U.S Birth Rate Plunges Below Sustainable Level

America’s birth rate has just plunged to its lowest level in over four decades, according to the latest figures.
The U.S. birth rate is currently sitting far below the “replacement rate” which is required to keep the population at a sustainable level.
According to the data, published by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fewer babies were born in America in 2023 than in any year since 1979.
The data was revealed in a new report from the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics.
There were 3.59 million babies born in 2023, down 2% from 3.66 million recorded in 2022.
This number is the lowest since 1979 when 3.4 million babies were born.
Karen Benjamin Guzzo, director of the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, told The Wall Street Journal that fewer Americans want to have children while many are delaying starting a family.
“People are making rather reasoned decisions about whether or not to have a child at all,” Guzzo said.
“More often than not, I think what they’re deciding is, ‘Yes, I’d like to have children, but not yet.’”
This number is the lowest since 1979 when 3.4 million babies were born.

Spain is seeing a disturbing surge in state-approved “assisted suicide” deaths as the country’s socialist government continues expanding its euthanasia regime.
Newly released data shows that 426 people were euthanized by the government in 2024, a staggering 27.54% jump from 334 deaths in 2023.
Since 2022, the first full year after legalization, the total number has soared 47.92%, revealing a rapidly accelerating trend.
The spike comes as the ruling Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) drives further expansion of euthanasia laws.
Among the government’s expansions are policies that do not require a six- or twelve-month terminal prognosis for eligibility, removing a safeguard common in other jurisdictions.
Denials Reversed, Deaths Approved
Government figures show a growing number of rejected euthanasia requests are later overturned.
In 2023, 188 applications were denied.
Seventy-eight people appealed, and over 40% (32 cases) were ultimately approved for death.
In 2024, 157 requests were denied.
Seventy-five appeals followed, with 20 (26.67%) later permitted to proceed.
Neurological disorders accounted for 302 applicants in 2024, while 276 had cancer.
Other cases involved cardiovascular, respiratory, and additional conditions.
Push to Include Mental Illness
Alarm is also rising over efforts to expand euthanasia to those suffering from mental illness.
According to the Spanish journal Diario Médico, Spain’s Health Ministry considered revising the “Manual of Good Practices for Euthanasia” in 2024 to explicitly allow such cases.
A draft proposal stated the governing law:
“… does not exclude mental illness, allowing people with an unbearable suffering due to the presence of a mental illness to request [state-assisted suicide or euthanasia] on equal terms with those whose suffering comes from a bodily illness.”
Global Expansion Raises Red Flags
Spain’s surge mirrors troubling developments worldwide.
In Victoria, Australia, eligibility rules were broadened to allow assisted suicide for people with up to 12 months to live, doubling the previous general limit.
In Canada, physicians have argued that euthanasia for disabled newborns “may be an appropriate treatment.”
Dr. Louis Roy, speaking for the Quebec College of Physicians, recommended euthanasia for babies with “severe deformations” and “very grave… medical syndromes,” a stance reaffirmed as recently as August.
“Assisted Suicide” Bills Advance Globally
The developments in Spain, Canada, and Australia are a warning sign for other nations around the world.
In the United Kingdom, the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is moving through the House of Lords in England and Wales.
The legislation would allow the government to euthanize individuals believed to have six months or less to live.
However, as with every other nation that passed these slippery slope laws, they will undoubtedly be expanded once passed.
During the bill’s Second Reading, 67% of peers who spoke opposed the proposal, citing fears of the same rapid expansion seen abroad.
Right To Life UK spokesperson Catherine Robinson issued a stark warning:
“This drastic increase in the number of people in Spain who ended their lives by euthanasia or assisted suicide is an incredibly worrying and sad development.”
“It would appear that where assisted suicide or euthanasia are made legal, the number of people who end their lives this way tends to increase each year, alongside discussions to expand the eligibility for these programmes further still.”
“It seems highly likely that if assisted suicide were to become legal in England and Wales, we would experience a similar trajectory.
“Lawmakers in Westminster must work to ensure that such an awful regime never becomes law here.”

