Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has raised eyebrows by openly praising Canada’s growing cooperation with Communist China and declaring that the partnership is helping shape a “new world order.”

Carney made the stunning remarks during a high-profile visit to Beijing this week, marking the first visit by a Canadian prime minister in nearly a decade and celebrating the two countries becoming so-called “strategic partners.”

“Mine is the first visit of a Canadian Prime Minister to China in nearly a decade,” Carney told senior Chinese Communist Party officials, including Xi Jinping.

“The world has changed much since that last visit.

“And I believe the progress that we have made and the partnership sets us up well for the New World Order.”

He warned that Trump’s approach risks turning the world into what he described as “a den of robbers,” where powerful nations act decisively, and weaker states are no longer shielded by international bureaucracy.

Revealing deep anxiety among European elites who long relied on U.S. restraint, Steinmeier added:

“Attempts are being made to push even medium-sized states — and that includes us — to the margins of history.”

France’s Emmanuel Macron, another WEF-linked leader, echoed the alarm, warning of growing “risks to the international order in which we live.”

Macron complained that the United States is “turning away from some of its allies” and abandoning global rules it once promoted in trade, security, and international institutions. He previously criticized Washington’s “method” for removing Maduro from power.

Macomb County Clerk Anthony G. Forlini has announced that noncitizens have been appearing in the county’s jury pool at what he described as an “alarming rate.”

Forlini also revealed that internal data suggests some may have also registered to vote, and even cast ballots, illegally.

Speaking during a press conference inside the courthouse jury room in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Forlini said a four-month internal review identified 239 noncitizens selected for jury duty between September 5, 2025, and January 8, 2026.

“This was just one county in Michigan over a four-month period,” Forlini said, warning that the issue could be far more widespread statewide.

Jury Pool Drawn from Driver’s License Database

Forlini explained that Macomb County’s jury pool is generated from the Michigan Secretary of State’s driver’s license database, which does not consistently flag citizenship status.

As a result, noncitizens, such as lawful permanent residents, can be swept into jury selection, despite being legally ineligible to serve under Michigan law.

After cross-checking the 239 noncitizens against the state’s Qualified Voter File (QVF), Forlini’s office found that 14 had been registered to vote at some point.

Of those, three appear to have voted, including one individual who voted multiple times, according to the clerk.

The three cases involving apparent voting activity have been referred to the county Corporation Counsel for consideration of felony charges.

Automatic Registration Raises Additional Concerns

Forlini said the problem is exacerbated by Michigan’s automatic voter registration system, which registers individuals when they apply for a driver’s license unless they opt out.

He noted that the process relies heavily on self-reporting and may be confusing, particularly for applicants facing language barriers.

“Non-citizens are coming through at an alarming rate,” Forlini said.

“Our jury service summons are based on random draws from the driver’s license bank.

“Frequently, non-citizens slip through because citizenship was not flagged in the Secretary of State database.”

He warned that allowing noncitizens to serve on juries could undermine the integrity of the judicial system, while illegal registrations and votes threaten election integrity.

Calls for Federal Verification and Data Sharing

Forlini urged the state to verify voter and jury eligibility against federal databases and called for improved data-sharing mechanisms.

“We must find a way for the Driver’s License database to confirm citizenship,” he said.

“If this is not addressed, we risk compromising our jury trials and our elections.”

He suggested leveraging new technology to link databases so citizenship can be reliably verified across systems.

Former Michigan Secretary of State Candice Miller and State Rep. Joe Aragona, both Republicans, have voiced support for legislative review.

Secretary of State Pushback

A member of the Macomb County Clerk’s office said during the press conference that Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, declined to act when presented with evidence of noncitizens appearing on jury lists and voter rolls.

“We’re not gonna touch this,” Bensen told officials.

Benson, who is running for governor, has also refused to turn over unredacted voter data to the U.S. Department of Justice, arguing that “nobody—not the president, the DOJ or any other federal agency—has the right to your sensitive, private voter information.”

Critics note that Benson has shared voter roll data with nongovernmental organizations such as ERIC and Rock the Vote, raising questions about the consistency of her privacy claims.

The Justice Department has sued 23 states and Washington, D.C., for failing to comply with requests for voter roll data.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon has argued that access to full voter registration data is essential to prevent vote dilution and ensure that only eligible citizens are on the rolls.

“Why won’t they cooperate and let us help them clean up the rolls?!” Dhillon posted on X on Monday.

A planned Islamic center and mosque in the community of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was struck down by the city council in a 4-1 vote after months of steep pushback from residents.

The decision followed weeks of public debate, including packed meetings and an investigation announced by the Oklahoma Attorney General. The project, proposed by the Islamic Society of Tulsa (IST), aimed to address overcrowding at its existing Midtown Tulsa mosque, where half of its approximately 1,000 members reside in Broken Arrow.

The proposed development was planned for 15 acres on South Olive Avenue, just south of the Creek Turnpike, land purchased by the IST in 2014 for $625,000 and later deeded to the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). It would have included a 42,000-square-foot building featuring a mosque for worship, a retail strip mall, and a public clinic.

Initial plans called for more than 700 parking spaces, but this was reduced to around 150-200 in a revised proposal presented to the council. The rezoning sought to change the land from its current designation to commercial use, aligning with the city’s 2019 comprehensive plan, which envisions the area for commercial or high-density residential development.

The Broken Arrow Planning Commission approved the rezoning on December 18, 2025, despite fierce public opposition at that meeting. However, the City Council, in a special meeting held at Northeastern State University’s Broken Arrow campus, rejected the request.

Mayor Debra Wimpee, along with Councilors David Pickel, Lisa Ford, and Justin Green, voted to deny, while Vice Mayor Johnnie Parks voted in favor.The council cited incompatibility with land use standards, including concerns over traffic congestion, stormwater runoff, insufficient infrastructure, and parking adequacy

Virginia Democrats have filed legislation aimed at setting clear standards for how public schools present the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol.

