Arson Attacks Against Christian Churches Surge to Alarming Levels Across Canada

.A leading expert on religious freedom in China has told Congress that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) under Xi Jinping has escalated to an unprecedented level of hostility toward Christianity and other faiths.

Bob Fu, founder of the Christian human rights organization ChinaAid, warns that Communist China is shifting from control to outright elimination.

He testified before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, warning that Beijing has now “launched a war against the faith.”

Fu said the regime has moved beyond regulating religious life and is attempting to eradicate any form of independent worship.

He described what he called several “wars” the CCP has waged since Xi took power, beginning with a campaign against public displays of Christianity.

“[T]he CCP under this dictator, Xi Jinping, has launched a war against the faith,” explained Fu.

“Instead of the old paradigm of controlling Christian churches and other independent religions in the past, now they launched the all-out war to eliminate any independent Christian churches and even … the thoughts of independence and other religious minorities as well.”

Thousands of crosses were forcibly removed from government-sanctioned churches, and pastors who resisted were arrested.

Some received sentences of 12 to 15 years.

He also detailed a sweeping crackdown on access to Scripture.

According to Fu, “millions of Chinese Christian children” were ordered to sign forms renouncing their beliefs, and Bibles were barred from children entirely.

The latest phase, he said, is a direct assault on Christian leadership.

Zion Church leaders, part of one of China’s largest unregistered congregations, were formally arrested this week and now face long prison terms.

Fu noted that authorities have begun treating core Christian practices as criminal offenses.

Several pastors have been charged and sentenced for fraud in receiving tithes and offerings.

Pastor Yang Rongli received a 15-year sentence, and her husband received nearly 10 years.

“When Xi Jinping took power, he launched three or four wars,” he said.

“[The first] war [was] against the cross and the forced demolition of the cross campaign.

“All of a sudden, the wooden cross was declared as the enemy of the state, as a national security threat.

“It really shows how fragile, actually, how fearful this militaristic, atheistic regime [is], and thousands of crosses were taken down.

“If you don’t take down the cross voluntarily — these are government-sanctioned churches — the pastors were even arrested.

“Some were sentenced to 12 to 15 years’ imprisonment.

“And then [there was] the war against the Bible, especially the access of the Bible to children,” Fu continued.

“Millions of Chinese Christian children were ordered to sign a Communist Party-prepared form to renounce their faith in public, and the Bible was totally forbidden to be in the hands of the Chinese children.

“And then, of course, the [current] war against the Christian leaders.”

Witnesses representing Muslim and Buddhist communities echoed the warnings, describing similar repression.

The testimony highlighted that the issue extends beyond human rights and poses national security concerns for the United States.

Former senator and U.S. religious freedom ambassador Sam Brownback told lawmakers that despite China’s imprisonment of Catholic bishops and thousands of other believers, Beijing “has not paid a dime” in consequence, even though the State Department has designated China a “Country of Particular Concern.”

Family members of imprisoned church leaders also described CCP intimidation efforts reaching outside China’s borders.

Grace Jin Drexel, daughter of detained Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri of Zion Church, told the commission she has experienced harassment in the United States by individuals falsely claiming to be federal agents.

Fu warned that these threats are no longer limited to Chinese territory.

He said CCP operatives have extended their activities onto U.S. soil through overseas “police stations” designed to monitor, harass, and silence dissidents.

He recounted how operatives surrounded his home in Texas in 2020, forcing his family to evacuate for months.

The commission is now weighing additional steps to address both China’s internal persecution of religious minorities and the regime’s growing willingness to target critics abroad.

An alarming report from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is raising serious ethical concerns about America’s organ transplant system after investigators confirmed cases where organ procurement began before patients were fully dead.

With more than 48,000 transplants performed in 2024, the system is now facing intense scrutiny from medical experts who warn that the nation’s organ network has drifted into dangerous territory.

Dr. Joseph Varon, president and chief medical officer of the Independent Medical Alliance, described the trend bluntly, calling it the “commodification of human life.”

While he said he remains a “very strong supporter” of ethical organ donation, he insisted that the rules governing the process have grown alarmingly lax.

Canada’s pro-euthanasia media machine has reached a new low by celebrating the “serene” state-sanctioned lethal injection as a “gift” for a centenarian.

The death lobby is no longer simply promoting “assisted suicide” for the terminally ill; it is now glamourizing the taxpayer-funded killing of the elderly as a feel-good lifestyle choice.

The latest example comes from Le Journal de Quebec, which published a glowing tribute to the euthanasia of 101-year-old Paulette Fiset-Germain.