Newly surfaced material from the latest Epstein Files release is drawing intense scrutiny after an email exchange referenced a disturbing question allegedly posed during a conversation involving disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
A 2011 email written by Hollywood producer Barry Josephson has reignited debate over Epstein’s network of powerful associates.
In the email message, with the subject line “your neice [sic],” Josephson referenced a question Epstein had apparently asked Gates:
“How do we get rid of poor people as a whole?”
Josephson then claimed he had “an answer” before the email thread abruptly shifted to discussion of a 16-year-old described as Epstein’s niece, including details about her age, location in New York, and contact information for her mother, apparently in connection with potential involvement in a film shoot.
The full exchange appears in U.S. Department of Justice data labeled DOJ Data Set 9 (EFTA01157206.pdf).
Within the visible emails, Josephson initiates the population remark and then pivots directly to professional matters involving the young teen, supposedly a relative of Epstein’s.
No explanation of the supposed “answer” appears in the disclosed messages, but Epstein suggested that Josephson could speak with Gates about the subject during their upcoming meeting.
A viral X thread amplified the email and framed it as evidence of depopulation-style thinking among global elites.
The revelation has led to widespread calls demanding accountability.
The post generated tens of thousands of engagements within hours, reflecting persistent public distrust toward powerful, unelected figures operating across philanthropy, technology, and global health.
While the email does not show Gates personally writing the statement or outlining any concrete plan, Josephson appears to be paraphrasing a prior discussion between Epstein and Gates.
Epstein does seem to acknowledge the conversation and suggests further discussion.
However, critics of the post defended Gates and suggested that the phrasing could reflect a poorly worded version of a question, such as how to reduce poverty rather than eliminate poor people.
Even so, the casual juxtaposition of population rhetoric with discussion of placing a young girl into Epstein’s professional orbit has intensified outrage and renewed focus on the culture surrounding Epstein’s inner circle.
Public records confirm Josephson and Epstein maintained ongoing contact.
In 2015, Epstein proposed a film concept to Josephson centered on men “falsely accused” of sexual misconduct, citing Bill Cosby and Prince Andrew as inspiration.
Josephson even engaged in script-related discussions.
Gates’s relationship with Epstein is also well documented.
The Microsoft co-founder has acknowledged multiple meetings with Epstein after the financier’s 2008 conviction, as new information continues to emerge regarding their ties.
However, Gates has claimed those interactions were pursued in hopes of philanthropic collaboration and described them as a “mistake.”
Yet, Gates continues to feature heavily in the Epstein Files, which continue to suggest his relationship with Epstein was far deeper than he claims.
As Slay News reported, among the most disturbing claims in the most recent release, Epstein accused Gates of sleeping with Russian women, contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD), and seeking antibiotics he could secretly administer to his then-wife, Melinda Gates, without her knowledge or consent.
As the documents spread online, Gates’s camp quickly moved to shut down the fallout.
“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false,” a Gates spokesperson said.
Melinda Gates responded by throwing her ex-husband under the bus.
During a podcast interview, she reflected on Epstein’s victims and the collapse of her marriage.
“It’s beyond heartbreaking,” Melinda Gates said.
“I remember being those ages those girls were, I remember my daughters being those ages.
“So, for me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up, right?
“Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage.”
“I am so happy to be away from all the muck,” she said.
“So whatever questions remain there of what, I don’t [and] can’t even begin to know all of it, those questions are for those people and even my ex-husband.”
“I hope there’s some justice,” she added.

Canadian Government Euthanizes Disabled Man Because He’s ‘Lonely’

