A warning from Canada

Several Dutch citizens who had autism or other intellectual disabilities have been euthanized by doctors in the Netherlands under the authority of the nation’s globalist government.

In recent years, a number of Dutch patients have died by physician-assisted suicide after doctors determined their afflictions were untreatable obstacles to a normal life, researchers found.

According to a Kingston University investigation of Dutch euthanasia cases, nearly 40 people who were identified as being autistic or intellectually disabled were legally euthanized in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2021.

The UK study found that five people younger than 30 who were killed had cited autism as the sole or major reason for their decision to go through with euthanasia.

With those cases, experts have questioned whether the law allowing doctors to kill suicidal patients via lethal injections has strayed too far from its initial intentions when passed in 2002.

When the laws were first introduced, they were meant to offer terminally ill patients an option when their life had become too unbearable due to the pain of their untreatable illness.

Kasper Raus, an ethicist and public health professor at Belgium’s Ghent University, said the types of patients seeking out physician-assisted suicide have changed greatly over the past two decades in both the Netherlands and Belgium, where it is also legal.

As Slay News has reported, Belgium has now euthanized a staggering 27,000 citizens since its laws were relaxed.

When the Netherlands became the first country to legalize human euthanasia, the debate focused on people with cancer — not those with autism, Raus said.

Patients must meet strict requirements including suffering from an incurable illness that causes “unbearable” physical or mental anguish to be eligible for euthanasia.

However, doctors ultimately decide who qualifies.

In the roughly 10-year period the study focused on, nearly 60,000 people decided to die via euthanasia in the Netherlands, according to the Dutch government’s euthanasia review committee.

Of those deaths, the committee has released documents and data on 900 cases in an effort of transparency.

Kingston University researchers looked at those 900 cases and found 39 of them had autism or an intellectual disability.

Of the 39, 18 were younger than 50 years old.

Many of the patients cited a number of mental, physical, and age-related ailments as the reason for ending their lives — including unbearable loneliness.

Eight people, however, named the sole cause of their suffering as factors related to their intellectual disability — such as social isolation, a lack of coping strategies, an inability to adjust to change, or oversensitivity to stimuli.

One of the report’s main authors Irene Tuffrey-Wijne, a palliative care specialist at Kingston University, questioned the ethics of ending the lives of the autistic.

“There’s no doubt in my mind these people were suffering,” she said.

“But is society really OK with sending this message, that there’s no other way to help them and it’s just better to be dead?”

One of the eight people cited in the study was an autistic man in his 20s.

He reported feeling unhappy since childhood and was regularly bullied, according to his case notes.

The man “longed for social contacts but was unable to connect with others” and eventually decided he wanted to die because “having to live on this way for years was an abomination.”

Dutch psychiatrist Dr. Bram Sizzo was disturbed by the trend.

“Some of them are almost excited at the prospect of death,” Sizoo said.

“They think this will be the end of their problems and the end of their family’s problems.”

In a third of cases, Dutch doctors determined that there was “no prospect of improvement” for people with autism and intellectual disabilities, according to the study.

The director of Cambridge University’s Autism Research Centre, Simon Baron-Cohen, worried that people with such disabilities may not fully grasp the decision to end their lives.

He called it “abhorrent” that they were not offered more support and were instead euthanized.

One of the world’s leading vaccinologists is warning the public that Covid mRNA “vaccines” were the trigger for a looming global mass depopulation event.

Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, a former Gates Foundation “vaccine” scientist, warns that the human race is facing a deadly “spectacular wave of hyperacute systemic disease” that will wipe out billions of people who received mRNA injections.

Bossche reveals that Covid mRNA shots were designed with a “delay” that triggers an “evolutionary mechanism.”

He warns that the coming devastation caused by Covid injections will be “unprecedented in the history of clinical virology and underappreciated by our public health authorities.”

Bossche is sounding the alarm over a looming collapse of immunity among those who received the Covid mRNA injections.

According to Bossche, the long-term results of the “vaccines” will be a widespread global wave of turbo cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and ultimately death.

He warns that countries with the highest vaccination rates will be most impacted by the looming “wave” of death and disease.

Bossche warned that the world is heading for a serious reckoning in a new essay.

He argues that the global Covid vaccination strategy set global populations up for more serious illness in the future, triggering a mass extinction event.

However, he doesn’t call this a prophecy, noting that it’s simply biology.

At the beginning of his essay, Dr. Bossche acknowledges that his warning will mostly be “met with scorn” by the establishment.

“Many people think I’m an idiot or a conspiracy theorist,” he predicts.

“I understand that if you haven’t really dug into the complex dynamics of this immune escape pandemic, it’s almost impossible to see that my predictions are actually based on rational, scientific reasoning,” he adds.

“On the flip side, those with whom I feel aligned in terms of mindset and aware of the damage caused by this large-scale interference in population immunity often call me a ‘visionary.’

“They seem amazed by how easily they think I can ‘see the future.’