The article opened with a disturbing line that reads more like propaganda than journalism:

“A centenarian who had lost none of her intellectual capacity is now shining in the sky after choosing medical assistance in dying on Monday.”

Fiset-Germain died on December 1 after receiving a lethal injection at the Manoir Cap-Santé seniors’ residence.

She had been living independently mere weeks earlier before suffering falls and a stroke.

Within days, the government’s socialized healthcare system arranged her death under Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) regime.

She told reporters, “I started to have trouble using the walker, I have one hand that I can’t use, the other one that I have trouble with, I can’t see one side anymore… I’m at the end.

“You know when the glass starts to spill, it’s time to do something.”

She added, “In addition, you have trouble 24 hours a day, you don’t sleep.

“We’re going to close the loop.”

Rather than raising concerns that an elderly, newly disabled woman might need support, palliative care, or meaningful human connection, the paper emphasized how “serene” she sounded, and how her family cheered her decision on.

Fiset-Germain said her children endorsed her death, stating, “My children accepted my decision because they know me, they know that I am ready for it.”

She even suggested the doctor’s approval of her killing was a present: “When the doctor agreed, I said, ‘You’re giving me a really nice gift.’”

This so-called “gift” was a lethal injection, and Canada’s media celebrated it as inspirational.

A Documentary Is Already Planned

The Journal openly revealed that her final moments will be filmed for a documentary.

In other words, more polished propaganda to normalize suicide as the enlightened choice for elderly Canadians.

Fiset-Germain even urged Canada to make euthanasia easier, claiming, “It’s too tight… We have to expand to relieve many people.”

Canada’s MAiD program is already internationally condemned for being among the most permissive in the world.

People with disabilities, depression, poverty, or chronic pain have all been approved to die.

Even the globalist United Nations has issued warnings.

But for Fiset-Germain, the problem is that not enough people qualify, a conveniently timed call as the government aggressively pushes to begin euthanizing children and the mentally ill.

The Media Treats Suicide as Spiritual Enlightenment

The article went so far as to give special treatment to her personal spiritual beliefs, a courtesy rarely extended to religious Canadians who oppose euthanasia.

She explained:

“Since I was little, I believe that when you die, you become a star.

“When you see a shooting star, it’s someone who has left and is looking for a place.”

The paper framed her death as a peaceful transition rather than what it actually was: a lethal state-administered injection for a woman who had only recently become physically impaired and discouraged.

A Friend’s Disturbing Endorsement

Her cousin and close friend, Louisette Huard, stated, “It’s a good decision.”

For most people, hearing a best friend call your suicide a “good decision” would be a sign of just how broken and dangerous this culture has become.

Thankfully, not everyone applauded.

One friend, Adelyre Goeguen, expressed genuine grief:

“I didn’t like it right away.

“It was still a shock, and I don’t accept it at all.”

That is the normal, human response.

Suicide Is Now Marketed as Compassion in Canada

Fiset-Germain’s death is just the latest in a long list of cases in which elderly, disabled, or otherwise vulnerable Canadians choose death because they are tired, lonely, or struggling, only to be praised by the media for their “courage.”

Canada legalized euthanasia in 2016 and has since expanded it relentlessly.

Over 90,000 Canadians have died under MAiD.

The government still plans to widen eligibility, including those suffering solely from mental illness.

The death lobby keeps pushing, and the media keeps sanitizing the suffering.

This isn’t compassion or dignity.

It is the systematic normalization of suicide as a social responsibility for the greater good.

And it is being sold to the public as a beautiful story, even when the victim is a 101-year-old woman who likely needed comfort, community, and proper care far more than a state-delivered lethal injection.

A Chinese biotech startup is making global headlines after claiming it has developed a pill capable of extending human life to 150 years, a bold assertion that arrives amid Beijing’s growing interest in state-backed longevity research.

Lonvi Biosciences, based in Shenzhen, says its capsule targets so-called “zombie cells,” damaged cells that accumulate with age and fuel inflammation and disease.

The company’s CEO, Ip Zhu, has framed the pill as more than another wellness fad.

A sweeping new study is turning the plant-based industry on its head after researchers found that people who follow ultra-processed vegan or plant-focused diets may face dramatically higher risks of heart disease.

For years, plant-based diets have been promoted as inherently healthier.

This message has been pushed heavily by governments, major food companies, and environmental activists.

However, researchers say the picture changes entirely once these diets rely on the highly processed packaged foods that now dominate supermarket “plant-based” shelves.