The Canadian government-run euthanasia system has crossed another chilling threshold after Canada’s socialized healthcare system euthanized a disabled man because he was experiencing “loneliness.”
A disabled man in his 60s was put to death under Canada’s expanding Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) regime after citing loneliness and social isolation as the primary reasons for wanting to die.
The alarming case was revealed in a 2025 report from Ontario’s MAiD Death Review Committee (OMDRC).
The man, identified only as Mr. B, lived with cerebral palsy and used a wheelchair.
Despite his disability, records show he could independently use the bathroom and move around on his own.
He had lived for years in a long-term care facility.
Yet Mr. B told officials he was experiencing “profound psychosocial suffering and loneliness” due to limited interaction with others.
It was a condition that he said had persisted for years.
However, rather than addressing that isolation, the state ultimately authorized his death.
Roughly two months before his euthanasia application was approved, Mr. B stopped eating solid food and survived only on nutritional drinks.
His physician then referred him for assisted suicide.
After several assessments, practitioners concluded he qualified for euthanasia due to what they labeled a “grievous and irremediable condition.”
Records show Mr. B was offered medication for low mood and initially told he might qualify under Track 2, the MAID pathway for people whose natural death is not considered “reasonably foreseeable.”
Under Canada’s system:
• Track 1 applies when death is deemed “reasonably foreseeable.”
• Track 2 allows euthanasia even when death is not imminent.
Despite the fact that Mr. B’s declining condition was directly linked to his refusal to eat and drink properly, his euthanasia practitioner later ruled that he qualified under Track 1, citing an “incurable condition.”
That reclassification allowed the lethal injection to proceed more quickly.
Some members of the OMDRC raised concerns, noting that Mr. B’s self-starvation may have indicated suicidality, a factor that should have disqualified him.
Those warnings were ultimately ignored.
A Pattern, Not an Exception
Mr. B’s case is not isolated.
Canada’s euthanasia deaths have surged dramatically, with mounting reports of patients being killed for reasons that would have once demanded care, treatment, or protection.
A recent case involving an elderly woman known as Mrs. B sparked national outrage after she was euthanized despite reportedly expressing a desire to live.
Doctors said they proceeded with the lethal injection because her husband, her primary caregiver, appeared “burned out.”
Since assisted suicide was legalized in 2016, the Liberal government has expanded MAID more than thirteenfold.
Under Prime Minister Mark Carney, Canada now operates the fastest-growing assisted suicide program in the world.
The expansion has not gone unnoticed outside Canada.
Top U.S. officials are now sounding the alarm.
As Slay News reported, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill has warned that Canada’s MAiD program has crossed a dangerous ethical line.
O’Niell is describing its current trajectory as deeply troubling.
“We thought we’d seen all the possible horrors, you know, in America,” O’Neill said, according to the Washington Examiner.
“And then Canada had this strange new horror that was really just shocking.”
At this point, critics argue, MAiD is no longer about mercy for the dying.
The program is now being used as a tool for eliminating people who are lonely, disabled, depressed, or inconvenient.
Mr. B was not dying.
He was alone.
And in modern Canada, that was deemed reason enough to kill him.

Hundreds of thousands of Canadian gun owners could face prison sentences if they refuse to surrender newly prohibited firearms under a federal “buyback” program that critics say amounts to forced confiscation disguised as “voluntary” compliance.
Since May 2020, the Canadian government has pursued what it calls an “assault-style firearms compensation program,” banning thousands of firearms and offering payment to owners who turn them in.
Gun owners who fail to comply by October 2026 could face up to five years in prison for illegal possession.
Gun rights advocates and several provincial governments argue the program will overwhelmingly impact law-abiding citizens while doing little to curb crime.
“We’re finding that they’re running into a lot of compliance issues,” said Blair Hagen, an executive with the National Firearms Association.
“They have no idea where [the guns are] or who has them.
“So it’s proving to be a very, very difficult situation for the government.”
Trudeau’s Order-in-Council Ban
The firearm ban was enacted through an order-in-council issued in May 2020 by then–Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a mechanism that allows sweeping regulatory changes without a parliamentary vote.
Under the policy, participation in the buyback is described as “voluntary,” but compliance with the ban is mandatory.
“While participating in the program is voluntary, compliance with the law is not,” the federal government states on its website.
Firearm owners must “safely dispose of or permanently deactivate” prohibited weapons or risk criminal liability.
The government has extended an amnesty for possession three times, with the current deadline set for October 30, 2026.
‘Voluntary’ in Name Only
Gun rights groups dispute the government’s framing.
“If the option is either turn them in or you’re going to jail, I would not consider that voluntary,” said Justin Davis, public affairs director for the National Rifle Association.
The federal government also does not guarantee compensation, stating only that owners “may receive compensation subject to availability of program funds.”
Carney Denies Confiscation
Globalist Prime Minister Mark Carney has repeatedly denied that the policy constitutes confiscation.
“This is not about confiscation,” Carney said during a podcast interview in September 2025.
“This is about voluntary return of firearms for compensation.”
Carney also claimed that the ban does not affect hunting rifles or sport-shooting firearms.
However, critics point out that the policy includes explicit carve-outs for Indigenous subsistence hunters, suggesting that commonly owned firearms are indeed affected.
Provinces Refuse to Enforce the Ban
Several provinces, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Yukon, have refused to assist federal authorities in enforcing the ban.
“We will have nothing to do with this program,” said Teri Bryant, Alberta’s chief firearms officer.
“We will not spend any Alberta taxpayer dollars on this program.”
As a result, federal authorities would be responsible for enforcement without local law enforcement support.
“If the feds want to try and enforce it, they are going to have to do it themselves,” Hagen said.
“The logistics get even more insurmountable and the price goes up.”
Program Yields Minimal Results
A six-week pilot run in fall 2025 reportedly recovered just 25 firearms, far below the government’s expectation of roughly 200.
Despite that outcome, officials declared the pilot a success.
Hagen said the lack of public participation reflects widespread resistance among lawful gun owners.
“There is a civil disarmament agenda in that bureaucracy,” he said.
“It started many years ago.”
Warnings for the United States
Gun rights advocates argue the Canadian model is a cautionary tale for the United States.
“There’s no criminal in the world who’s going to turn in their firearm for a few dollars,” Davis said.
“These policies disarm law-abiding citizens and create more soft targets.”
Gun confiscation schemes are already backed by top Democrats.
During her failed 2019 presidential campaign, former Vice President Kamala Harris openly supported a mandatory gun buyback.
“We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory gun buyback program,” Harris said at the time.
Advocates note that Canada lacks constitutional protections comparable to the Second Amendment.
“You can ban firearms on paper,” Hagen said, “but actually making confiscation happen is another thing entirely.”
Whether Canada’s program collapses under its own cost and complexity, or is repealed by a future government, remains an open question.
However, laws such as this one are almost always a one-way street.

