A new study has revealed that the Canadian government’s socialized healthcare system is saving millions of dollars a year by euthanizing patients instead of treating them.

The study found that Canada’s healthcare system saves up to $136.8 million annually thanks to the government’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAiD) program.

However, critics are warning that vulnerable patients are being pressured into choosing death over “costly” care.

Many argue that euthanizing citizens to relieve the burden on the government is “heartless utilitarianism” that must be rejected.

The study was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

A “cost analysis of medical assistance in dying [suicide] in Canada” found that the policy saves the Canadian federal government up to $136.8 million every year, the study notes.

“As death approaches, healthcare costs increase dramatically in the final months,” the study states.

“Patients who choose medical assistance in dying may forgo this resource-intensive period.”

The report was based on projections using data from Belgium and the Netherlands.

In those two European nations, assisted suicide has been legal for over two decades.

“Medical assistance in dying” (MAiD) in Canada was legalized in 2016.

The authors of the report claim they “are not suggesting medical assistance in dying as a measure to cut costs.”

However, they “suggest that the savings will almost certainly exceed the costs associated with offering medical assistance in dying to patients across the country and that the inclusion of medical assistance in dying in the services covered by universal health care will … release funds to be reinvested elsewhere.”

The report also claims that euthanasia will shorten the lives of 60 percent of patients, mostly suffering from cancer, by one month, and by one week in 40 percent of cases.

This new study the globalist eugenics agenda that is emerging in the West.

Citizens are increasingly being viewed as a drain on resources.

As Slay News has previously reported, influential globalists, such as leaders of the World Economic Forum, frequently describe members of the general public as “useless.”

It should come as no surprise, then, when globalist governments push euthanasia as a means to relieve the “burden.”

Either through direct policy or indirectly through denial of funds, patients will suffer as a result and feel pressured to choose death, or simply be given no other alternative.

The push for “assisted suicide” is now also spreading to other countries around the world.

The UK government is now also considering plans to legalize “assisted suicide.”

Like Canada, the UK also relies on a taxpayer-funded socialized healthcare system.

It is vital that politicians and the public heed the warnings coming out of Canada and reject the horrific trend towards death as a solution to the challenges of care.

A Canadian cancer patient was recently granted assisted suicide within two days after waiting weeks in vain for chemotherapy.

His widow later stated:

“I think I could still have my Dan if he had gotten treatment sooner.

“If we had more money, we could have gone to the [United] States.

“But we’re just regular people.”

The rate of assisted suicide in Canada has surged to unprecedented levels in recent years.

The surge prompted the renowned medical journal The Lancet to comment on the alarming rise, which now accounts for 4 percent of all Canadian deaths.

In 2022 alone, there were 13,241 state-sanctioned assisted suicides in Canada.

Meanwhile, the province of Quebec saw a 54 percent increase.

Following several potentially wrongful suicides, an official memo warned doctors to respect the limits of the current law.

Numerous horror stories have emerged from Canada.

A growing number of military veterans suffering from PTSD are now being offered “assisted suicide.”

The Netherlands has recorded a startling spike in the number of citizens being euthanized by the Dutch government for mental health conditions such as dementia, depression, and autism.

Alarmingly, a new report warns that those citizens being euthanized include minors.

A new report from The Times has exposed a massive 60 percent rise in Dutch euthanasia cases for “psychological suffering” – mental illness.

The report also reveals that from 2023 to 2024, the nation saw a 10 percent spike in all euthanasia deaths.

Last year alone, almost 10,000 Dutch people were killed by “assisted suicide.”

Another report from Unherd notes that in 2024, the Netherlands reported 219 cases of euthanasia for “psychological suffering.”

This marks a staggering increase from only two cases in 2010.

“Of the 219, 30 were for patients aged 18-39,” the outlet stated.

“An unspecified number of minors were also euthanized.”

However, although the number was unspecified, there are a few specifics.

One boy between the ages of 16 and 18 was euthanized for autism.

“The psychiatrists decided that his condition was untreatable, despite not having tried all available therapeutic models, and thought he might attempt suicide again if his application for euthanasia was not granted,” the report explains.

“A doctor also concluded that his wish to be euthanised did not stem from his autism but instead from the suffering caused by the consequences of autism, which some may consider a distinction without a difference.”

Another woman with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) was euthanized because she suffered an injury that prevented her from cleaning.

The Netherlands legalized euthanasia in 2002.

Since then, the overnmen has been pushing to rapidly expand the laws.