“That label, though, because calling it ‘visionary’ kind of downplays all the years of scientific insights, careful reasoning, and hard-earned knowledge behind it.”

The theory behind Bossche’s warning is that people who received Covid mRNA injections have suffered long-term damage to their immune system.

While those people may seem fine for now, they will be vulnerable to waves of disease that will emerge in the next few years.

“Disturbances in natural balance” may not immediately “transition into full-blown chaos or system breakdown,” he explains.

Bossche expects this wave of deadly disease to begin five to six years after the mass “vaccination” campaign began in early 2021.

“Without mechanisms for adaptation or resilience, there’s a very real risk that systems collapse — suddenly and irreversibly,” he writes.

“Where it is currently most obvious—at least to me—that we are running out of the ability to adapt or remain resilient is in the ongoing immune escape pandemic: after 5–6 years of increasingly disruptive influences — mainly irrational infection-control measures followed by poorly thought-out mass vaccination — the population’s immunity has largely lost its ability to effectively adapt to continued viral immune escape.”

“In this high-entropy phase of modern civilization, further viral evolution in highly C-19 vaccinated populations is the most likely factor to trigger societal collapse,” he adds.

“This non-linear collapse would likely prevent the breakdown of other already-strained systems.

“This might be the only positive element in an otherwise bleak scenario.”

He also notes that deaths, chronic illness, and injuries have already surged among vaccinated populations.

However, he suggests the excess death rates already seen are only the tip of the iceberg of what is to come.

“Beyond the well-documented direct side effects of the mRNA-based ‘vaccine’ injections, highly vaccinated C-19 populations are now increasingly witnessing excess mortality due to vaccine-associated immune dysregulation,” he notes.

Governments, pharmaceutical companies, and health officials “have orchestrated a large-scale gain-of-function experiment on the human species, leading to convergent evolution of dramatic immune dysregulation and catastrophic viral immune escape,” the top scientist adds.

He concludes by warning that “there is little immune buffer capacity left to delay a spectacular wave of hyperacute systemic disease in highly C-19 vaccinated populations.”

He also adds that the threat to the mRNA-vaccinated masses “may be relatively harmless to the unvaccinated population.”

Dr. Bossche has been speaking out to warn the public about the injections for some time now, as Slay News previously reported.

The top scientist issued a similar warning during an interview with vaccine expert and investigator Steve Kirsch.

Similarly, he warned the public that a “wave” of “unprecedented deaths” is looming for those who received Covid mRNA injections.

Bossche declared that a coming “wave of morbidity” and “mortality” will wipe out the Covid-vaccinated.

The Bill Gates insider warned that population numbers worldwide will soon experience a “completely unprecedented” plunge.

Bossche predicts that “up to 30-40%” of the general public will soon die “in highly vaccinated countries.”

He also notes that Covid is impossible to tackle with mRNA injections because it will always continue to mutate.

“The mutations are no longer restricted to spike protein, which indicates enhanced activity of CTLs (cytotoxic T cells) to diminish viral infectiousness,” Bossche explained to Kirsch.

“And that CTL activity is responsible for the decline of T cells that in fact boost the neutralizing antibodies that prevent virulence.”

For this same reason, Bossche has previously warned that it was a mistake to roll out a vaccine for public use in the middle of a pandemic.

The vaccinologist notes that vaccinating large portions of the public will only make viruses stronger, rather than defeating them.

Bossche explained that waves of serious illness are increasing in developed, highly vaccinated countries.

“Ultimately, this evolution would inevitably lead to the emergence of a highly virulent variant that would cause waves of hospitalizations and severe disease in highly vaccinated countries – of course, always the same, only in highly vaccinated countries,” Bossche stressed.

The expert then warned that these highly vaccinated countries will soon see “unprecedented” numbers of deaths.

“In my humble opinion, what we will see is something completely, completely unprecedented in terms of the magnitude of the wave of morbidity and unfortunately mortality that we will see,” he said.

Kirsch asked Bossche for specifics about what this “completely unprecedented” future phenomenon would entail.

He responded by predicting that over one-third of all people will die as a direct result of the Covid mRNA injection rollout.

“In some of the highly vaccinated populations … I would not be surprised that we will be dealing with serious decimation of the population, in some populations, maybe up to 30 or 40 percent,” Bossche commented.

The top scientist says this “massive tsunami” will collapse hospitals and cause financial, economic, and social “chaos.”

“You will see what will happen, for example, in the next coming weeks…is more and more cases of more serious long Covid…

“They will start to replace the surge of the cancers…now we have a more chronic phase.

“It will end with a hyper-acute phase, a huge, huge wave…

“I’ve been studying this now for four years.

“I know what I’m talking about,” Bossche asserted.

“The thing I want your audience to understand, what we will be facing in the hyper-acute Covid crisis that is imminent, is that we will have to build a completely new world…” Bossche continues.

“It is very very clear that when this starts, our hospitals will collapse.

“And that means the chaos in all kinds of layers of society — financial, economic, social, you name it — will be complete.”