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping has issued his clearest call yet for China’s currency to achieve global reserve status, signaling Beijing’s long-term ambition to weaken U.S. financial dominance and reshape the international monetary system.
In commentary published in Qiushi, the Chinese Communist Party’s flagship ideology journal, Xi said China must build a “powerful currency” that is “widely used in international trade, investment and foreign exchange markets, and attain reserve currency status.”
While China has spent years promoting wider use of the renminbi, Xi’s remarks mark his most explicit articulation to date of a strategy aimed at elevating the yuan into the top tier of global currencies.
The Chinese president argued that achieving reserve status would require sweeping financial reforms, including the creation of a “powerful central bank,” globally competitive financial institutions, and international financial centers capable of attracting global capital and influencing worldwide pricing.
The comments were originally delivered in a 2024 speech to senior regional officials but were not made public until this week.

However, President Donald Trump recently described the dollar as being in a “great” position.
Kelvin Lam of Pantheon Macroeconomics said:
“China senses the change of the global order more real than before.”
Lam noted that Xi’s remarks reflect what Beijing sees as fractures in the existing financial system.
China’s central bank governor, Pan Gongsheng, echoed that view last year.
The Chinese central bank is predicting the emergence of a “multi-polar international monetary system” in which the renminbi would compete with other major currencies rather than immediately displace the dollar.
Despite those ambitions, the yuan still plays a limited role in global reserves.
According to International Monetary Fund data, as of the third quarter of 2025, the U.S. dollar accounted for roughly 57% of global reserves, down from 71% in 2000.
The euro stood at about 20%, while the renminbi ranked sixth at just 1.93%.
Analysts say China faces major obstacles.
Global reserve currencies typically require open capital accounts and full convertibility, steps Beijing has been reluctant to take due to concerns over capital flight and financial instability.
China’s trading partners have also pressured Beijing to allow a stronger yuan, arguing that the currency remains undervalued and helps fuel China’s massive trade surplus, which reached $1.2 trillion last year.
IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva has previously urged China to address economic “imbalances,” including deflation that she said contributed to real exchange rate depreciation.
Chinese officials insist they are not manipulating the currency for trade advantage.
People’s Bank of China Vice Governor Zou Lan said last month that Beijing has no intention of weakening the renminbi to boost exports.
For now, policymakers have tolerated modest appreciation against the dollar, even as the yuan continues to weaken against the euro.
Analysts caution that Xi’s push is a long-term project rather than an imminent shift.
“Xi’s rhetoric won’t flip global foreign exchange markets today,” said Han Shen Lin of The Asia Group, “but it cements a long-term tilt investors are already sniffing out.”
In short, Beijing is signaling that it believes the dollar’s dominance is no longer untouchable.
As such, Communist China intends to position the yuan as a strategic counterweight in a changing global order.