The study, published in The Lancet, followed more than 63,800 adults in France and found that the heart-health benefits associated with plant-based eating only occur when people consume whole, minimally processed foods, not fake meats, packaged salads drenched in additives, or ultra-processed “healthy” convenience meals.

Lead author Clémentine Prioux of Sorbonne University said:

“Our findings reinforce the necessity of advocating not only for a reduction in animal products but also encouraging the consumption of minimally processed plant–based foods to improve cardiovascular health.”

Instead, researchers found the opposite happening.

Heart-Disease Risk Surges 46%

Over an average follow-up of nine years, people sticking to whole-food plant-based diets were 44% less likely to develop coronary heart disease.

But those eating diets dominated by ultra-processed plant-based products saw:

• a 46% higher risk of coronary heart disease

• a 38% higher risk of cardiovascular disease overall

These individuals were more likely to consume items heavily marketed as “healthy,” such as grocery store breads, boxed pasta dishes, packaged soups, and ready-made salads full of emulsifiers, stabilizers, and industrial seed oils.

The findings align with growing research showing that people who adopt plant-based diets often replace meat with highly engineered substitutes, many of which are more processed than the foods they’re meant to replace.

Importantly, the study found that people who ate some animal products but avoided ultra-processed foods had no higher heart-disease risk than those on clean, whole-food plant-based diets.

In other words, food quality mattered more than whether the diet was plant-based or animal-based.

One of the Largest Studies of Its Kind

The massive dataset came from the French NutriNet-Santé cohort, which tracks diet, health, and lifestyle factors over time.

Participants recorded every food and drink they consumed using repeated 24-hour food-tracking logs.

The researchers cross-referenced diet reports with blood and urine biomarkers and categorized each food using the well-established NOVA processing scale.

NOVA separates foods into three key groups:

• Unprocessed or minimally processed: fruits, vegetables, grains, fresh meats, fish

• Processed: cheese, canned vegetables, freshly baked bread

• Ultra-processed: industrial formulations with additives, emulsifiers, flavorings, preservatives

Ultra-processed foods are typically high in sugar, salt, seed oils, and calories, while being stripped of fiber and micronutrients.

According to the study, ultra-processed plant-based diets delivered the worst outcomes of all, nearly a 40% rise in heart-disease risk.

A Serious Warning for the West

The researchers noted the findings may be especially relevant to Western nations, where the market is saturated with processed plant-based products.

Previous studies show Americans consume roughly twice as many ultra-processed plant-based foods as people in several European countries.

At the same time, data shows heart attacks are rising in younger adults, with the sharpest increase, 95%, among those aged 25 to 29.

Experts say poor diet, obesity, and heavy intake of processed foods are key contributors.

While the study highlighted that ultra-processed animal-based foods carry an even higher risk, the bottom line is clear that once a diet becomes ultra-processed, the “plant-based” label does not make it healthy.

Researchers concluded:

“Taken together, these results highlight the importance of considering three dimensions of diet for cardiovascular prevention – the balance between plant– and animal–based foods, nutritional quality and degree of processing.”

The findings add to mounting evidence that the modern food system, not meat, not dairy, not plants, is the main driver of today’s food-related cardiovascular epidemic.

The long-sealed Jeffrey Epstein files have finally begun to spill into public view, and the first wave is already sending shockwaves through Washington, D.C.

According to sources familiar with Friday’s historic release, more than a dozen politically exposed individuals and government officials appear by name across hundreds of thousands of pages the Department of Justice was legally forced to hand over under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

In a letter to Congress, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed a far darker picture than previously acknowledged after the DOJ identified more than 1,200 victims and family members during its internal review.

The staggering figure underscores just how deep Epstein’s network and operations extended.

The new tranche also includes fresh photographs of Epstein with former President Bill Clinton, now publicly available through the DOJ’s online portal.

And despite widespread speculation that the DOJ might attempt to shield powerful figures, Blanche publicly undercut those rumors.

“The Justice Department is not redacting the names of any politicians,” Blanche said in a statement.

“The only redactions being applied to the documents are those required by law — full stop.”

He emphasized: “There are no redactions of famous people.”

The only exceptions, he said, are the names and identifying details of victims.

DOJ Letter Confirms Massive Scope of the Release

In a detailed letter to the House of Representatives, Blanche outlined what he called an “unprecedented disclosure” under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi.

“Never in American history has a President or the Department of Justice been this transparent with the American people about such a sensitive law enforcement matter,” Blanche wrote, adding that past Democrat administrations “refused to provide full details of the Jeffrey Epstein saga.”