“This will be something that will be reported in history for many, many generations to come,” he noted.

A warning from Canada

Canada’s far-left government is now euthanizing a staggering average of 36 citizens every single day under the nation’s “assisted suicide” laws.

As Slay News has reported, Canada has some of the most liberal euthanasia laws in the world.

In recent years, the government has been increasingly relaxing the laws that were originally meant to give terminally ill people an option for dying.

However, the expansion of the laws means people can now be euthanized for far less severe issues such as depression, homelessness, or mental illness.

The laws have even been expanded to include “mature minors” with a push to expand to infants.

A report has revealed that the average number of citizens being euthanized in Canada has soared in recent years.

According to Health Canada‘s recent report on government-assisted suicide, euthanasia made up 4.1 percent of deaths nationwide last year.

The figure is a significant increase from 3.3 percent in 2021.

The 2022 report on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) was released last October.

It revealed that euthanasia has claimed the lives of an estimated 45,000 Canadians since it was first legalized in 2016.

Some 1,018 Canadians were killed by government-assisted suicide in 2016.

By 2022, that figure had skyrocketed to an alarming 13,241.

This means an average of 36 people were euthanized per day in Canada last year.

It also means that there has been an average yearly growth rate of 31.1 percent since 2019.

According to data, at least 81 percent of written requests for MAID were granted.

However, of the remaining 19 percent, only 3.5 percent of applicants were considered ineligible for MAID, a number which has been declining since 2019.

Many people denied government-assisted suicide were refused because of a lack of patient capacity.

Alarmingly, they would have otherwise been euthanized if there were enough beds available.

According to the Association for Reformed Political Action Canada (ARPA Canada), Quebec and British Columbia have the highest rates of euthanasia, constituting 6.6 percent and 5.5 percent of all deaths in those provinces, respectively.

Meanwhile, Newfoundland and Labrador and Manitoba have the lowest rates, with euthanasia accounting for only 1.5 percent and 2.1 percent of all deaths, respectively.

According to Health Canada, in order to be eligible for MAID, a person must experience “intolerable physical or psychological suffering that is caused by their medical condition or their state of decline and that cannot be relieved under conditions that the individual finds acceptable.”

A survey of MAID recipients has shown that the main source of their “intolerable suffering” is the “loss of [their] ability to engage in meaningful life activities.”

86 percent of the respondents are experiencing this.

At least 82 percent reported that they have lost the ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL).

Additionally, those surveyed were able to select more than one option, making the total exceed 100 percent.

Life advocate Amanda Achtman said that this confirms that “euthanasia is mainly [an] existential issue, not a pain-management or medical one.”

By March 17, 2024, people with mental illness as their sole underlying medical condition will be eligible for MAID.

However, some health experts argue that mental illness alone should not be a criterion for assisted death.

Sonu Gaind, the chief psychiatrist at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, explained that it can sometimes be difficult to determine whether a mental illness is truly irremediable, as the law requires, and to differentiate between pathological suicidality and a rational desire to die.

Gaind added that even health experts don’t fully understand the biology of most mental illnesses.

Meanwhile, activists have warned that Canada’s expansion of assisted death puts individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, low incomes, or other vulnerabilities at risk.

In an interview, Michelle Hewitt, co-chair of the advocacy group Disability Without Poverty, cited as an example the widely reported case of Sean Tagert.

Tagert is a British Columbia man diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

He opted for medically assisted death in 2019 after he struggled to get 24-hour care.

Tagert was very clear on what he wanted, which was more care hours at home.

When he was told that he would have to move to a care facility away from his family, especially his young son, he opted for euthanasia.

According to heartbreaking social media posts by his family, finding care was “a constant struggle and source of stress” for Tagert.

As of 2022 and early 2023, reports reveal that military veterans have also been offered government-assisted suicide by Veterans Affairs officials.

In one case, a Canadian Forces veteran seeking treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury was shocked when he was offered MAID by a Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) employee.

Several sources confirmed that the combat veteran never raised the issue nor asked about MAID and was “deeply disturbed by the suggestion.”

While there have been follow-up calls from the agency, who wanted to apologize to the veteran, sources say the calls only took place after the veteran filed several complaints with the VAC.

In a statement, the VAC acknowledged that its employee discussed MAID with the veteran inappropriately.

The agency is currently investigating the incident and will conduct “appropriate administrative action.”

However, the VAC declined to discuss the nature of the ongoing investigation or the specifics of what consequences the employee might face due to privacy concerns.

The department has also declined to answer questions about how many times assisted dying has been offered to veterans through its employees, or what guidance these employees have been given about providing such shocking “advice.”

Canadian doctors have admitted that a Covid “booster” shot from Moderna is responsible for a young Ontario woman now being paralyzed for the rest of her life.

37-year-old mother Kayla Pollock is now paralyzed from the neck down after receiving the mRNA injection and says her life has become a “living hell.”

According to a report from The Liberty Daily, however, doctors have offered to “make up for it” by euthanizing the young mom.

