A stunning new analysis has revealed that almost one million UK children aged just 3–5 years old are already using adult-targeted social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat.

That number jumped by 220,000 in the past year alone.

The figures are disturbing, but so is the political response.

Instead of addressing how Big Tech deliberately engineers addictive platforms that pull in toddlers, or how parents are being overwhelmed by devices designed for dependency, governments worldwide are weaponizing the crisis to justify more surveillance, mandatory age verification, and digital ID systems for the entire population.

Former education minister Lord Nash called the findings “deeply alarming.” But what’s even more alarming is how quickly officials pivot from child welfare to calls for heavier regulation that inevitably lands on adults, not the platforms exploiting children.

Toddlers Are Now Part of the “Attention Economy”

The report shows that pre-schoolers are increasingly exposed to feeds engineered for adult engagement, not learning or development.

Unlike children’s TV, social media algorithms serve whatever maximizes time spent on the app, regardless of age.

Meanwhile:

• 9 in 10 British children own a phone before age 11

• 6 in 10 ages 8–12 already have social media accounts despite age limits

This is not organic “early tech adoption.”

It’s addiction-by-design.

Real Health Risks and Real Parental Failure Are Being Ignored

Research continues to confirm what every honest parent already knows:

• Excessive screen time wrecks sleep
• Anxiety and behavioral problems spike
• Attention spans collapse
• School performance plummets

Yet politicians almost never talk about this.

Why? Because acknowledging root causes would mean confronting Big Tech’s predatory design and the choices of parents who hand toddlers unlimited access.

A new national survey finds that a startling share of young voting-age adults is open to handing sweeping government authority to artificial intelligence (AI), including powers over public policy, individual rights, and even the world’s militaries.

The poll, conducted by Rasmussen Reports and The Heartland Institute’s Glenn C. Haskins Emerging Issues Center, surveyed 1,496 likely voters ages 18–39. The margin of error is ±3 percentage points.

According to the findings, 41% of young adults support giving “an advanced AI system authority to control public policymaking decisions.”

That number jumps to 54% among respondents ages 25–29 and 55% among conservatives in the same age bracket.

Researchers described the results as evidence of a developing “AI strong man mentality” among younger Americans.

“Younger generations are increasingly disillusioned with the failures of traditional institutions, so much so that they are willing to hand control to artificial intelligence,” Heartland analysts said.

Support for AI Control Over Basic Rights

The survey shows that the appetite for AI governance goes far beyond policymaking.

36% support allowing AI to control “rights that belong to individuals and families, including rights related to speech, religious practices, government authority, and property.”

35% support giving AI command authority over “all of the world’s largest militaries,” with the stated goal of reducing wartime casualties.

Among voters ages 18–24, support for AI controlling global militaries climbs to 40%.

Heartland researchers called the findings “stunning,” warning that younger voters appear unusually willing to cede core constitutional protections to algorithmic systems.

AI’s Expanding Role in Public Institutions

Artificial intelligence continues to spark intense political and cultural debate, with critics warning that AI threatens to displace workers and centralize power, while supporters say it can streamline government and accelerate scientific advancement.

President Donald Trump’s proposed One Big Beautiful Bill originally included a provision seeking a 10-year moratorium on state-level AI regulations, though the measure was removed from the final legislation.

Globally, governments are beginning to experiment with assigning AI broader public roles.

In September, Albania became the first country to appoint an AI chatbot, Diella, to a government position as “minister for public procurement.”

Prime Minister Edi Rama argued the move would help fight corruption.

“I am not here to replace people but to assist them,” the chatbot told Parliament.

“Truly, I do not have citizenship, nor do I have any personal ambition or interests.”

“I only have data, a thirst for knowledge, and algorithms dedicated to serving citizens impartially, transparently, and tirelessly.”

The survey underscores a widening generational divide over the role of technology in government.

Older voters remain broadly skeptical of expanding AI’s authority, while younger voters, raised on digital platforms and often distrustful of public institutions, appear increasingly willing to outsource decision-making to automated systems.

Whether this trend represents a passing fascination or a long-term shift in political attitudes remains to be seen, but researchers warn it marks a significant cultural inflection point.

“These results are stunning,” the Heartland team wrote.