Blanche said the DOJ not only met the 30-day deadline mandated by President Trump’s law, but also uncovered information that had never been publicly acknowledged.

“This process resulted in over 1,200 names being identified as victims or their relatives,” he wrote.

“We have redacted reference to such names.”

The DOJ is releasing:

• All unclassified records related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell

• Flight logs, travel manifests, and transportation records

• Files referencing government officials and other individuals tied to Epstein’s activities

• Records involving immunity deals, non-prosecution agreements, and sealed settlements

• Internal DOJ communications about decisions to charge, or not charge, Epstein and his associates

• Documentation surrounding Epstein’s detention and death, including autopsy materials

• All communication regarding the destruction or concealment of evidence

Blanche also confirmed that new court rulings in New York and Florida forced the DOJ to unseal additional material previously protected by secrecy laws.

Review Conducted by 200 DOJ Attorneys

The scale of the review process was enormous.

More than 200 DOJ attorneys conducted multi-layer evaluations of every document, email, memo, and audio file.

A separate quality-control team then checked each file again to ensure victims’ names were protected, and only victims’ names.

Assistant U.S. attorneys from the Southern District of New York conducted yet another round of review.

The DOJ expects to complete additional waves of document publication over the next several weeks.

No Evidence Epstein Blackmailed Prominent Individuals, DOJ Claims

Blanche said that prior to the Transparency Act’s passage, the DOJ conducted a comprehensive pre-review and claimed it “did not reveal credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.”

But the public release, including long-hidden correspondence, travel logs, immunity deals, and communications surrounding evidence destruction, is already raising questions about whether earlier DOJ leadership aggressively avoided scrutiny of Epstein’s political ties.

More disclosures are coming.

And now, for the first time, the American public, not federal gatekeepers, will get to judge the extent of Epstein’s network.

Elon Musk has just crossed an unprecedented financial threshold, becoming the first individual in recorded history to exceed a $700 billion net worth.

The surge came after the Delaware Supreme Court reinstated a massive Tesla compensation package earlier this week.

A lower court had voided the deal last year.

According to the Forbes billionaires index, Musk’s fortune jumped to roughly $749 billion after the ruling restored Tesla stock options currently valued at about $139 billion.

The decision reverses a January 2024 judgment that struck down Musk’s 2018 incentive plan on grounds the Chancery Court now stands accused of mishandling.

The milestone caps a remarkable week for Musk, whose net worth had already briefly passed $600 billion amid reports that his aerospace company, SpaceX, may pursue an initial public offering.

With the restored compensation package factored in, Musk now sits nearly $500 billion ahead of Google co-founder Larry Page, according to Forbes’ estimates.

Delaware Supreme Court Rebukes Lower Court, Restores Pay Plan

In a 49-page opinion, the Delaware Supreme Court ruled that Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick’s January 2024 decision improperly rescinded Musk’s pay package and “treated him inequitably,” identifying what it described as significant analytical and procedural errors.

The high court reinstated the 2018 compensation plan in full and awarded Tesla nominal damages of $1.

McCormick had concluded last year that Tesla’s board was improperly influenced by Musk and that shareholders lacked adequate disclosures at the time of the vote.

She cited close personal and business ties between Musk and members of the compensation committee and said the plan lacked meaningful negotiation.

The Supreme Court disagreed, saying the Chancery Court overstated those concerns and failed to give proper weight to subsequent shareholder actions, including a second, later vote affirming Musk’s compensation plan.

Shareholders Reaffirmed Musk’s Compensation, Even Expanded It

The long-running litigation began with a 2019 lawsuit filed by Tesla shareholder Richard Tornetta.

Despite the challenge, Tesla shareholders in 2024 voted to reaffirm Musk’s pay package, then valued at roughly $44.9 billion.

In November, they went even further, approving a new compensation structure reportedly capable of reaching $1 trillion, the largest corporate pay framework ever proposed.

Investors have repeatedly signaled that they view Musk as essential to Tesla’s transformation from an electric vehicle manufacturer into an AI and robotics leader.

After 2024 Court Loss, Musk Pulled Tesla Out of Delaware

The legal fight also carried major corporate implications.

After McCormick’s ruling voided the package in early 2024, Musk condemned Delaware’s legal environment and initiated the move of Tesla’s state of incorporation to Texas.

“Change your state of incorporation out of Delaware before they lock the doors,” Musk wrote on X at the time.