The doctors suggested that Pollock should apply for Canada’s controversial Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program and said they would help her application get accepted.

As Slay News has reported, Canada has some of the most liberal euthanasia laws in the world.

In recent years, the government has been increasingly relaxing the laws that were originally meant to give terminally ill people an option for dying.

However, the expansion of the laws means people can now be euthanized for far less severe issues such as depression, homelessness, or mental illness.

The laws have even been expanded to include “mature minors” with a push to expand to infants.

In recent months, the North American nation has been ramping up efforts to accelerate the euthanasia of mentally ill citizens.

However, Canada’s government has recently been forced to halt its controversial program to euthanize mentally ill patients after large numbers of doctors have refused to participate in the scheme.

Nevertheless, applications for euthanizing disabled Canadians have never been simpler.

In fact, Canada is now euthanizing dozens of citizens every single day.

According to The Canadian Independent, Pollock’s life took a drastic turn after receiving a Moderna Covid mRNA “booster” shot.

She experienced paralysis from the neck down and has been enduring a challenging ordeal ever since.

When the pandemic struck, Kayla recalls the mainstream media, politicians, and public health officials emphasizing the severity of the virus and urging everyone to get vaccinated.

She remembers health officials specifically advising that those at highest risk should prioritize getting vaccinated.

Kayla heeded the advice of health officials and received the first two Pfizer shots in the middle of 2021 and didn’t experience any issues.

Additionally, she mentions another reason for getting vaccinated was because her father resided in a long-term care facility with dementia, and vaccination was going to be a requirement for entry into the care home.

Kayla then decided to take a booster, but this time it was a Moderna booster shot.

According to Kayla, Moderna was being given out instead of Pfizer.

Kayla says that something didn’t sit right in her gut, but she went ahead with the Moderna booster shot anyway.

She explains her reasoning for getting the third shot was because she felt like a third one would be mandated at some point to get access to her dad’s long-term care home.

She received the Moderna booster shot on January 11, 2022.

Four days later, Kayla described a situation where her legs just gave out, and she collapsed, but all seemed fine a short time later.

Then, nine days later, she experienced a similar event, and at that time, she called her doctor, asking to see a neurologist because she suspected something wasn’t right.

On the morning of February 22, 2022, Kayla’s life took an irreversible turn.

As she awoke, she couldn’t move her body.

Later, Kayla would learn that she had developed transverse myelitis, a condition that interrupts the transmission of messages along the spinal cord nerves throughout the body.

She would go on to spend several months in the hospital.

During her hospital stay, she said she came under increasing pressure from doctors to submit to euthanasia.

She revealed that she was forced to reject offers to be put in for MAID on two occasions during her hospital stay.

After being released from the hospital, doctors have told her that she will never walk again.

They also admitted that the “booster” was to blame and again offered to help her get approved for MAID, which she rejected, again.

An organization called Veterans 4 Freedom has stepped in to help Kayla and has set up a GiveSendGo campaign to help her raise funds for a service dog.

As The Liberty Daily notes, the story serves as a “damnation of Canada’s socialized healthcare system.”

Several top medical professionals have spoken out to raise concerns over the growing worldwide push to relax euthanasia laws in order to relieve the “burden” of caring for elderly and disabled citizens.

Doctors say they are coming under increasing pressure to view vulnerable patients as being “better off dead.”

Slay News has been reporting for some time about the disturbing trend of “assisted suicide” laws that have emerged in multiple Western nations in recent years.

Canada, Belgium, and the Netherlands have been leading the way with several other nations and U.S. states seemingly desperate to follow suit.

When countries first started to legalize, they changed the laws in order to offer a “solution” to adult patients who had a “serious and incurable” disease that was causing them great suffering

Some viewed the option of “assisted suicide” as a way to avoid an otherwise unavoidable slow and painful death.

However, since the laws were changed, the floodgates have opened as each nation that legalized euthanasia has since expanded the boundaries of “assisted suicide.”

Most nations with legalized euthanasia have relaxed their laws to include people with disabilities, money problems, depression, and even homelessness.

Canada has already begun euthanizing people with mental health issues and campaigners are pushing for the laws to be expanded to include children and infants.

A report from the Christian Institute details how Canada has been “skiing” down the “slippery slope” of euthanasia.

“Since legalizing so-called Medical Assistance in Dying for certain circumstances in 2016, Canada has already abolished the requirement for a person to be terminally ill,” the report explains.

In the UK, the legislation of “assisted suicide” is now being considered in Scotland, the Isle of Man, and Jersey.

There are also “concerted efforts” in England and Wales to introduce euthanasia laws, provoking a backlash from the public.

Experts are now warning that pressure is growing to euthanize elderly people.

However, opponents of the globalist eugenics agenda are facing a new challenge as society is increasingly being led to believe that some people are simply “better off dead.”

Doctors say their patients are now requesting euthanasia because they fear becoming a “burden” on their families.

“Dr. Pia Matthews of St Mary’s University, who has a daughter with multiple disabilities, reported that she has been told ‘how much of a burden our daughter must be’ and ‘we would all be better off if she was no longer with us,’” the report explained.