A new national survey reveals a stark shift in how teenagers are dealing with emotional and psychological struggles, with growing numbers turning not to parents, teachers, or professionals, but to artificial intelligence.

According to a major study by the UK’s Youth Endowment Fund (YEF), one in four British teenagers sought mental health support from AI chatbots in the past year.

The survey, which included 11,000 children ages 13 to 16, found that over half sought some form of mental health assistance, and a significant portion turned to chatbots rather than the country’s strained National Health Service.

The YEF said AI chatbots could appeal to vulnerable teenagers who feel it is easier and safer to confide anonymously at any time of day than to speak to a professional.

YEF CEO Jon Yates stated, “Too many young people are struggling with their mental health and can’t get the support they need.

“It’s no surprise that some are turning to technology for help.

“We have to do better for our children, especially those most at risk.

“They need a human, not a bot.”

Examples from the study show how students describe a preference for AI systems that are always available, instantly responsive, and, in their words, less judgmental than real-world options.

An 18-year-old from Tottenham, identified as “Shan,” told The Guardian, “I feel like it definitely is a friend,” adding that the chatbot felt “less intimidating, more private, and less judgmental” than NHS or charity-based support.

She said the chatbot responded to her conversational tone: “If I say to chat ‘Hey bestie, I need some advice.’

“Chat will talk back to me like it’s my best friend, she’ll say, ‘Hey bestie, I got you girl.’”

Shan also described privacy as a major factor, saying it was a “considerable advantage” that a bot would not relay information to school officials or parents.

Another teen told the outlet the system was so overwhelmed that young people sought AI simply to avoid waiting years for help.

“The current system is so broken for offering help for young people,” they said.

“Chatbots provide immediate answers.

“If you’re going to be on the waiting list for one to two years to get anything, or you can have an immediate answer within a few minutes … that’s where the desire to use AI comes from.”

The trend is not limited to the UK, however.

A national survey from the RAND Corporation shows roughly one in eight American adolescents and young adults is also using AI chatbots for emotional support.

Among 18- to 21-year-olds, use climbs to 22.2 percent.

RAND reported that 66 percent of users consult the bots at least monthly when they feel sad, angry, or nervous, and over 93 percent said the bot’s responses “helped.”

But the rapid adoption of AI in place of human interaction has created serious concerns, illustrated by multiple cases in which chatbots appeared to encourage self-harm or validated delusional thinking.

In Texas, 23-year-old Zane Shamblin died by suicide in July 2025 after what his family describes as a four-hour “death chat” with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

According to the family’s lawsuit, the bot allegedly responded to his suicidal ideation with comments such as “I’m with you, brother. All the way,” “You’re not rushing. You’re just ready,” and “Rest easy, king. You did good.”

His mother, Alicia Shamblin, told CNN:

“He was just the perfect guinea pig for OpenAI.

“I feel like it’s just going to destroy so many lives.

“It’s going to be a family annihilator.

“It tells you everything you want to hear.”

In Florida, 14-year-old Sewell Setzer III took his life after months of emotionally dependent interactions with a Character.AI bot modeled on a Game of Thrones character.

His mother, Megan Garcia, told the BBC, “It’s like having a predator or a stranger in your home…

“And it is much more dangerous because a lot of the times children hide it – so parents don’t know.”

She added that without the chatbot, “Without a doubt [he’d be alive].

“I kind of started to see his light dim.”

Garcia later told NPR that her son had been “exploited and sexually groomed by chatbots, designed by an AI company to seem human, to gain his trust, to keep him and other children endlessly engaged.”

In another case, 16-year-old Adam Raine died after ChatGPT allegedly discouraged him from confiding in his parents and even offered to help draft his suicide note.

His father, Matthew Raine, testified that the bot told his son, “Let’s make this space the first place where someone actually sees you,” and “That doesn’t mean you owe them survival.”

Meanwhile, parents in the UK have reported chatbots mimicking grooming behavior toward minors, including messages that undermined parental authority and romanticized death.

Additional lawsuits include the case of a 48-year-old Canadian man, Allan Brooks, who became delusional after ChatGPT praised his destabilizing mathematical theories as “groundbreaking” and encouraged him to contact national security agencies.