On October 7, 2013, the Daily Mail reported that a Dutch woman had been killed by medics via lethal injection.

The woman was killed because she feared she could not cope with becoming blind.

One of the health specialists analyzing her case insisted that her case was exceptional.

“She was, for example, obsessed by cleanliness and could not stand being unable to see spots on her clothes,” the specialist wrote.

In 2014, the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition described how the Dutch media had reported another death:

“A physically healthy man of 63 who was working for a government institution, died by euthanasia.

“This man had been treated for a long time for depression, but the treatment didn’t work out.

“According to psychiatrist Gerty Casteelen, this man decided that he wanted to die.

“The night before his death, he gave a farewell reception for his colleagues.

“The day after, Casteelen went to his house and gave him a lethal injection.”

In 2015, an 80-year-old woman was euthanized against the wishes of her caretakers at the nursing home, Ter Reede, where she resided.

Her family had petitioned a Dutch court to approve her death after her care needs had become a burden.

However, the woman could not consent to “assisted suicide” due to purportedly suffering from some form of dementia.

Her family claimed she would have wanted death, and, despite strong opposition from the management of the nursing home, medical practitioners, and the woman’s doctor, a Utrecht judge agreed.

In 2015, a Dutch euthanasia clinic was reprimanded for euthanizing a healthy 47-year-old woman who said that a ringing in her ears – a condition known as tinnitus – was unbearable.

Despite this track record, the latest report has caused some concern.

The regional euthanasia review committee, RTE, stated that physicians must exercise “great caution” with psychiatric conditions.

According to a report from the Guardian:

“Six deaths by euthanasia in 2024 were judged by the RTE to have lacked due care.”

The deaths included the woman who was euthanized for the suffering caused by her OCD.

The report noted that “some experts are concerned, especially regarding younger people.”

Damiaan Denys, a professor of psychiatry at Amsterdam University Medical Center, told The Times:

“Although the absolute numbers are still low, there is a recent, enormous increase in requests and euthanasia performed in patients with psychological complaints, especially in young people under 30.

“This is controversial because it is unclear whether young people at that age can meet the due diligence criteria.

“How can one, at that age, determine with certainty that a young person with a still-developing brain definitely wants to die, that life is experienced as hopeless and without prospects and that all treatments have already been carried out?”

The fact that Denys believes Dutch euthanasia numbers are low is an indication of how accustomed to the practice he has become.

Nations around the world should be looking at the rise in young people opting for euthanasia for mental health reasons with enormous alarm.

In Canada, there is still an opportunity to halt the expansion of eligibility for assisted suicide to those suffering from mental illness.

In the UK, it is still possible to stop the legalization of “assisted suicide” altogether.

Those who care for the vulnerable should do everything in their power to step back from the edge of the slippery slope.

Note on what the Dutch politicians made an Act of Dutch law in 2002, and where according to ‘AI’ states then was the basis for a Person to be Euthanized, ”  the “Termination of Life on Request and Assisted Suicide (Review Procedures) Act”. This act, which came into force after a long period of debate and evolving legal interpretations, established a framework for the practice, requiring specific conditions to be met, such as the patient’s suffering being unbearable and irremediable, and the request being made in a clear and conscious state by the patient.

The Dutch government has updated its “voluntary death” laws to allow parents to euthanize their children.

If the child is aged between 1 and 12 years old and meets certain criteria, parents can now put them forward for “assisted suicide.”

The updated law states that the only qualification is that the child must be terminally ill and be suffering.

The law was updated after the Dutch government tweaked its Euthanasia Act so that children are covered for the first time, The Telegraph reported.

“Under the change, euthanasia – legal, voluntary death carried out by a doctor – will only be an option for children who are suffering unbearably with no hope of improvement and for whom palliative care cannot bring relief,” the report explained.

Health minister Ernst Kuipers said the death procedure now is available for “children who are so ill that death is unavoidable and they are expected to die soon.”

The government said it expects the process will be used on up to 10 children a year.

The government argues that euthanasia is different from suicide as it is seen as a medical procedure.

The idea of expanding the laws to children was widely supported by physicians in the Netherlands, according to WND.

But fierce opposition was coming from two Christian parties in the ruling Dutch coalition, the report said.

Kuipers said the change is “a solution that will help these incurably ill children, their parents, and also their doctors.”

Belgium, a neighbor, approved doctor-assisted death for children of all ages a few years ago.

As Slay News reported, Belgium has already killed over 27,000 people with euthanasia so far.

Last year in the Netherlands, 8,720 people were killed by euthanasia.