She responded, “Enshrining such inaccurate and discriminatory attitudes in law would entrench the view that some lives, however short, are less worth living and that some people would be better off dead.”

The institute reports:

“Professor John Keown of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., highlighted a U.N. special rapporteur’s ‘extreme concern’ that some disabled Canadians are being pressured to request euthanasia, adding: ‘The Dutch slid down euthanasia’s slippery slope. Canada is virtually skiing.’”

Former British National Health Service (NHS) podiatrist Madeline Pavey explained being “appalled” when she found people in their 60s telling doctors they “don’t want to be a burden.”

Pavey notes it’s too easy “to encourage this kind of thinking.”

The report noted the House of Commons Health and Social Care Select Committee recently outlined the many dangers of legalizing assisted suicide but failed to oppose a change in the law.

That committee had reviewed information from jurisdictions allowing assisted suicide, and other issues including palliative care.

A Canadian judge has just signed off on a request from government doctors to euthanize a 27-year-old woman because she suffers from autism.

The approval of the case comes despite desperate pleas from her devasted father to block the government’s “assisted suicide” of his daughter.

The request was made by Alberta Health Services and approved by a Calgary judge.

Justice Colin Feasby released his 34-page written decision when he approved the request on Monday.

Despite hearing arguments from the woman’s family, Feasby asserted that the daughter’s right to apply for MAID must come first.

Canada has some of the most liberal euthanasia laws in the world.

The government’s taxpayer-funded euthanasia program, Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), has already killed tens of thousands of Canadians.

In fact, dozens of citizens are killed every single day under the program.

In 2022, euthanasia accounted for 4 percent of all deaths in the country.

An average of 36 people were euthanized per day in Canada during 2022.

In recent years, the government has been increasingly relaxing the laws that were originally meant to give terminally ill people an option for dying.

However, the expansion of the laws means people can now be euthanized for far less severe issues such as depression, homelessness, or mental illness.

The laws have even been expanded to include “mature minors” with a push to expand to infants.

Meanwhile, a growing number of autistic citizens are now being euthanized by Canada

Justice Feasby heard arguments from the autistic woman’s doctors and her father.

Feasby said the daughter’s “dignity and right to self-determination outweigh the important matters raised by (her father) and the harm that he will suffer.”

The decision will be stayed for 30 days according to Feasby, allowing the father to bring the case to the Alberta Court of Appeal, where the injunction could continue for the next month.

However, Feasby feels an injunction would “deny” the daughter “the right to choose between living or dying with dignity.”

“This is a terrible choice that should not be forced on (the daughter), as attempting to end her life without medical assistance would put her at increased risk of pain, suffering, and lasting injury,” he added.

Feasby further mentioned his ruling would not prevent the daughter from changing her mind before receiving MAID.

“I do not know why you seek MAID,” he said.

“Your reasons remain your own because I have respected your autonomy and your privacy.

“My decision recognizes your right to choose medically assisted death, but it does not require you to choose death.”

The woman’s father had claimed his daughter was incapable of giving consent due to her medical condition.

The devastated dad asked an Alberta Judge to look further into why the government approved his daughter’s death.

He was successful in receiving a temporary injunction the day before his daughter’s scheduled death.

The father warned the court that his daughter “suffers from autism and possibly other undiagnosed maladies that do not satisfy the eligibility criteria for MAID.”

Sarah Miller, the lawyer for the father, called the situation “a novel issue for Alberta.”

Miller stated in her brief for the court that “as it stands, the [Alberta Health Services] operates a MAID system with no legislation, no appeal process, and no means of review.”

Meanwhile, liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s globalist eugenics agenda has faced setbacks amid a major pushback from doctors.

Large numbers of doctors have been refusing to participate in the scheme.

A “physically healthy” woman in the Netherlands is scheduled to be euthanized by the Dutch government.

28-year-old Zoraya ter Beek from Twente, Netherlands, is scheduled to be killed by the government’s “assisted suicide” program in May.

Doctors told Beek that euthanasia is now the only option because her autism and depression will “never get better.”

The young woman once aspired to become a psychiatrist.

However, she couldn’t finish her studies because she was struggling with depression and autism.

For ten long years, she tried all possible solutions from therapy to medications to improve her condition.

Euthanasia has been legal in The Netherlands since 2002.

So-called “assisted suicide” still remains illegal in many Western nations, despite being advanced in several countries such as Canada, Switzerland, and Belgium.

In fact, Canada, which expanded its laws to include mental health and poverty, recently euthanized a 27-year-old woman for autism.

The highly controversial practice remains a hotly debated topic.

Campaigners claim it frees people from pain.

However, critics warn it could be abused or see people pressured into dying as part of a wider eugenics agenda.

Under Dutch law, a patient qualifies for an assisted death after they have exhausted all reasonable treatments and can prove they have “unbearable suffering without prospect of improvement”.