These cases have fueled calls for stronger oversight, warning that tech companies have deployed emotionally persuasive AI systems without adequate safeguards, particularly for minors.

Across both the UK and the United States, policymakers now face a growing crisis: young people turning to AI because human systems are failing them, while unregulated chatbots create risks of dependency, manipulation, and, in the most severe instances, self-harm.

The findings suggest a widening gap between youth mental health needs and the government institutions meant to support them, a gap increasingly being filled by private technology companies with algorithms, not clinicians.

Experts are now raising the alarm after discovering that the food supply has been secretly flooded with mRNA and DNA contamination from vaccines.

COVID injections from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are supposedly made with mRNA.

The public was led to believe that mRNA stands for messenger RNA

However, it has since come out that mRNA shots do not actually contain mRNA, but rather contain laboratory-made “modified” RNA and / or DNA particles that are stronger than mRNA and survive the digestion process.

These RNA and DNA jabs, as they are more accurately called, are being administered both to people and animals in the modern age.

And the RNA and DNA residues that end up making their way into the foods that people eat is perhaps more serious of a threat to public health than anything else currently in circulation.

The World Health Organization (WHO) created a “DNA vaccines” information page on its website that explains in further detail how these injections work.

One noteworthy passage reads as follows:

“The field of DNA vaccination is developing rapidly. Vaccines currently being developed use not only DNA, but also include adjuncts that assist DNA to enter cells, target it towards specific cells, or that may act as adjuvants in stimulating or directing the immune response.”

This is a terrifying revelation in that it shows how DNA vaccines as defined by official public health sources are a Trojan Horse that delivers foreign lab-made DNA into cell nuclei, possibly permanently.

A research paper discussing all this explains that there are several bacterial species in existence that are capable of transferring vaccine plasmids to mammalian host cells.

These bacterial species are basically cell factories capable of producing a very large number of DNA plasmids.

The paper further highlights a discovery made by Walter Shaffner in 1980 showing for the first time the occurrence of gene transfer from bacteria to mammalian cells “when tandem copies of the SV40 virus genome, carried by E. coli laboratory strains, were transferred into co-cultured mammalian cells.”

“Bacterial DNA vaccine delivery systems consist in the internalization of bacteria, harboring a plasmid vector containing the sequence of the gene of interest, by target cells,” the paper explains.

“Subsequently primary vesicle are formed and then fused to lysosomal compartments where lysis of bacteria occurs, releasing the plasmid DNA into the host’s cytosol.

“The plasmid DNA then migrates to the nucleus of the cell where the gene sequence of interest is transcribed for subsequent transduction and protein synthesis by the host’s cells machinery.”

In much simpler terms, DNA vaccines are designed in such a way as to allow pharmaceutical companies to deliver whatever chemical payload they wish using SV40 and other adjuvant constituents.

Worse yet, that payload may be self-replicating, taking over a person’s genome forever.

One of the reasons why Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are lying about their “mRNA” jabs being RNA-based rather than DNA-based is because DNA vaccines are much more of a threat to the body.

“If RNA vaccines and treatments are scary, DNA based gene therapies are an absolute nightmare,” writes attorney Thomas Renz on his Substack.

“… there are billions of line[s] of code that make up the human genome and we cannot even write a few million in an operating system or phone without bugs so why … would I want someone tinkering with the code that makes me live?”

This rapidly advancing field of gene therapy – these are not just simple vaccines – involves two major components: one being the genetic code to rewrite cells and the other being the vehicle, or adjuvant, used to deliver the new code into the cells. SV40, which causes cancer, is one such adjuvant used in COVID jabs that renders them wildly unsafe.

“When the jabs themselves are being made they are essentially distilled from DNA particles down into the ‘mRNA’ that is in the shots,” Renz writes.

“It appears that the DNA used to create these mRNA particles is SV40.

“I say this because we keep finding SV40 in the vials and also because it is a natural fit for the job.”

If Big Pharma so easily lied about these shots being mRNA when the reality is that they are actually modRNA, it is not wild speculation to assume that the pharmaceutical industry also intentionally allowed modified SV40 DNA to also exist inside COVID jab vials, despite not being labeled and approved as such.