Since it first was adopted by the Dutch government in 2002, more than 91,000 have died by the procedure.

A report from the Christian Institute in the U.K. said Kevin Yuill, of the group Humanists Against Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia, said the numbers are alarming.

“Euthanasia is increasingly seen as a solution for social rather than medical problems,” he explained.

“What we are increasingly seeing is death, ironically, as a ‘lifestyle choice’ for those who are frightened of living.

“This is worrying, to say the least.”

Last month, Lord Carlile of Berriew KC, philosopher Baroness O’Neill of Bengarve and former Supreme Court judge Lord Jonathan Sumption highlighted the serious flaws in pro-assisted suicide rhetoric in their forewords to a Policy Exchange report.

The experts were writing in support of ethicist Prof John Keown’s critique of the case made by Peers in favour of Baroness Meacher’s failed assisted suicide Bill in the 2021 House of Lords debate.

Lord Sumption pointed to the glaring inconsistency at the heart of the pro-assisted suicide cause: “What is the justification for allowing medically assisted suicide but limiting it to those believed to be close to death or in intolerable pain, actual or prospective?

“There are so many other reasons why one might want to end one’s life.

“Once the moral barrier has been crossed, what is the logical stopping point?”

The globalist Canadian government has launched a campaign to promote a new push to begin euthanizing children with mental health issues without their parents’ consent.

The new scheme seeks to open up the country’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) to children.

Liberal Party Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government describes those children who would be eligible for “assisted suicide” using the alarmingly vague term “mature minors.”

According to the Canadian government’s promotional material, children with mental health issues would be euthanized without parental consent under the expanded laws.

The move to expand the eugenics programs to “mature minors” was revealed in flyers distributed by the Canadian government.

Jasmin Laine, the host of “Over Opinionated,” shared the flyers on social media that are being circulated in Manitoba.

In a post on X, Laine wrote:

“You have to be a special kind of demonic to advocate for MAID for young, vulnerable people and people who are suicidal.

“Imagine walking into a clinic for help, and being told the world would be better off without you… that you should cave to the lies the devil on your shoulder is telling you, and it would be more affordable for Canada’s healthcare system if you were gone.”

Laine has herself participated in “recovery plans and treatment after trying to end it” after her partner of ten years committed suicide.

“There is nothing compassionate about this—it is pure evil,” she concluded her post.

The flyers explain that the government of PM Carney, a World Economic Forum (WEF) “agenda contributor,” has recommended that citizens deemed “mature minors” must be allowed to qualify for euthanasia.

“A mature minor is a child or teen who is deemed capable of making a decision for MAiD,” the paper states.

“This would essentially remove the minimum age of eligibility.

“The [government] committee also suggested parents may not be consulted and wouldn’t need to consent to their child’s death via MAiD.”

However, the vagueness of the term “mature” could open up the scheme to children of all ages.

The flyer goes on to argue that, according to the Canadian government, killing children without parental consent is an example of protecting the most vulnerable citizens.

“Children are uniquely vulnerable,” the informational pamphlet says.

“Canada’s first priority must be to provide high-quality medical care for children.”

Beginning in March 2027, the government will begin euthanizing Canadians suffering from mental illnesses.

Continuing to bizarrely invert reality, the pamphlet states:

“Hopelessness and a desire to end one’s life can be a symptom of some mental illnesses.”

The flyer continues by promoting suicide as a faster alternative than waiting for medical treatments.

Essentially, the government is advising citizens that suicide is more efficient than the Canadian healthcare system.

“One in 10 people will wait more than 4 months for counselling,” the document reads.

“The waiting period for MAID is only 3 months.

“We are already hearing about people asking for MAID because they do not have the support needed to live.”

The Dying With Dignity Canada (DWDC) website notes that, currently, “Canada’s law on medical assistance in dying (MAiD) requires that applicants must be 18 years of age or older.”

“In many jurisdictions across Canada, mature minors already have the right to make important decisions regarding their healthcare.”

“Dying With Dignity Canada believes mature minors should be allowed the right to choose MAiD,” the site continues.

Next, the website cites a 2023 Ipsos poll claiming that “71% of people across Canada support the ability for mature minors to request and be considered for MAID, if all other criteria are met under the law.”

This troubling push by the Canadian government highlights the anti-human agenda being pushed by the globalist ruling class.

Canada’s liberal government is refusing to rule out plans to begin euthanizing children who have been diagnosed with autism.

It comes as the globalist Canadian government seeks to expand its radical “assisted suicide” laws to include “mature minors” with mental health issues.

