A Chinese scholar has been arrested after she was caught trying to smuggle a biological pathogen into the United States to be used for an “agricultural terrorism” attack.

Yunqing Jian, a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, was arrested and charged with attempting to smuggle a highly dangerous biological pathogen into the United States.

The fungus is capable of crippling U.S. agriculture and posing serious threats to human and animal health, federal prosecutors revealed this week.

According to documents unsealed Tuesday in federal court, Jian, a researcher originally from China, and her boyfriend, Zunyong Liu, face federal charges after attempting to bring Fusarium graminearum into the U.S. last July.

The fungus that devastates staple crops like wheat, rice, barley, and corn.

“These two aliens have been charged with smuggling a fungus that has been described as a ‘potential agroterrorism weapon’ into the heartland of America,” said U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon, Jr., warning of the “gravest national security concerns.”

“They apparently intended to use a University of Michigan laboratory to further their scheme,” he added, identifying at least one of the suspects as a loyal member of the Chinese Communist Party.

The dangerous fungus, which causes “head blight” in crops, is known to be responsible for billions in global agricultural losses annually.

According to federal prosecutors, it can also cause vomiting, liver damage, and reproductive defects in both humans and livestock.

Liu, Jian’s boyfriend, was intercepted by Customs and Border Protection officers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, carrying the pathogen into the U.S.

When first questioned, he lied to officers about the reason for his visit and denied any knowledge of the substance.

But under pressure, he confessed.

“Ultimately, Liu admitted to smuggling the pathogen and stated that he brought the pathogen into the United States so that he could conduct research on it at a laboratory at the University of Michigan where his girlfriend, Jian, worked,” wrote an FBI special agent in the criminal filing.

Federal officials say Jian, who earned a Ph.D. in plant pathogens from Zhejiang University in China, was funded by a Chinese government-linked foundation to conduct post-doctoral research specifically on the Fusarium fungus.

She is set to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

Disturbingly, this case marks the second criminal complaint in just one week involving a Chinese national at the University of Michigan.

Last Friday, federal prosecutors revealed a Chinese student had illegally voted in the 2024 U.S. election.

The student, in the U.S. on a valid visa, managed to obtain and cast a ballot in early voting last October before fleeing back to China.

The Trump administration reacted swiftly, announcing a crackdown on Chinese student visas and influence in U.S. universities.

“We will not tolerate the [Chinese Communist Party’s] exploitation of U.S. universities or theft of U.S. research intellectual property or technologies to grow its military power, conduct intelligence collection or repress voices of opposition,” a White House statement said.

The administration also pledged to “aggressively revoke” student visas connected to foreign espionage or anti-American activity.

As concerns mount over the Chinese Communist Party’s infiltration of American institutions, from universities to elections, the University of Michigan appears to be emerging as a recurring weak point in U.S. homeland security.

With agroterrorism threats now in play, critics argue it’s long past time for a full federal audit of foreign nationals operating in sensitive academic research.

The Supreme Court declined to take up a case on Maryland’s AR-15 ban, allowing the state’s Democrat leaders to continue throttling the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding American citizens.

The court’s denial raised objections from Justice Clarence Thomas.

Thomas said he “would not wait to decide” a question “of critical importance to tens of millions of law-abiding AR-15 owners.”

Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch also said they would have taken the case.

However, four votes were needed to take up the issue.

In a brief opinion, Justice Brett Kavanaugh said it is not necessary for the Supreme Court to get involved while lower courts continue to develop the case.

The Supreme Court has largely avoided altering the legal landscape on guns since its landmark decision three years ago in Bruen.

The case imposed a new historical test that made it significantly harder to regulate firearms.

But Kavanaugh predicted that the Supreme Court would likely decide the AR-15 issue in the next year or two.

“Opinions from other Courts of Appeals should assist this Court’s ultimate decision-making on the AR-15 issue,” he wrote.

“Additional petitions for certiorari will likely be before this Court shortly, and, in my view, this Court should and presumably will address the AR-15 issue soon, in the next Term or two.”

In a fiery dissent, Justice Thomas argued that AR-15s are “clearly ‘Arms’ under the Second Amendment’s plain text.”

He chastised the court for waiting to decide a matter of “critical importance.”

“I would not wait to decide whether the government can ban the most popular rifle in America,” Justice Thomas wrote.

“The question is of critical importance to tens of millions of law-abiding AR-15 owners throughout the country.”

The AR-15 is the most popular rifle in the U.S. and is arguably the most iconic firearm in the world.

The gun control lobby has long sought to paint the AR-15 as a “weapon of war” unfit for civilian use.