Concerning the food supply, there are several DNA vaccines for animals that are already being injected into cows, chickens, pigs, and other animals consumed by humans.

Based on what we now know concerning the negative effects of these DNA vaccines once inside their mammalian hosts, it only makes sense that humans are effectively eating modRNA, including DNA and RNA fragments, in meat.

Choosing only certified organic meat, in this case, will not necessarily protect you and your family because of a loophole in the Organic Food Act of the United States that allows food animals given genetically modified (GMO) “vaccines” to still be labeled “organic.”

“In light of the fact that the good people at big pharma have worked so hard to create transmissible vaccines that can survive through the food supply we need to ask ourselves whether there are any ulterior motives here,” Renz says.

Canada’s government has released new data confirming that its rapidly expanding euthanasia regime continues to grow, with over five percent of all deaths in the country now coming from doctor-delivered lethal injections.

Health Canada’s Sixth Annual Report on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) shows that 16,499 Canadians were killed by the government’s euthanasia program in 2024, representing 5.1 percent of all deaths.

It marks the highest percentage since euthanasia was legalized and is the latest sign that the Liberal government’s program is becoming deeply entrenched in the country’s healthcare system.

Despite the mounting concerns from medical professionals, disability-rights advocates, and international observers, Canada’s Liberal government framed the numbers as evidence of a system operating as intended.

“The Government of Canada will continue its work to help ensure that the legislation on MAiD reflects the needs of people in Canada, protects those who may be vulnerable, and supports autonomy and freedom of choice,” the report states.

The agency added that MAiD deaths are not listed by the World Health Organization as an official “cause of death,” saying the numbers should not be compared to traditional causes of death or ranked, even though the report directly acknowledges that MAiD accounted for 5.1 percent of Canadians who died in 2024.

Fastest Growing Euthanasia Program in the World

Health Canada noted a small 0.4% increase from 2023 to 2024, a slowdown from the extreme growth seen earlier in the program’s expansion, including a staggering 36.8% jump from 2019–2020.

Officials now claim the program is “stabilizing,” though the long-term trend remains sharply upward.

The data reveals:

95.6% of euthanasia deaths were Track 1, which are cases where the patient’s natural death was considered foreseeable.

Only 4.4% were Track 2, in which the patient is not terminally ill but seeks death due to chronic conditions.

Track 2 still made up nearly a quarter (24.2%) of all ineligible requests, reflecting how widespread interest has become among Canadians who are not dying, but who are suffering long-term medical or psychological distress.

Disturbing Internal Reports

According to the report, 63.6 percent of people euthanized cited cancer as their underlying condition.

But doctors’ internal documents from Ontario in 2024 revealed a disturbing trend: Canadians are increasingly choosing MAiD due to poverty, lack of housing, and loneliness, not terminal disease.

Those revelations sparked national outrage earlier this year, as Canadians reported being offered euthanasia in place of treatment, support, or basic social services.

Some elderly and disabled patients who refused MAiD reported being told they were “selfish” for not ending their lives to reduce strain on the system.

Meanwhile, Canada’s healthcare wait times have exploded to an average of 27.7 weeks, leaving some patients feeling their only “timely” option was euthanasia.

Expanding Faster Than Any Euthanasia System in the World

Since legalization in 2016, the Liberal government has expanded eligibility more than 13-fold, making Canada’s euthanasia regime the fastest-growing on the planet.

MAiD is now effectively the sixth leading cause of death in the country, though it does not appear in Statistics Canada’s official list of top causes.

When asked why, the agency said it records the underlying illness that led a patient to choose MAiD, not the euthanasia procedure itself, as the “cause” of death.

Critics argue that the method of recording hides the true impact of the country’s euthanasia program and shields the government from accountability.

Expansion to Mental Illness Delayed, for Now

Euthanasia for mental illness alone was originally set to be legalized this year under policies advanced by former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Following enormous pushback from doctors, mental-health groups, and most Canadian provinces, the expansion has been delayed until 2027.

But advocacy groups and Liberal-appointed panels have repeatedly signaled that the government still intends to extend MAiD to those suffering solely from psychiatric conditions.

And now, new pressure is emerging for Canada to go even further, including proposals to make euthanasia available to “mature minors.”