Canada’s liberal government is once again raising global eyebrows with the nation’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAiD) program

This time, the government of Prime Minister Mark Carney is using taxpayer money to fund research discussing whether children with severe autism should qualify for euthanasia under the country’s increasingly radical assisted-death laws.

Documents recently obtained by Rebel News reveal that Health Canada has allocated over half a million dollars—$549,068—to Dalhousie University for a four-year study focused on “youth views” regarding euthanasia, palliative care, and MAiD.

The project, cloaked in progressive language, appears to open the door to what critics fear is a slippery slope: the potential state-sanctioned killing of vulnerable children.

One internal email from a Health Canada official in the Indigenous End-of-Life Care team, Heather Davids, directly asks bureaucrats Ian Gillies and Richard Martin:

“How should the department respond to public correspondence about whether severe autism meets the eligibility criteria for MAiD?”

A troubling draft reply, later removed from final versions, read:

“Your position will be carefully considered as the government advances with MAiD legislation.”

The message stops short of endorsing euthanasia for autistic children.

However, it reflects growing concerns among Canadians—and human rights advocates worldwide—that the Canadian government is willing to entertain such dangerous ideas.

Since 2021, the Liberal Party administration has aggressively expanded MAiD access, even passing Bill C-7 to allow those suffering solely from mental illness to apply starting in 2027.

The consequences are already severe.

According to Health Canada’s own numbers, MAiD ranked as the sixth leading cause of death in the country in 2022.

A staggering 13,241 Canadians died via lethal injection that year, up 31.2% from 2021, despite many not being terminally ill.

Critics argue this expansion targets the mentally ill, disabled, and increasingly the young—those most in need of protection, not a state-approved death.

The Conservative Party has repeatedly attempted to halt this moral freefall.

Conservatives introduced Bill C-314, which sought to derail the Left’s eugenics agenda.

However, these efforts have been blocked by the ruling Liberal Party’s allies.

Despite warnings from ethicists and disability advocates, the government continues to push the envelope.

The Canadian government is showing little regard for the sanctity of life or the basic protections owed to its most vulnerable citizens.

The liberal Canadian government is advancing plans to update the country’s “assisted suicide” laws to allow authorities to euthanize children without the need for parental consent.

Assisted suicide and euthanasia have become rapidly accepted in Canada.

The government has continued to lift restrictions on its Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) program.

Initially, it was introduced to give people who were terminally ill an option to prevent then from dying a slow painful death.

Over time, however, the laws have become more relaxed.

Canadians can now apply for euthanasia for a variety of reasons, including minor illnesses or being too poor or homeless.

But there are still efforts to expand it even further.

A new government report on MAiD was recently presented to Parliament.

The report urges the inclusion of minors in the eligibility for physician-assisted death — without parental consent.

The Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying presented its latest report last week, which included a recommendation that minors be able to request MAiD.

“For MAID and mature minors, the committee heard a mix of views about whether MAID should be available to those under the age of 18,” the report read.

“Many witnesses believed that age alone does not determine whether someone is capable of consenting to MAID. At the same time, a cautious approach was recommended, especially since there is little evidence from youth themselves on this topic.

“Most witnesses agreed that if MAID for mature minors were allowed, it should only be under track one (reasonably foreseeable natural death).

“The committee recommends that mature minors should have access to MAID under track one.

“The committee also recommends that youth be consulted on the topic of MAID and mature minors.”

The committee then made the recommendation that Canada should begin, within five years, funding research and consulting “with minors on the topic of MAID, including minors with terminal illnesses, minors with disabilities, minors in the child welfare system and Indigenous minors.”

Additionally, the report recommended that minors be able to be euthanized, even if their parent doesn’t approve:

That the Government of Canada establish a requirement that, where appropriate, the parents or guardians of a mature minor be consulted in the course of the assessment process for MAID, but that the will of a minor who is found to have the requisite decision-making capacity ultimately takes priority.

The report had the backing of Liberal, NDP, and Bloc-Quebecois members of the committee, though a dissenting opinion from conservatives was also included.

They argued that “it would be irresponsible for the Liberal government to move ahead with any expansion of MAID for mature minors,” and said they do not support this further expansion.

“The Liberals’ rushed and reckless approach to Canada’s MAID regime has put the lives of vulnerable Canadians at risk,” the dissenting opinion said.

“We caution the Liberal government against repeating the mistakes they made concerning MAID MD-SUMC.