However, AR-15s have never been used on the battlefield, and millions of Americans use the rifles for lawful purposes without incident.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals repeated the “weapon of war” talking point in its 2024 ruling upholding Maryland’s ban.

The court held that AR-15s are “military-style weapons designed for sustained combat operations that are ill-suited and disproportionate to the need for self-defense.”

Kavanaugh called the appeals court’s decision “questionable,” suggesting he could help overturn it in the future.

“Given that millions of Americans own AR-15s and that a significant majority of the States allow possession of those rifles, petitioners have a strong argument that AR-15s are in ‘common use’ by law-abiding citizens and therefore are protected by the Second Amendment under Heller,” he wrote.

X boss Elon Musk has issued a warning about excessive government spending and America’s bloated national debt.

Musk is once again sounding the alarm on reckless government spending by issuing a scathing rebuke of the latest congressional spending bill and the Republicans who supported it.

He warns that America’s financial future is being mortgaged for political convenience.

In a post on X early Wednesday, Musk wrote:

“This immense level of overspending will drive America into debt slavery!”

Musk’s comments come as he continues to speak out against the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Despite President Donald Trump’s support for the spending bill, Musk came out swinging against both the bill and the politicians behind it.

The bill passed the House last month and awaits approval from the Senate.

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk declared.

“This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.

“Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”

When Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked about Musk’s criticism, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt doubled down on Trump’s support:

“The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill.

“It doesn’t change the president’s opinion.

“This is one big, beautiful bill, and he’s stickin’ to it.”

Musk didn’t stop there, however.

He emphasized the urgency of addressing America’s spending addiction before it’s too late:

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has announced his “radical” new plans to pour tens of billions of dollars into schemes that seek to take control of Africa’s “vaccines,” food supply, and digital ID programs.

A major peer-reviewed study has confirmed that the spike protein from Covid mRNA “vaccines” is a rogue operator that infests every cell in the body to rewire human biology, causing deadly cancers, brain disorders, immune system failure, and death.

Olympic women’s boxing gold medalist Imane Khelif has been confirmed to be male, a leaked medical report has revealed.

Khelif has been under intense scrutiny following allegations that he is biologically male, despite competing as female.

The Algerian professional boxer doesn’t claim to be transgender and insists he’s a biological female.

However, a medical report—reportedly stemming from the 2023 World Championships—has emerged, indicating Khelif’s sex test confirms male chromosomes, according to multiple outlets.

The controversy broke just two days after World Boxing announced Khelif would need to undergo sex verification testing to remain eligible for women’s events.

Khelif, who represented Algeria in Paris and won gold, was allowed to compete despite longstanding questions about his eligibility.

“Chromosome analysis reveals male karyotype,” states the document, seen by 3 Wire Sports via Telegraph Sport.

The report, dated March 17, 2023, appears on the letterhead of Dr Lal PathLabs, a reputable New Delhi-based lab accredited by the American College of Pathologists and ISO-certified.

Journalist Alan Abrahamson first brought attention to the allegations at the Paris Games and published the findings that reignited global debate about fairness in women’s sports.

World Boxing has responded by updating its eligibility standards.

In a letter to the Algerian Boxing Federation, the organization declared:

“Imane Khelif may not participate in the female category at the Eindhoven Box Cup, 5-10 June 2025, and any World Boxing event until Imane Khelif undergoes genetic sex screening in accordance with World Boxing’s rules and testing procedures.”

The letter further explained:

“In May 2025, the Executive Board exercised this authority and adopted new eligibility criteria for participation in sex-specific boxing categories.

“These new eligibility rules were developed with the express purpose of safeguarding athletes in combat sports, particularly given the physical risks associated with Olympic-style boxing.”

The new policy mandates that all athletes over 18 must undergo PCR testing for genetic sex verification.

According to World Boxing, “the PCR test is a laboratory technique used to detect specific genetic material, with the SRY gene revealing the presence of the Y chromosome, which is an indicator of biological sex.”

Samples may be taken via swab, saliva, or blood.

Khelif had previously expressed his intent to defend his gold medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

He even dared President Donald Trump to try to stop him from fighting women during the Olympics.

However, World Boxing’s updated “Sex, Age and Weight” policy casts significant doubt on his eligibility moving

forward.

The governing body reiterated its stance:

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is blasting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after it approved yet another Covid “vaccine.”

This time it was Moderna’s (mRNA) latest shot, mNEXSPIKE.

The new injection is aimed at Americans 65 and older and those with underlying health conditions.

“Not MAHA at all!!!” Greene posted on X.

Greene’s comment refers to the “Make America Healthy Again” slogan of President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“Unreal,” the congresswoman raged.