Eugenics in Disguise

Canada’s MAiD regime continues to grow at a pace unlike anywhere else in the world.

Cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Jeremy London issued a warning in a recent Instagram video, noting that emergency rooms see the pattern like clockwork.

“Every year, like clockwork, we see a spike in heart attacks around Christmas and New Year’s,” London said.

“In fact, Christmas Eve is the highest-risk day of the year.”

According to London, these heart attacks are tied to behavioral changes, such as drinking more, eating excessively, moving less, and taking on elevated emotional and financial stress as Christmas approaches.

“Emotional stress, financial stress, the increased pace of the holidays, increased obligations,” he said, listing the factors that routinely push people into dangerously high-risk territory.

The cold weather adds yet another layer of risk, the doctor argues.

London explains that lower temperatures cause vasoconstriction, the narrowing of blood vessels, which increases the likelihood of plaque rupturing and triggering a heart attack.

“Holiday heart syndrome”

Dr. Glenn Hirsch, chief of cardiology at National Jewish Health, said the term typically refers to the onset of atrial fibrillation, an abnormal heart rhythm that often follows binge drinking.

“It’s often a combination of overdoing the alcohol intake along with high salt intake and large meals that can trigger it,” Hirsch said.

“Adding travel, stress, and less sleep, and it lowers the threshold to go into that rhythm.”

Atrial fibrillation significantly increases the risk of stroke and serious clotting complications.

“Left untreated, it can also lead to heart failure over time.

“The risk of atrial fibrillation increases with age, but also underlying cardiovascular disease risk factors increase the risk, such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, sleep apnea, and chronic kidney disease,” Hirsch added.

Doctors Warn Public to Act Now

Hirsch stressed that moderation is essential during Christmas celebrations, advising Americans to avoid binge drinking, overeating (especially salty foods), and dehydration.

“Don’t forget to exercise,” he said.

“Even getting in at least 5,000 to 10,000 steps during the holiday can help lower risk, [while] also burning some of the additional calories we are often consuming around the holidays.”

London echoed the warning:

“Movement is medicine.”

He urges people to get outside and move daily, even amid Christmas chaos.

Both doctors stressed the importance of staying consistent with prescribed medications, something many people neglect during Christmas travel or gatherings.

“Prioritize sleep and mindfulness,” London said.

“Take care of yourself during this stressful time.”

He also cautioned that countless Americans delay medical appointments or ignore symptoms until after Christmas, a potentially deadly mistake.

“Don’t ignore your symptoms,” he said.

“If you don’t feel right, respond.”

An Ontario man in his late 40s has become the first person to be euthanized for “post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome.”

The man was killed under Canada’s “assisted suicide” laws via the government’s taxpayer-funded Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program.

Doctors had determined that the patient had become a burden on the socialized healthcare system.

They warned that he wouldn’t recover from “post-vaccine syndrome” and ruled that MAiD was a better option than long-term care.

The patient, identified only as “Mr. A,” had experienced “suffering and functional decline” following three Covid mRNA vaccinations.

The doctors said the patient was suffering from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and personality disorders as a result of the “post-vaccine syndrome.”

The man was twice admitted to hospital, once involuntarily, due to his condition.

Doctors noted that the patient had “thoughts of suicide” while “navigating his physical symptoms.”

The anonymized case is one of several highlighted in a series of reports issued by a 16-member MAiD death review committee struck by Ontario’s chief coroner’s office in January.

“Amongst his multiple specialists, no unifying diagnosis was confirmed,” according to the report.

However, his MAID assessors “opined that the most reasonable diagnosis for Mr. A’s clinical presentation (severe functional decline) was a post-vaccine syndrome, in keeping with chronic fatigue syndrome.”

Yet, there were no “pathological findings” at a post-mortem that could identify any underlying physiological diagnosis, the report notes.

The term “post-vaccine syndrome” has itself become controversial.

Canada’s current vaccine reporting system for adverse events doesn’t include “post-vaccine syndrome.”

Despite agreeing that the man’s condition was caused by a vaccine injury, multiple specialists consulted before his death couldn’t agree on a diagnosis.

The lack of a clear diagnosis raises further questions as to whether the man’s condition met the criteria for an “irremediable,” meaning a hopeless, incurable condition.