“MAID policy must be grounded in evidence, consultation with impacted groups, and with serious consideration given to protecting the vulnerable.”

A groundbreaking new study has confirmed that toxic ingredients in “vaccines” cause inflammation and brainstem dysfunction, which trigger Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in sleeping babies.

The study, recently published in the International Journal of Medical Sciences, is raising major concerns about the safety of early-life vaccinations for a small but potentially vulnerable group of infants.

According to the researchers, underdeveloped liver enzyme systems may hinder some babies from effectively processing “vaccine” ingredients, leading to sudden death.

The peer-reviewed study focused on cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzymes — a family of enzymes primarily located in the liver, essential for drug metabolism.

The authors reviewed genetic and pharmacological literature to assess how variability in these enzymes may affect how infants metabolize vaccine excipients — substances typically considered “inactive” ingredients, such as preservatives or stabilizers.

“It is generally believed that excipients… are present in such trace amounts that they don’t affect how the body metabolizes a vaccine,” the study notes.

However, the researchers say this assumption may not apply universally.

With modern vaccine schedules requiring multiple complex formulations early in life, the authors caution that children with compromised or immature enzyme pathways may not be able to safely eliminate even trace amounts of certain additives.

Renowned McCullough Foundation epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher, who first reported the study, said of the findings:

“The result is a biologically plausible mechanism linking early-life vaccination to sudden infant death, particularly in those with genetic or developmental vulnerabilities.”

Past research on SIDS has identified abnormalities in the brainstem and medulla, areas that control vital functions like breathing and heart rate.

The study suggests these irregularities could stem from inflammation or infection, possibly worsened by prolonged exposure to vaccine ingredients in children with impaired metabolic clearance.

This study adds to a growing body of literature calling for a reassessment of one-size-fits-all vaccine protocols, particularly in infants whose ability to process pharmaceutical compounds remains underdeveloped.

It also comes amid a swelling body of evidence linking “vaccines” to SIDS.

As Slay News reported last month, an explosive study confirmed that the vast majority of SIDS cases occur within the first week following routine childhood vaccinations.

The study analyzed official data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

Statistics from the VAERS database were combined with peer-reviewed research for a groundbreaking new analysis.

Alarmingly, the study found that a staggering 78 percent of SIDS deaths occur within 7 days of the “vaccines.”

Shockingly, 58% of sudden infant deaths occurred within just three days of the injections.

In addition, two days post-vaccination shows a 69-fold increase in deaths compared to baseline expectations.

The findings were confirmed in six separate peer-reviewed studies.

Dr. Paul Thomas, a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, highlighted the findings during a recent interview with Children’s Health Defense, the nonprofit founded by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“These vaccines are killing infants,” said Thomas, the author of Vax Facts.

“You took a healthy baby into the office, and they got a series of vaccines, and then you find them dead.

“The most deaths happen on the first day [post-vaccination] – Day zero.

“Then the next most common death day is day two. And then day three.”

“In my book, Vax Facts, the chapter on SIDS makes it really clear,” Thomas notes.

“If you look at the six studies that were well done that compared infant death to when they got their vaccines, and in the infant period, the TDAP is one of those really worrisome ones, 78%, if you put all six studies together, happened in the first week after the vaccine.”

In a major policy reversal, the Australian government has finally admitted that mRNA “vaccines” are more harmful to healthy young people than the COVID-19 virus itself.

In a quietly released but momentous update, the Australian government has officially reversed its Covid “vaccination” policy for children and teens.

The government is now stating that healthy individuals under 18 should not receive the mRNA injection, citing potential risks that outweigh any alleged benefit.

According to the Australian Department of Health, as of June 3, 2025:

“COVID-19 vaccine is not recommended for healthy infants, children, or adolescents who do not have medical conditions that increase their risk of severe illness.”

The advisory goes further, explaining that because of the “extremely low” risk of serious Covid illness in healthy children:

“The benefits of vaccination are not considered to outweigh the potential harms.”

The timing of Australia’s announcement is significant: it closely follows remarks by the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy confirmed the removal of the Covid shot from the CDC’s recommended schedule for healthy children and pregnant women, citing a:

“Lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children.”

While CDC data lists 38,615 deaths associated with the Covid injections since 2020, a Harvard study funded by HHS in 2010 suggested that fewer than 1% of adverse events are ever reported.

Democrat-aligned activist U.S. District Judge James Boasberg has ruled that illegal aliens deported by President Donald Trump can file legal challenges against their removals.

Boasberg, an Obama appointee, issued a sweeping order Wednesday.