The FDA announced the vaccine’s approval for people who have previously received any Covid shot.

However, the news has been sparking backlash from critics of the agency’s handling of “vaccine” safety.

According to Moderna, “COVID-19 remains a serious public health threat.”

CEO Stéphane Bancel, a World Economic Forum (WEF) “agenda contributor,” claims Covid caused over 47,000 deaths last year.

However, he failed to mention the millions of deaths caused by Covid mRNA injections.

The company called itself “a leader in the creation of the field of mRNA medicine.”

Moderna’s name even combines the words “modified” and “RNA.”

Greene, an outspoken opponent of Covid shots, has repeatedly called for pulling their FDA approval.

Back in March, she warned that the “vaccines” are “causing permanent harm and deaths.”

“FDA approval for COVID-19 vaccines needs to be pulled and they need taken off the childhood vaccine schedule ASAP,” Greene wrote.

She pointed out that her personal account on X, known as Twitter at the time, had been banned for challenging the “vaccines.”

Greene remained banned until Elon Musk bought the platform and reinstated her account.

She noted the “thousands of people who were censored and silenced” for speaking against the injections.

Greene didn’t hold back in March comments:

“COVID-19 vaccines should have never received approval, and they’ve known the entire time how bad the side effects are and deaths caused by them.

“It’s time to do the right thing. Stop the COVID-19 vaccines.”

Rep. Thomas Massie has also expressed the view that the FDA should nix approval for the Covid “vaccines.”

“FDA should immediately revoke approval of these shots,” he tweeted in February.

The Georgia congresswoman is currently in her third term in the House.

She continues to position herself as one of the most vocal opponents of the federal government’s Covid policies.

In a move that has sparked outrage among medical experts, lawmakers, and participants, Australia’s Queensland Health has suddenly shut down one of the world’s largest real-world studies comparing Covid “vaccinated” and unvaccinated individuals and ordered the complete destruction of all samples and critical data.

The state’s health officials permanently shut down the QoVAX Safety and Efficacy Trial (QoVAX-SET).

However, the reasoning behind the sudden destruction of all data was not clear.

The announcement came in a letter to participants, in which Metro North Health stated:

“There is no longer a scientific and public health need to retain these biological samples for future

“These samples will be appropriately sterilised and disposed of,” the letter continued.

“All study data… will be archived… [but] will not be accessed or used for any future purpose.”

Critics, meanwhile, say the move is nothing short of scientific sabotage.

Notably, QoVAX was one of the only major global studies with access to a “comparison set” of individuals who had been “vaccinated” but had never contracted COVID-19.

This data pool is considered invaluable to understanding “vaccine” efficacy and potential long-term side effects.

The study included 10,000 adult participants, both vaxxed and unvaxxed, from “86% of Queensland’s postcodes.”

Scientists had collected over 100,000 biospecimens and 11 million data points.

Major institutions — including QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, the University of Queensland, QUT, James Cook University, and Griffith University — contributed to the project.

The study was defunded in 2023 with no official explanation.

The decision derailed the nearly complete research and triggered public backlash.

Since then, a growing chorus of lawmakers and scientists has questioned the state government’s motives.

Senator Gerard Rennick, an outspoken critic of the mass Covid injection rollout and advocate for vaccine-injured Australians, took to Parliament to demand answers:

“Why has the Queensland health department withdrawn funding for its award-winning QoVAX research program studying the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines?” Rennick said.

“QoVAX rapidly enrolled over 10,000 participants…

“The team collected not just basic health data, but also environmental, genomic, and immunological data that could help us understand how these novel mRNA and DNA vaccines affect the immune system.

“Instead of answering vital questions about why highly vaccinated countries like Australia saw such high excess mortality and long Covid rates, the government has chosen to shut down the only study that could deliver real answers.”

QoVAX Director Professor Janet Davies called the decision “incredibly disappointing,” underscoring the study’s global importance.

Senator Malcolm Roberts was even more blunt in a Facebook post:

“Losing the last evidence that could inform a truly objective assessment of the effects of the injections wouldn’t just be a tragedy — it could be a crime.

“I’m putting Queensland Health bureaucrats on notice: do not destroy these samples and evidence.

“Allow the study to complete so that the data can be shared for all Australians.”

Despite the massive scale and participation, all physical evidence will now be sterilized and discarded.

While the data will be legally archived, officials say it will never be accessed or used, effectively burying any possibility of full, independent analysis of Australia’s Covid “vaccine” response.

For many, the destruction of such a rare and robust dataset only confirms what skeptics have long feared: that governments would rather bury the truth than confront it.