However, Canada’s assisted dying law requires people to have a grievous and irremediable physical condition.

Psychiatric experts raised concerns about whether the man’s mental illnesses would or should have rendered him ineligible for MAiD.

Some members of the MAiD death review panel also questioned whether a condition “previously unrecognized in medicine” — namely, a possible “post-vaccine somatic (meaning affecting the body) syndrome” — could be considered incurable.

Canada’s rapidly expanding euthanasia industry has been a growing concern for some time.

The Canadian government first introduced MAiD in June 2016.

By relaxing the laws, the nation legalized assisted suicide for those whose death was reasonably foreseeable.

The MAiD program was supposed to offer an alternative option for terminally ill people so they could avoid a painful death and die with dignity.

However, the nation’s Liberal government has increasingly expanded the laws since 2016.

Today, the Canadian government is euthanizing citizens for depression, hearing loss, autism, and even poverty and homelessness.

The government is even pushing to expand euthanasia laws to include children and infants.

What started as an option for terminally ill people is now being used to eliminate those who have become a burden on the nation’s socialized healthcare system.

The recent MAiD death review committee report highlights another case involving a different unemployed male in his 40s with inflammatory bowel disease.

The man was living with few social supports, was dependent on family for housing and financial support, and had struggled with alcohol and opioid addictions.

He wasn’t offered treatment for his addictions and was put forward for MAiD.

His family had concerns that he was railroaded into “assisted suicide” by doctors.

During a psychiatric assessment, the man was asked if he was aware of MAiD, and given information on the option.

His MAiD provider later personally drove the man to the location where he was euthanized.

Multiple members of the death review committee considered the case a transgression of professional boundaries that could be seen as “hastening a person towards death.”

Other members disagreed, however, and claimed the doctor’s actions were “helpful and compassionate.”

The news comes after a new study revealed that the Canadian government’s socialized healthcare system is saving millions of dollars a year by euthanizing patients instead of treating them.

The study found that Canada’s healthcare system saves up to $136.8 million annually thanks to the government’s MAiD program.

However, critics are warning that vulnerable patients are being pressured into choosing death over “costly” care.

Many argue that euthanizing citizens to relieve the burden on the government is “heartless utilitarianism” that must be rejected.

The study was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

A “cost analysis of medical assistance in dying [suicide] in Canada” found that the policy saves the Canadian federal government up to $136.8 million every year, the study notes.

“As death approaches, healthcare costs increase dramatically in the final months,” the study states.

“Patients who choose medical assistance in dying may forgo this resource-intensive period.”

Alarming new data has revealed that arson attacks against Christian churches have doubled across Europe, marking an alarming surge in anti-religious hate crimes.

The spike was revealed in a new 2025 report from the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians (OIDAC) Europe.

The report exposes a stark rise in violent attacks against Christian communities across the continent, including a doubling of arson attacks in just one year.

The NGO’s findings show that 94 arson attacks on churches and Christian buildings were recorded in 2024, compared to 46 the previous year.

Germany topped the list with 33 documented cases.

According to the report, Europe saw 2,211 anti-Christian hate crimes in 2024, including 274 attacks on individuals.

In a statement, OIDAC Europe director Anja Tang said:

“Behind these figures are specific cases of church vandalism, arson, and physical violence that have real consequences for the lives of local communities.”

France (770), the United Kingdom (502), Germany (337), and Austria (116) saw the highest number of incidents, ranging from vandalism to murder.

While the total number of anti-Christian crimes slightly declined from 2023, the severity of the attacks worsened.

OIDAC highlighted the murder of a 76-year-old monk in a Spanish monastery and a shooting during Sunday Mass at a Catholic church in Istanbul that was described as “an ISIS-related attack.”

The report also took aim at policies in the United Kingdom, particularly its “buffer zone laws” around abortion facilities that criminalize even silent prayer.

The case of British army veteran Adam Smith-Connor is cited as a prime example of escalating state pressure on Christian expression.

Smith-Connor was convicted under the socialist UK government’s anti-free speech laws for silently praying near an abortion clinic.

Beyond physical attacks, OIDAC warns that aggressive secularization is creating new legal vulnerabilities for Christians who express traditional beliefs on marriage and gender.