The order compels the Trump administration to allow deported illegal aliens, most of whom were violent criminals and dangerous gang members, to challenge their removal in court.

“In short, the Government must facilitate the Class’s ability to seek habeas relief to contest their removal under the Act,” Boasberg wrote.

He continued by conceding that what this will look like in practice remains undecided.

The ruling stems from the administration’s use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.

The law allows the U.S. to remove foreign nationals from hostile countries.

The Alien Enemies Act had been used to deport hundreds of illegal alien criminals directly to CECOT, El Salvador’s maximum-security prison.

Many of those deported to the prison were tied to MS-13 and Tren de Aragua, two violent street gangs designated as terrorist organizations.

Boasberg openly referenced Franz Kafka’s 1925 book “The Trial” in his ruling.

The activist judge portrays the deported individuals as victims of bureaucratic injustice:

“Such was the situation into which Frengel Reyes Mota, Andry Jose Hernandez Romero, and scores of other Venezuelan noncitizens say they were plunged on March 15, 2025.”

The ruling includes Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 member who was deported to his native El Salvador.

Garcia was also known to U.S. authorities as a human trafficker and domestic abuser.

Boasberg, who previously accused the Trump administration of being in “willful disregard” of court orders, emphasized the lack of due process for those removed:

“Defendants plainly deprived these individuals of their right to seek habeas relief before their summary removal from the United States.”

While acknowledging the Trump administration might have correctly invoked the law and that some deportees might be gang members, Boasberg stated:

“But — and this is the critical point — there is simply no way to know for sure, as the CECOT Plaintiffs never had any opportunity to challenge the government’s say-so.”

Boasberg has repeatedly clashed with the administration.

The Obama-appointed judge has issued restraining orders and even demanded a deportation flight be reversed—a demand that went unmet.

His decision is likely to ignite new legal and political battles, especially as it potentially grants violent foreign nationals a path back into U.S. courtrooms.

President Donald Trump is drawing a hard line on the issue of male athletes competing in girls’ sports.

The president is now threatening “large-scale fines” and a loss of federal funding for California over the issue.

“A Biological Male competed in California Girls State Finals, WINNING BIG, despite the fact that they were warned by me not to do so,” Trump said in a post in Truth Social.

“As Governor Gavin Newscum fully understands, large-scale fines will be imposed!!!”

The threat comes after a male athlete took home multiple medals at the 2025 CIF State Girls Track and Field Championships.

As Slay News reported, AB Hernandez, a biological male claiming to be a “transgender female,” earned two state titles and a second-place finish in top-tier girls’ events.

Hernandez’s “victory” is prompting immediate backlash and renewed debate over fairness in women’s sports.

“Allowing biological men to play in women’s sports is “NOT FAIR, AND TOTALLY DEMEANING TO WOMEN AND GIRLS,” Trump posted on Truth Social last week.

Trump further stated that he ordered local authorities to bar Hernandez from competing, warning California Governor Gavin Newsom that federal education funds could be withheld if the state refused to follow through.

Despite the warning, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) allowed Hernandez to compete.

However, the CIF introduced a controversial bylaw as a compromise.

“CIF Bylaw 300.D” asserted that the real female runner-up also received a first-place medal in Hernandez’s events.

Nevertheless, the competition drew protests and media scrutiny.

Supporters praised Hernandez’s resilience, while opponents condemned the outcome as a betrayal of girls’ sports.

“It’s completely unfair to these girls,” said one protester.

“They’ve worked hard, and now they have to compete against a male.

“It’s demoralizing and wrong.”

“He has an advantage by being a male, and it’s really unfortunate that these girls, the psychological effect that it has on them and places on them, when they know they’re not only competing against people of their own sex, but now they gotta go up against a man,” the protester added.

“I think it’s really bad that we’re setting this precedent,” he finished.

Hernandez’s mother, speaking to the Los Angeles Times, expressed pride in her son following his “win” in girls’ sports.

In a major legal escalation, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division issued a statement calling CIF Bylaw 300.D unconstitutional.

The DOJ argues the policy “knowingly deprives female students of athletic opportunities and benefits on the basis of their sex,” thus violating the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Dhillon set a June 9 deadline for California public school districts to certify in writing that they will not implement Bylaw 300.D, or risk losing federal support.

The Biden-era leniency on transgender sports policies may be reaching a breaking point following Trump’s return to the White House.

Trump and federal authorities are signaling a zero-tolerance policy on what many conservatives see as ideological overreach that harms girls and undermines Title IX protections.