Melinda Gates publicly distanced herself from her former husband, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, following the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.
As Slay News previously reported, the latest Epstein Files include explosive allegations about Bill Gates’s conduct during their marriage.
Speaking Tuesday on NPR’s “Wild Card podcast,” the 61-year-old philanthropist said the newly released Epstein files were deeply disturbing and insisted that those named in the documents, including her ex-husband, must answer for what has come to light.
“I think we’re having a reckoning as a society, right?” Melinda said.
“No girl, no girl should ever be put in the situation that they were put in by Epstein and whatever was going on with all of the various people around him.
“It’s beyond heartbreaking.”
She added that the revelations hit close to home.
“I remember being those ages those girls were, I remember my daughters being those ages,” she said.
“So, for me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up, right?
“Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage.”
Melinda then made clear she wants no part of the fallout surrounding the Epstein disclosures.
“I purposely pushed it away, and I moved on,” she said.
“I’m in a really unexpected, beautiful place in my life
“So whatever questions remain there of what, I don’t [and] can’t even begin to know all of it, those questions are for those people and even my ex-husband.
“They need to answer those questions, not me.”
“And I am so happy to be away from all the muck,” she added.
When asked how the allegations involving Bill Gates made her feel personally, Melinda responded bluntly.
“Sad,” she replied.
“Just unbelievable sadness.
“Unbelievable sadness.”
“I hope there’s some justice,” she added.

Her remarks come days after the Department of Justice released hundreds of thousands of additional Epstein-related documents, including emails containing disturbing allegations involving Gates.
One email appears to be a draft resignation letter written by Epstein from the perspective of Gates’s former top adviser, Boris Nikolic.
It accuses Gates of asking for antibiotics to conceal a sexually transmitted disease allegedly contracted from “russian girls.”
“TO add insult to the injury you them (sic) implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis,” the email states.
The DOJ release also included multiple previously unseen photographs of Gates and Epstein together at various locations.
Gates has long acknowledged that meeting with Epstein was a mistake, but has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
He has insisted that he had no business relationship or friendship with Epstein, claiming their interactions were limited and conducted in group settings.
Gates has also denied attending Epstein’s parties or visiting his residences.
Another email included in the release expresses Epstein’s anger over Gates ending their association.
“I have been dismayed beyond comprehension by your decision to disregard our friendship developed over the last 6 years,” Epstein wrote.
Additional correspondence, also appearing to be written by Nikolic, describes alleged involvement in Gates’s personal affairs.
“I have been caught up in a severe marital dispute between Melinda and Bill…” the email states.
“In my role as his right hand man I have been asked and wrongly acquiesced into participating in things that have ranged from the morally inappropriate, to the ethically unsound and have been repeatedly asked to do thing (sic) that get near and potentially over the line into the illegal…”
The email continues:
“From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with russian girls, to facilitating his illicit trusts, with married women, to being asked to provide adderall fro (sic) bridge touramnts (sic), as I am a medial (sic) doctor, but have no presriptions (sic) writing ability.”
A separate line in the document attempts to dismiss the claims, stating:
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”
Melinda and Bill Gates were married from 1994 until their divorce in 2021.
Melinda previously cited Gates’s affairs and his association with Epstein as factors in the split, though she did not publicly detail the allegations at the time.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Melinda began consulting divorce lawyers in 2019 after reports emerged about Gates’s repeated meetings with Epstein.
The reports contradicted Gates’s earlier public denials.
The newly released Epstein files have renewed scrutiny of Gates’s past statements and raised fresh questions about what senior figures in politics, finance, and technology knew, and when they knew it.