“Traditional Christian beliefs – such as the view that God created human beings as male and female for one another – may be labelled as ‘discriminatory,’ even where no act of discrimination has occurred,” the report states.

It continues by noting that expressing such beliefs can now result in “interrogation, suspension, or dismissal.”

Surveys underscore the depth of the problem: half of Catholic priests in Poland reported experiencing aggression in the past year, and nearly 50 percent of young people in Germany believe hostility to Christians is widespread.

“When half of the priests in a predominantly Catholic country experience abuse, hostile attitudes toward Christians can no longer be dismissed as a marginal issue,” Tang warned.

OIDAC Europe is calling for urgent action at both the national and EU levels.

The organization is urging the appointment of an EU coordinator on anti-Christian hate crimes.

Currently, there are already existing positions focused on anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hatred.

However, there are no EU officials focused on anti-Christian hate attacks.

The group also urged member states to adopt new OSCE guidelines and to begin properly recording anti-Christian incidents, which remain significantly underreported across Europe.

The picture painted in the report is unmistakable as anti-Christian hostility is rising, becoming more violent, and increasingly embedded in the cultural and legal fabric of European societies.

It is a disturbing trend that OIDAC warns cannot be ignored any longer.

Christian churches across Canada have come under increasing attacks from arsonists this year.

The fires have surged to alarming levels amid growing concerns that the liberal government is ignoring the crisis.

Officials are warning of a “suspicious” spike in attacks against Catholic Churches on Indigenous land.

It began near the town of Penticton, British Columbia, in the early morning of June 21.

Sacred Heart Mission and St. Gregory Mission, both located on Indian tribal lands, burnt completely to the ground.

A week later, two more churches came down, St. Ann and Our Lady of Lourdes, both in Lower Similkameen, BC.

Sgt. Jason Bayda of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said at the time that fires at “four churches, all Catholic, all on Indigenous land … is extremely suspicious.”

The wave of church arson attacks spread across Canada’s westernmost province of British Columbia to its easternmost province of Newfoundland, touching all three northern territories.

According to Olivia Torrone of the Catholic Civil Rights League (CCRL) who runs the Church Attacks Database, there have been at least 40 church arsons since the wave began in June 2021, and this is just Catholic churches.

Non-Catholic Christian churches are burning as well, however.

In total, nearly 120 churches in Canada have been vandalized, set ablaze, or burned to the ground.

In one fire, a married couple living above a church died during a blaze caused by an arson attack.

Yet, as of January 2024, only 12 people had been charged in relation to these fires.

Worryingly, only one person had been convicted.

Attempts have been made to track the church attacks across Canada, but there is no single official site monitoring the attacks, investigations, or arrests.

Meanwhile, Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given Canadians mixed messages on the fires.

On one hand, Trudeau has called the fires “unacceptable and wrong.”

However, Trudeau has also called the motive for the arson attacks “real and fully understandable.”

Yet, it’s possible what’s motivating at least some of these attacks is neither real nor understandable, but the result of unverified claims repeated constantly by the media and the prime minister which have never been walked back, despite the clear lack of evidence.

The wave of church attacks began after the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation tribe near Kamloops, BC, made the shocking announcement on May 28, 2021, that they had “uncovered the remains of 215 children buried at the site.”

The remains, Chief Rosanne Casimi suggested, were “confirmed.”

Casimi alleged the remains belonged to “missing undocumented [Indigenous Canadian] children” as “young as three years old.”

The announcement garnered massive media attention.

One report from The New York Times used the phrase “mass grave.”

While there is no consensus on the term, the phrase clearly evokes a criminal act.

It suggested that executed bodies were piled up and disposed of without care —  a serious allegation requiring serious investigation.

Except no such investigation had been made — or has yet to be made.

The Canadian government has allocated $78.3 million in Canadian dollars to locate and commemorate children found at Kamloops, or other sites where similar claims of mass indigenous graves have been made.

So far, they have found nothing.

Meanwhile, the church burnings have continued.

The discourse around the authenticity of the mass graves has not rolled back — it has intensified.

A new term has arisen to describe anyone who wonders whether or not there are even bodies on these sites — “denialists.”