He later urged companies to incorporate in Texas or Nevada if they wanted shareholders, not courts, to determine executive compensation.

Musk’s Expanding Empire

Musk owns roughly 12 percent of Tesla, which he first backed in 2004 and has led as CEO since 2008.

He also controls an estimated 42 percent of SpaceX, which reached a valuation of about $800 billion during a private tender offer in December 2025.

According to negotiators, the turning point came as U.S. officials concluded that Britain intended to apply its speech-restriction regime to American platforms and AI models operating outside the U.K.

One participant in the talks summarized Washington’s frustration bluntly, telling The Telegraph:

“Americans went into this deal thinking Britain was going to back off regulating American tech firms, but realized it was going to restrict the speech of American chatbots.”

At the center of the dispute is the U.K.’s Online Safety Act, a law empowering the British communications regulator Ofcom to fine companies it judges to be enabling “harmful” or “hateful” speech.

Under the plan, schools will be turned into front-line surveillance hubs tasked with monitoring boys for “signs of misogyny,” sending those flagged as “high risk” into behavior-reeducation programs.

Teachers will undergo mandatory ideological training as part of what officials describe as a national crusade to “change culture.”

According to the BBC, the measures, part of a strategy to halve violence against women and girls (VAWG), will give schools new powers and directives to “spot and tackle misogyny in the classroom” and stamp put so-called “toxic ideas.”

Safeguarding minister Jess Phillips framed the initiative as an emergency-level cultural intervention.

Calling violence against women and girls a “national emergency,” she declared the government’s objective is to be “so ambitious that we change culture.”

“What definitely does not exist yet, [is] if teachers are seeing signs of sexually harmful behaviour or are worried about the attitude of pupils with regard to misogyny… teachers currently don’t have anywhere specialist or targeted to send those pupils,” Phillips told BBC Radio 4.

Under the £20 million, three-year program:

• Teachers will be trained to “spot and challenge misogyny,” teach consent, warn against sharing intimate images, promote approved “positive role models,” and correct “harmful myths.”

• Schools will refer flagged boys to behavioral intervention courses designed specifically to reshape their attitudes toward women and girls.

• The Department for Education will embed these mandates into statutory guidance, instructing schools that pupils “should be equipped to recognise misogyny” and its alleged connection to violence.

The rollout comes amid mounting public backlash to Britain’s ongoing problems with mass migration, assimilation failures, and speech regulation.

Yet the government’s new focus overwhelmingly targets native-born boys, even as serious sexual violence cases involving migrant offenders continue to surface across Europe.

Critics note that while general relationship-education classes already exist, this program explicitly directs teachers to single out “problem boys,” a system ripe for ideological abuse.

Few expect progressive educators to apply the same scrutiny to minority students, despite the demographic patterns involved in previous high-profile grooming cases.

Officials and media outlets have cited alarming statistics to justify the new initiative, including a claim from the charity “Reducing the Risk” that nearly 40 percent of teenagers experience abuse in relationships.

But the underlying Youth Endowment Fund report reveals that most of this “abuse” falls under vague or trivial categories, such as checking a partner’s phone or making a critical comment.

The report itself finds that only 4 percent of teens report physical or sexual abuse.

Nevertheless, the government is launching reeducation programs with the same urgency typically reserved for counterterrorism operations and conveniently timed alongside a new Netflix series, “Adolescence,” which portrays a fictional white British boy murdering a female classmate after consuming online “manosphere” content.

Public information campaigns funded by the government and major NGOs almost exclusively depict white male perpetrators, despite the well-documented role of foreign-born or second-generation offenders in many real-world cases.

“Every parent should be able to trust that their daughter is safe at school, online, and in her relationships, but too often, toxic ideas are taking hold early and going unchallenged.

Yet the government is not announcing parallel programs to address female-perpetrated abuse, even though the same surveys include female respondents, nor is it addressing ideological systems, such as extremist interpretations within certain migrant communities, that openly institutionalize gender inequality.

Instead, officials are constructing a framework that treats masculinity itself, especially traditional or conservative expressions of it, as a public-safety threat requiring state supervision.

The result is an environment where British boys grow up branded with yet another “original sin,” while the failures that enabled grooming-gang scandals for decades remain untouched.

The policy amounts to cultural reengineering targeted at the country’s own sons, even as the government continues to avert its gaze from the predators it once shielded to avoid political controversy.

And while victims wait for meaningful accountability, the British establishment appears more eager to police thought in classrooms than confront its own failures, or the ideological systems that enabled some of the most serious abuse in modern UK history.