A massive new release of Department of Justice (DOJ) records tied to Jeffrey Epstein is sending shockwaves through elite circles, and billionaire Bill Gates appears to be scrambling after being directly implicated in a series of deeply disturbing allegations..
As Slay News previously reported, the millions of pages released Friday include emails in which Epstein makes salacious claims that Gates begged him to obtain antibiotics so he could secretly dose his wife to conceal sexually transmitted diseases he allegedly contracted from “Russian girls.”
According to the DOJ-released files, Epstein discussed helping Gates obtain drugs “in order to deal with consequences of sex with Russian girls,” as well as facilitating illicit relationships with married women.
Most alarmingly, Epstein suggests that Gates gave his then-wife, Melinda Gates, antibiotics without her knowledge or consent.
“During the past few weeks I have been caught up in a severe marital dispute between Melinda and Bill,” reads an email dated July 2013 from Epstein’s account.
The message appears to be written by Epstein to himself as a form of documentation and is reportedly drafted on behalf of Boris Nikolic, a science adviser to Gates.
“In my role as his right hand I had been asked on mulitple occasion[s] and in hindsight, wrongly acquiesced into participating in things that have ranged from the morally inappropriate,” the email continues, “to the ethically unsound and had been repeatedly asked to do other things that get near and potentially over the line into the illegal. …
“From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with Russian girls, to facilictating his illicit trysts, with married women, to being asked to provide Adderall [for] bridge [tournaments].”
In another draft email included in the DOJ release, Epstein, again writing as Nikolic, accused Gates of orchestrating a cover-up.
“You implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std [sic], your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis,” the email states.
It goes on to accuse Gates of coordinating a “cover up [sic] so that you can maintain the reputation that you have worked so hard to achieve.”
As the documents spread online, Gates’ camp quickly moved to shut down the fallout.
“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false,” a Gates spokesperson said.
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”
The rapid response comes as Gates’ past ties to Epstein are again under intense scrutiny.
Melinda Gates later divorced Bill Gates.
She publicly acknowledged in 2022 that his relationship with Epstein was one of the reasons for the split.
“He was abhorrent, evil personified,” she said of Epstein after meeting him once.
“I had nightmares about it afterwards.
“That’s why my heart breaks for these young women.
“That’s how I felt, and I am an older woman.
“He was awful,” she declared.
Gates himself has previously admitted that associating with Epstein was a “huge mistake.”
Melinda Gates has also suggested that her ex-husband cheated on her multiple times during their 27-year marriage.
The mounting allegations continue adding to the growing cloud surrounding Gates’s personal conduct.
The DOJ’s release includes more than 3.5 million pages, along with 180,000 images and 2,000 videos, ensuring that scrutiny is far from over.
As more Americans dig through the Epstein files, Gates’s frantic denials are unlikely to quiet questions about what he knew, what he did, and what else may still be buried in the documents.

Explosive new documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) have thrown disgraced former U.K. Cabinet minister Peter Mandelson back into the spotlight, as newly revealed emails show he secretly funneled market-sensitive government information to Jeffrey Epstein during the height of the global financial crisis.
The disclosures, contained in the latest tranche of so-called Epstein Files, suggest Mandelson, then serving as business secretary under former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, shared confidential policy discussions, draft bailout plans, and internal government strategy with Epstein as markets teetered on collapse.
The revelations have triggered an escalating political and legal crisis in Britain, with police now reviewing complaints, senior officials calling for Mandelson’s removal from the House of Lords, and the Labour government scrambling to contain the fallout.
Notably, Mandelson, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, was removed last year from his role as Britain’s ambassador to the United States after his deep ties to Epstein emerged.
Leaked Emails Point to Insider Access
According to reporting cited by The Guardian, emails forwarded to Epstein from the highest levels of the U.K. government included:

• Advance details of a €500 billion eurozone bailout, shared before public announcement