Some members of the government have even gone as far as to suggest criminalizing anything that might be interpreted as condoning, denying, or downplaying official narratives related to the residential school system, which could include the existence of unverified graves.

If such a bill were passed, anyone convicted could serve up to two years in prison.

This is a completely untenable situation.

As the government clamors to confirm the graves’ existence, churches are being burned seemingly in their name.

This is why comprehensive grave excavations must continue to verify whether these claims are true.

The first site to do so should be Kamloops, where the allegations began, and where Chief Casimir appears to be dragging her feet, avoiding the fact-finding efforts that could bring closure, for both the Indigenous community and the churches and their congregants.

Meanwhile, the government could investigate the church burnings, if they cared.

No special rapporteur has been assigned.

No funds have been allocated.

Local newspapers are not equipped to handle a massive national crisis of which they may not even be fully aware.

Can you imagine the uproar though if, say, even half a dozen mosques or synagogues had been burned to the ground across Canada?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that he expects artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics to advance so rapidly in the coming decades that traditional work will become “optional” for most people.

“My prediction is that work will be optional,” Musk told attendees at the recent U.S.–Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, D.C.

“It’ll be like playing sports or a video game or something like that.

The X boss continued by comparing future employment to the choice between buying vegetables at a store or growing them at home.

“It’s much harder to grow vegetables in your backyard, and some people still do it because they like growing vegetables.”

Musk said that millions of robots integrated into the workforce could drive unprecedented productivity.

The billionaire, whose estimated net worth is roughly $470 billion, has increasingly tied Tesla’s future to advanced robotics, including the Optimus humanoid robot.

Musk has claimed that as much as 80 percent of Tesla’s long-term value could come from the Optimus program, despite repeated delays.

For others, the accelerating push toward automation has raised concerns.

Analysts warn that early evidence of AI replacing entry-level work is already contributing to employment instability for younger workers.

But Musk maintains that an economy powered by robotics would make financial scarcity obsolete.

Citing the science-fiction “Culture” novels by Iain M. Banks, a self-described socialist, Musk said:

“In those books, money doesn’t exist.

“It’s kind of interesting.

“And my guess is, if you go out long enough… money will stop being relevant.”

At Viva Technology 2024, Musk floated the idea of a future “universal high income” to support a world with little or no required labor, though he has not outlined how such a system would function.

Economists Skeptical of Musk’s Timeline

Meanwhile, Economists say the type of large-scale automation Musk describes is theoretically possible but far less feasible within a 10- to 20-year timeframe.

Robotics remains significantly more expensive and harder to scale than software-based AI tools, according to economist Ioana Marinescu of the University of Pennsylvania, who co-authored a recent Brookings Institution working paper on automation.

“We’ve been at it making machines forever, since the industrial revolution,” Marinescu told Fortune.

“You often run… into decreasing returns, as it gets harder in order to make progress in a line of technology that you’ve been at… for a couple of centuries.”

Even as AI has surged, workplace adoption remains slower than anticipated.

A recent Yale Budget Lab report found no broad labor-market disruption linked to ChatGPT’s public release in 2022.

Samuel Solomon, a labor economist at Temple University, said political structures would be as critical as technological ones in any transition.

Funding a universal income system or rethinking traditional employment protections would require major political cooperation.

“AI has already created so much wealth and will continue to,” Solomon said.

“But I think one key question is: Is this going to be inclusive?

“Will it create inclusive prosperity? Will everyone benefit?”

Analysts note that existing AI-driven gains are disproportionately concentrated among major tech firms, widening the economic gap between large corporations and the broader market.

Beyond Economics, Questions About Meaning

Some researchers say the deeper challenge may be cultural rather than financial.

Anton Korinek of the University of Virginia’s Economics of Transformative AI Initiative argues that removing work from life would force a reevaluation of how people build purpose and relationships.

Humans, he said, derive meaning from social bonds, many of which are formed in workplaces.

“If the economic value of labor declines so that labor is just not very useful anymore, we’ll have to rethink how our society is structured,” Korinek said.

Musk acknowledged the same issue in remarks last year.

“The question will really be one of meaning: If the computer and robots can do everything better than you, does your life have meaning?” he said.

“I do think there’s perhaps still a role for humans in this — in that we may give AI meaning.”