Zoraya lost hope for recovery after her psychiatrist told her “there’s nothing more” they could do to treat her pain.

“It’s never gonna get any better,” she claims her doctor told her.

At that moment, Zoraya decided to cut her life short – even if it meant leaving her beloved 40-year-old boyfriend and two cats behind.

She will be administered a sedative and a drug to stop her heart – and has chosen to die at home.

Zoraya’s intense struggles saw her start to wear a “do-not-resuscitate” badge around her neck.

She said: “I don’t see it as my soul leaving, but more as myself being freed from life.

“I’m a little afraid of dying because it’s the ultimate unknown.

“We don’t really know what’s next – or is there nothing?

“That’s the scary part.”

Zoraya told the Free Press:

“I was always very clear that if it doesn’t get better, I can’t do this anymore.”

But she had to wait two-and-a-half years for her request to be approved, and then another six to 12 months to ensure she met all the legal conditions for euthanasia.

During the long waiting time, she said she never doubted her decision, saying if it was rejected, she would “probably do it herself.”

Once she had gone through the steps, Zoraya chose the date of her death which falls in May.

She doesn’t want any fuss and plans to take her last breath on a sofa in her living room, with no music and just her boyfriend by her side.

She explained: “The doctor really takes her time.

“It is not that they walk in and say: lay down, please.

“Most of the time it is first a cup of coffee to settle the nerves and create a soft atmosphere.

“Then she asks if I am ready.

“I will take my place on the couch.

“She will once again ask if I am sure, and she will start up the procedure and wish me a good journey.

“Or, in my case, a nice nap, because I hate it if people say, ‘Safe journey.’

“I’m not going anywhere.”

Zoraya – who doesn’t have much family – said there won’t be any funeral.

Instead, she wishes to be cremated after her death and already picked “a nice spot in the woods” where her ashes will be scattered.

As Zoraya approaches her last day, she told RTL Nieuws: “I don’t want to die, but I can’t live.

“Then it’s a choice between growing old, sick, and with a lot of misery, or honoring myself and saying: I’m quitting.”

Euthanasia is usually a last resort for terminally ill patients.

However, it has recently become a “default option” for people with mental health issues.

More people are turning to euthanasia as a legal way to escape depression, anxiety, and concerns about economic uncertainty.

In 2017, out of 6,585 deaths from euthanasia in the Netherlands, 84 were on the grounds of psychiatric suffering.

Critics blasted the practice for encouraging people like Zoraya to kill themselves rather than live in pain.

Experts argue that the symptoms can be treated with ongoing care.

However, critics warn that governments are pushing for euthanasia as a cost-saving measure over expensive long-term treatments, especially in countries with socialist healthcare systems.

Stef Groenewoud, a healthcare ethicist at Theological University Kampen, told the Free Press:

“I see the phenomenon, especially in people with psychiatric diseases, and especially young people with psychiatric disorders, where the healthcare professional seems to give up on them more easily than before.”

Critics blame “suicide contagion” on a social media glamorization of suicide and radical right-to-die activists who advocate for the freedom to kill ourselves when our lives are “complete.”

Nevertheless, some doctors believe euthanasia is an acceptable alternative as they view suicidal patients as people with terminal illnesses.

Kit Vanmechelen told BBC:

“I’ve treated patients that I knew were going to commit suicide.

“So to have euthanasia as an alternative makes me very grateful we have a law.

“The ones I know will commit suicide are terminal in my opinion.

“And I don’t want to abandon my patients who are not able to go on with their lives.”

A disabled Canadian man is now celebrating his “deathaversary” after escaping being euthanized by his government over his crushing debts.

Amir Farsoud was due to be euthanized by the Canadian government’s “assisted suicide” program because he was struggling to pay off his financial debts.

Farsoud said he was booked into to be killed under Canada’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAID) law after being faced with the grim choice of death or homelessness.

However, just before he was scheduled to be euthanized, people raised enough money to improve his financial situation and he narrowly avoided death.

A year and a half later, Farsoud is now raising the alarm about the MAID program.

He warns that he was railroaded into “assisted suicide” by government doctors because of his dire housing situation.

Farsoud told his story during an interview for a new BBC documentary called “Better Off Dead?”

In the film, Farsoud told actress and disability activist Liz Carr that he’s “thinking of having friends over and raising a glass” to celebrate being alive.

If it wasn’t for his story going viral and inspiring people to donate, he revealed, he would have died in November 2022.

“For the last almost eight years I’ve had the misfortune of being on the Ontario disability support program, which gives a maximum of just over $1,300 to a single adult monthly,” he recounted.

“As a frame of reference, the average one-bedroom apartment in this province costs almost twice what a person on disability makes.”

The 55-year-old was pushed into applying for MAID after the rooming house where he lives was put on the market.

“Literally after like four months of looking there was no place – there did not exist a place – that I could afford to live in,” he explained.

“At which point I decided – OK, I’m not going to be homeless.

“I’d been homeless before.”

Farsoud revealed that the winters there are “harsh” if you’re sleeping rough.