In one June 13, 2009 email, a memo circulated by then-Downing Street adviser Nick Butler detailed sensitive policy options and potential asset sales.
Mandelson forwarded it to Epstein with the note:
“Interesting note that’s gone to the PM.”
Epstein replied, asking what assets were for sale.
A response, sent from a redacted address, answered: “Land, property, I guess.”
Months later, the British government announced plans to sell surplus property to raise £16 billion.
Butler later said he was “disgusted” by the apparent breach of trust, adding that such disclosures appeared designed to give Epstein an opportunity to profit.
Bailouts, Pressure Campaigns, and Advance Warnings
Further emails show Epstein pressing Mandelson to confirm a massive eurozone bailout.
Mandelson reportedly indicated that it would be announced that same evening.
The following day, Epstein appeared to receive advance notice of Brown’s resignation.
In another exchange, Epstein asked whether JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon should contact Chancellor Alistair Darling.
Mandelson responded that Dimon should “mildly threaten” him, a suggestion later corroborated by reporting that such calls did occur.
Political Establishment in Damage-Control Mode
The scale of the disclosures has forced current Prime Minister Keir Starmer to order an investigation by the cabinet secretary and publicly demand Mandelson’s resignation from the House of Lords.
Brown separately requested a formal inquiry into whether government secrets were improperly leaked during the financial crisis, calling the new revelations “shocking.”
Opposition parties have gone further.
The Scottish National Party and Reform UK have referred Mandelson to the police for alleged misconduct in public office.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed it has received multiple reports and is assessing whether the evidence meets the threshold for a criminal investigation.
Financial Ties Raise Even More Red Flags
The Epstein Files have also reignited scrutiny of Mandelson’s financial relationship with the disgraced financier.
Earlier documents suggest Epstein paid $75,000 into accounts linked to Mandelson.
Another transfer allegedly sent £10,000 to Mandelson’s partner, Reinaldo Avila da Silva, to fund education and expenses.
A former adviser described Mandelson’s conduct as “treacherous,” saying colleagues who worked through the crisis feel deeply betrayed.
House of Cards Falling
Meanwhile, Gordon Brown has written to the head of the Metropolitan Police over Mandelson’s contact with Epstein, accoridn to breaking reports on Tuesday.
The former prime minister said in a statement, sent to the Press Association, that he had written to the police commissioner, Sir. Mark Rowley, “with information relevant to his investigation of Mandelson’s disclosure of market-sensitive and confidential government information” to the pedophile financier.
The Metropolitan Police earlier said that officers had received a referral from the government over Mandelson’s emails to Epstein.
A spokesperson said:
“We can confirm that a referral from government has been received.
“We anticipate that we’ll provide a further update later.”
No Escape From the Fallout
Mandelson resigned his Labour Party membership over the weekend, but has not relinquished his peerage.
Downing Street has urged reforms to allow peers accused of serious misconduct to be removed, an extraordinary step with virtually no modern precedent.
Chief Secretary to the Treasury Darren Jones told Parliament:
“No government minister of any political party should have, nor ever should behave in this way.”
No timetable has been set for the Cabinet Office review, and it remains unclear whether its findings will be made public.
But the damage is already done.
As more Epstein-linked documents surface, the picture that continues to emerge is not just one of personal disgrace, but of an entrenched political elite quietly feeding power, privilege, and inside information to one of the most notorious criminals in modern history.
And this time, the paper trail is catching up.

Links have emerged between Canada’s globalist Prime Minister-elect Mark Carney and the late child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
A photograph from 2013 suggests Carney, a World Economic Forum (WEF) “agenda contributor” and former cetral banker, may have troubling ties to Epstein and his sex trafficking accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, the New York Post reported.
The photo shows Carney in a friendly chat with Maxwell, who is serving 20 years in prison after a conviction for her role in Epstein’s child sex trafficking operation.
In the coming days, Carney is slated to replace outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau until a general election is held.
A vote Sunday gave Carney the coveted temporary position as the ruling Liberal Party’s leader.
However, a recently surfaced photo could be his undoing.

Now, they have returned to social media and could threaten his future as Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre hammers him over it.
The photos were reportedly taken at a UK music festival and feature Carney, his wife, Maxwell, and another unidentified man.
The photo shows the subjects looking relaxed and engaged with one another.
The timeline tracks the aftermath of Epstein’s first conviction in 2008 for procuring a child for prostitution.
Epstein served 13 months for that crime, but Maxwell was yet to be brought up on charges of her own at that time.
Carney’s team claims that this is a political ploy perpetrated on him by his opponent.
“This is another example of how Pierre Poilievre and [his PR head] Jenni Byrne have always played politics, and it shows again how terrified they are to fight Mark Carney,” a source close to the matter said when the photos first surfaced.
Another source claims Carney was merely an acquaintance of Maxwell’s because she went to the same high school as his sister-in-law.
He insists they were nothing more.
“They have bumped into each other in public settings. They are not friends,” the source claimed.
Other powerful figures had close relationships with the convicted pedophile, including former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew.
Clinton and Andrew have also frequently been photographed with Epstein and Maxwell over the years.
This mini-scandal comes as Canada is poised to swear Carney in as the new prime minister after Trudeau’s reign comes to an end.
Carney clinched 86% of the Liberal Party’s vote to become its new leader and take over for Trudeau, perhaps for good.
Meanwhile, Carney is pushing back hard on Trump’s proposed tariffs and the notion that the nation to the north will become America’s 51st state.
“America is not Canada,” Carney said as he accepted his new role,” Carney said.
“And Canada never, ever will be part of America in any way, shape or form.
“We didn’t ask for this fight, but Canadians are always ready when someone else drops the gloves.
“The Americans want our resources, our water, our land, our country…
“Think about it,” urged Carney, a former banker who has never been elected to political office.
“If they succeed, they will destroy our way of life.”
The Epstein issue has ensnared countless people at the highest echelons of power.
Carney is yet another prominent person who was somehow caught in their orbit while claiming to know nothing about their crimes.
