history.

Questions surrounding the JFK assassination files have persisted for more than 60 years, while MKUltra remains one of the CIA’s most infamous covert programs.

MKUltra involved illegal experimentation using drugs, psychological torture, and behavioral conditioning techniques on unwitting subjects during the Cold War.

Whistleblower Testifies CIA Took Back “40 Boxes”

The controversy escalated further on Wednesday after CIA whistleblower James Erdmann III testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

According to testimony cited during the hearing, the CIA allegedly “took back 40 boxes of JFK and MKUltra files” and also “illegally monitored the computer and phone usage” of investigators connected to Gabbard’s review efforts.

The testimony reportedly centered on investigations tied to the origins of COVID-19 and broader intelligence-community secrecy surrounding pandemic-related information.

The allegations come amid growing public distrust toward federal intelligence agencies following years of disputes over COVID origins, censorship, surveillance authorities, and government secrecy.

Claims of Midnight Document Retrieval During Government Shutdown

NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich reported additional allegations that CIA personnel retrieved documents tied to JFK and MKUltra from the National Reconnaissance Office during a government shutdown last year.

According to Pavlich’s reporting, the records were allegedly removed “in the middle of the night” and have not been returned to ODNI.

If confirmed, the allegations would raise major questions about internal intelligence-community power struggles over declassification authority and control of historic records.

Former CIA Officer Says Agency Cannot Override President

Former CIA officer John Kiriakou blasted the agency during an interview Wednesday night, arguing the CIA has no authority to override either the president or the Director of National Intelligence.

“The CIA cannot overrule the president, and the CIA cannot even overrule the director of national intelligence,” Kiriakou said.

“They are mandated to be declassified.

“The American people have a right to know what is in these files.”

“Real life isn’t supposed to work this way. This is crazy,” he added.

CIA Pushes Back Against Hearing

Before whistleblower testimony began, CIA spokesperson Liz Lyons accused lawmakers of conducting a politically motivated hearing.

“This proceeding amounts to nothing more than dishonest political theater masquerading as a congressional hearing,” Lyons said.

Trump Administration Declassification Push Intensifies

The battle unfolds as President Donald Trump continues pushing for expanded transparency surrounding decades-old federal secrets.

Trump previously directed the release of records tied to the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations, while allies inside the administration have increasingly challenged intelligence-community resistance to declassification efforts.

Luna has now threatened to subpoena the CIA if the disputed records are not returned to ODNI within 24 hours.