“Six, seven months of the year, having subzero temperatures 24 hours a day seven days a week,” he said.

“There’s people that try to keep warm with makeshift fires and then end up burning to death.

“There’s people that freeze to death.

“No matter what I knew that homelessness was off the table.”

Farsoud admitted he was all out of options, pending “miraculously finding a spot” to live.

He said the only option left was to end his own life via the Canadian government’s assisted death program.

Farsoud revealed that he would easily qualify for the program due to being classed as disabled.

However, he told Carr that he made it clear to medical professionals that he was only agreeing to move forward with “assisted suicide” due to his housing situation.

“I did tell my doctor right off the bat that while I qualify for medical reasons, the reason I’m asking is my socio-economic position at the moment,” he added.

The doctor booked Farsoud for euthanasia through MAID on the grounds of “unbearable suffering.”

From there, after a 90-day assessment and waiting period, he could be euthanized.

In contrast, waiting lists for social housing in Ontario can be over a decade.

“I was basically just waiting for the 90 days to be up,” he revealed.

“I was marking time.”

Farsoud felt like “the condemned guy who was waiting for his hour” when he got a call from a Toronto reporter who reached out for an interview.

But his story made headlines in Canada.

A GoFundMe page was then set up in his name by a stranger and ended up raising him over $60,000.

The funding was enough to get him new housing and enabled him to cancel his euthanasia.

“I don’t want to die but I don’t want to be homeless more than I don’t want to die,” he told City News.

“It’s not my first choice.”

With his chronic back pain – which leaves him debilitated – he said he would likely die on the streets anyway.

He said doctors had led him to believe that euthanasia was his only option.

“I know, in my present health condition, I wouldn’t survive it anyway,” he told the outlet.

“It wouldn’t be at all dignified waiting, so if that becomes my two options, it’s pretty much a no-brainer.”

As Canada continues to expand its euthanasia laws, plans to start euthanizing infants are also gaining support.

As Slay News has reported, Canada has some of the most permissive euthanasia laws in the world.

While the laws were originally passed to give terminally ill people an option to end their life before they die in pain, the requirements to qualify for the program have slowly been loosened over time.

Canada’s medical assistance in dying laws allow almost anyone who can claim some form of hardship or disability to receive physician-assisted suicide, regardless of how minor those disabilities might be.

In a recently reported horror story from The Associated Press, Alan Nichols, 61, was successfully killed after a quick one-month waiting period as he was suffering from hearing loss.

Aside from bouts of depression over his hearing, Nichols was otherwise healthy.

However, his brother claimed doctors railroaded Nichols into killing himself.

Nichols’ family said that hospital staff helped him request euthanasia and pushed him to do it, a story that has been repeated many times by other disabled or sick Canadians.

It is now so easy for a person to be euthanized in Canada, that allegations are emerging that the Canadian government-run socialized healthcare system is now euthanizing the country’s sick and poor people rather than treating them.

Recently, Live Action News reported that the Quebec College of Physicians has made a recommendation that infants who experience “grave malformations” where life expectancy is “basically nil” should be eligible for euthanasia under Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) laws.

Now, it seems that this recommendation is more than just a shocking suggestion.

A report from the National Post reveals that some parents are already asking for their children to be euthanized.

According to the Post, some Canadian doctors have said, “that specific and explicit requests for MAID have come from parents involving very young children.”

Dr. David Lysecki, a pediatric palliative care specialist at McMaster University’s department of pediatrics said that some parents are seeking death for their child, even though with surgery and life support “we can sometimes keep their body alive for years.

“But that child would never be able to process the outside world in a cognizant way.”

“Some families ask, ‘If they’re going to die at the end of this anyway, maybe three weeks from now, and we don’t believe they’re going to have meaningful positive experiences between then and now, why must we all have to go through this period of waiting,’” he said.

“We are not at all talking about babies born with a handicap,” said Dr. Alain Naud, a family physician and clinical professor at Laval University, and one of the most vocal advocates of assisted dying in Quebec.

“We are really talking about situations which, at birth, are incompatible with life in the short term — in a matter of days, weeks, or months.”

University of Toronto professor Kerry Bowman disagrees with the idea that just because a child may die, their parents have the right to ask for their death.

“I’m not convinced we need this,” Bowman said, “because it’s not the wishes and values of the patient anymore.

“It’s the wishes and values of the parents.”

“Look, I get it, that’s what we do, that’s what parents do (make decisions for children),” Bowman added.

“But it’s not as clean a distinction, ethically, as it is when someone says, ‘I’ve been living with this pain for 15 years and I can’t do it anymore.’

“That’s very different from guessing what you think a baby would want.”

While proponents of infant euthanasia paint it as an act of mercy, infants are incapable of giving free consent to their own deaths, making these killings more similar to murder than to suicide.

A better, more humanity-affirming strategy euthanasia proponents should instead seek is better palliative and comfort care for the children, dedicated medical professionals who recognize the dignity and worth of each child, and a better support system for these parents to help them with the challenges that come with caring for a disabled child.

A euthanasia industry insider has blown the whistle to expose the shocking methods used to kill citizens with “assisted suicide” as part of the Canadian government’s eugenics agenda.

When Canada’s euthanasia laws were first introduced, they were sold to the public under the guise of painless compassion.

However, the method used to euthanize Canadians under the liberal government’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program may actually be akin to waterboarding.

During an interview with renowned Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, MAiD whistleblower Sheren revealed that people who are euthanized under the program are actually “drowned to death.”

Sheren is a combat veteran and artillery gunner in the Canadian military who has a lot of experience with the drugs used for “assisted suicide.”

She revealed that the drugs used in MAiD essentially waterboard a person to death.

Sheren explains that what she finds most disturbing is “the mechanism of the actual procedure.”

While explaining how the process works, Sheren likened Canada’s current practices to those in Nazis Germany.

“The reason people in Canada who are given MAiD seem peaceful is because they’re given a paralytic first so they’re completely paralyzed, then this drug is administered as one of the four and they start drowning to death.”

Sheren cited the testimony of Canadian Dr. Joel Zivot.

Zivot is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery at Emory Hospital at the University School of Medicine Atlanta, Georgia.

In February 2021, Zivot refuted the Canadian government’s claim that Midazolam, a drug used in MAiD, provided “relief from anxiety” and “comfort to the patient.”

Instead, he testified to the Canadian Senate that “muscle relaxants when used in MAiD will produce death by suffocation.”

“The MAiD protocol very likely causes lung congestion in a similar fashion to that which has been shown in over 200 cases of lethal injection in the U.S.,” he said.

Zivot was referencing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request containing the autopsies of around 300 Americans who were executed using the same drugs as Canada’s euthanasia program.

According to Sheren, “85% of those bodies showed a two times level increase of water in the lungs.

“What was happening is when this drug is pushed, it causes a drowning and it’s stated as akin to dying by waterboarding or drowning.”

Waterboarding is a method of torture in which water is poured into the nose and mouth of a victim who lies on his back on an inclined platform, with his feet above his head.

The practice simulates drowning and produces extreme physical suffering and an uncontrollable feeling of panic and terror, usually within seconds.

In his testimony, Zivot explained that the muscle relaxant drugs given during MAiD “will produce an outwardly observed stillness as a consequence of muscle paralysis than has wrongly and repeatedly been described as a state of peacefulness.”

“The only way to refute the hypothesis that the MAiD protocol causes pulmonary fluid accumulation and death akin to drowning is by obtaining Canadian data through autopsy studies on at least 200 individuals put to death by MAID,” he argued.

Sheren further revealed that Canadians who are euthanized by the government could be internally drowning for some time while their bodies are completely paralyzed.

“Dying with Dignity says that this is a painless death,” she stated.

“Well, if you take MAiD orally, it takes between 30 minutes to 24 hours.”

“24 hours of active drowning while you’re under a paralytic,” Sheren declared.

“That’s how dying with Dignity in the Canadian government has disguised MAiD, while they’re offering it to Canadian veterans instead of treatment, so they don’t have to pay for their pensions, so they don’t have to pay for their healthcare,” she lamented.

Additionally, Sheren revealed that the Canadian government has chosen to give citizens a long and terrifying death as a way to save on providing real healthcare under the socialist system.

“In 2021, they had a gross reduction in healthcare of $19.2 million,” she said.

“When they did MAiD, they saved another (…) $22 million.”

“By the end of it all in that year the healthcare system, just from doing MAiD instead of actually giving people palliative of care, [saved] $86.9 million,” Sheren continued.

“We deserve better and so do our kids and so do our citizens.

“We don’t deserve this Canada,” she declared.

“I’ve seen this done to someone,” she continued.

“You don’t wish that on anyone.

“It would have been easier it’s easier to put bricks around my feet and go jump in the ocean than it is to die by MAiD.

“That is a terrifying way to die.”

In Canada, the Liberal government has been pushing to expand the laws to include the physically healthy but mentally ill.

However, the government has been forced to delay the expansion of euthanasia to those suffering solely from such illnesses until 2027.

The delay came following backlash from Canadians and prominent doctors.

In January, provincial health ministers went a step further than seeking a delay in the provision, asking for the measure to be “indefinitely” postponed.

A request that has yet to be accepted.

The most recent reports show that MAiD is the sixth highest cause of death in Canada.

However, it was not listed as such in Statistics Canada’s top 10 leading causes of death from 2019 to 2022.

When asked why MAiD was left off the list, the agency explained that it records the primary cause as the illnesses that led Canadians to choose to end their lives via euthanasia, not the actual cause of death.

According to Health Canada, in 2022, 13,241 Canadians died by lethal injections under the MAiD program.

This accounts for 4.1 percent of all deaths in the country for that year.

The figure is a 31.2 percent increase from 2021.

While the numbers for 2023 have yet to be released.

However, all indications point to a situation even more grim than in 2022.