House Bill 333, sponsored by Delegate Dan Helmer (D‑Fairfax), would allow local school boards to teach about the event while requiring that lessons follow specific guidelines.

Under the proposed bill, classroom instruction must characterize Jan. 6 as a violent and unprecedented attack on democratic institutions, government infrastructure and elected officials.

Teachers would be prohibited from presenting the day as a peaceful demonstration or treating claims of widespread election fraud that could have altered the 2020 presidential election as credible.

The O’Keefe Media Group on Tuesday released a bombshell report detailing how a member of Vice President JD Vance’s protection detail shared sensitive information on Vance’s security with an undercover reporter.

The agent in question is Tomas Escotto, a five-year Secret Service veteran assigned to Vice President Vance’s protective detail. Escotto is described as a holdover from the Biden administration who had voted for the former president in the past.

His role involved direct responsibilities in Vance’s security, including participation in shift rotations, advance planning for movements, and on-site protection during travel. As part of Vance’s detail, Escotto had access to operational details critical to ensuring the safety of the Vice President and his family.

Like most O’Keefe Media Group reports, the agent disclosed information over a series of interactions with an individual he thought was a Tinder date, but was actually an undercover journalist.

Escotto met the journalist under the pretense of casual dating and gradually shared information about Vance’s security arrangements. The shared details included protective formations in the event of an emergency, shift schedules, travel plans and real time locations concerning the vice president’s whereabouts.

Escotto also sent photographs taken during duty, including images from Air Force Two while onboard with Vance, some containing embedded location data. The report notes that these disclosures occurred despite Escotto’s awareness of confidentiality rules, as he had previously signed a non-disclosure agreement.

“We have different shifts,” he said during one of the interactions. He frequently indicated that he could “not say too much” before continuing to disclose sensitive information.

“So we been there ahead of time before him. Just in case. We left, he. Days ahead,” he said in reference to Secret Service security protocols. He also disclosed multiple locations the vice president was set to travel to before he had done so.

Escotto also expressed personal views on related policies, saying, “The Trump admin deploying tactics that shouldn’t be deployed,” and “I don’t agree with that at all.” He also criticized the Trump Administration’s deportation agenda, saying, “I hate that [ICE] sh**.”

In disclosing the information he did, the agent opened himself up to significant disciplinary, and potential legal consequences.

The Secret Service responded promptly after OMG coordinated with them prior to publication, requesting redactions of specific operational details to avoid further risks. Escotto was placed on administrative leave, with his security clearance suspended and access to agency facilities and systems revoked, the agency said.

“The U.S. Secret Service has no tolerance for any behavior that could potentially compromise the safety, privacy or trust of our protectees. This incident is under investigation, and the employee involved has been placed on administrative leave with his clearance suspended and access to agency facilities and systems revoked,” said Deputy Secret Service Director Matthew Quinn.

Quinn also noted in an internal memo that the agency issued an order for all personnel to retake required anti-espionage training. “We sincerely apologize for this incident, which infringed on the privacy of the Vance family,” the Secret Service said in a follow-up statement.

The nation’s censors are specifically citing the use of X’s artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, Grok, which has been used to manipulate digital images.

The government argues that it is a crime to create AI-generated images of people without their consent.

Ofcom is conducting an urgent assessment of the situation after contacting X on Monday and setting a Friday deadline for the company to explain its actions, to which X has responded.

Downing Street has also criticized a recent change to Grok’s image function, now limited to paid users.

Yoshua Bengio, one of the world’s most influential artificial intelligence researchers and a pioneer of modern deep-learning systems, is warning that the rapid advance of AI will eventually make every job category vulnerable to automation, including skilled trades long assumed to be resistant to technological replacement.

Bengio, whose work helped lay the foundation for today’s AI revolution, says it is only a matter of time before artificial intelligence and robotics advance far enough to compete not just with office workers and knowledge-economy professionals, but with plumbers, electricians, construction workers, and other hands-on trades.

Desk jobs, or as Bengio called them, “cognitive jobs, the jobs that you can do behind a keyboard,” will be the first casualties of automation.

“It’s just a matter of time” before all jobs are replaced with AI-driven automation, Bengino stressed on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast.

“Unless we hit a wall scientifically, like some obstacle prevents us from making progress to make AIs smarter and smarter, there’s going to be a time when they’ll be doing more and more, able to do more and more of the work that people do …

“And then, of course, it takes years for companies to really integrate that into their workflows, but they’re eager to do it.

“So it’s more a matter of time than, is it happening or not?”

His assessment reflects growing concern inside the AI research community that the pace of progress is moving far faster than most policymakers and most workers are prepared to confront.

Selecting the latter increases an in-game “extremism meter.”

Another sequence presents a video claiming Muslim men are taking housing from veterans and that the government is betraying “white British people.”

Engaging with the content triggers alerts that Charlie is now consuming “harmful ideological messages,” with the game warning that some of the groups involved are “actually illegal.”

Even researching immigration statistics online is portrayed as a dangerous gateway, flooding the screen with material about the alleged “replacement” of white people.

Joining a protest over the “erosion of British values” nearly ends in arrest.

The game goes on to warn players that concerns about “British values” are supposedly driven by racism rather than patriotism.

According to The Telegraph, poor in-game decisions culminate in mandatory counseling for “ideological thoughts” or full Prevent referrals, complete with mentors tasked with correcting a child’s political beliefs.

Defenders Admit the Goal

Matteo Bergamini, founder and CEO of Shout Out UK, defended the program by openly describing it as a tool to shape political thinking.

“Teaching media literacy ensures that all those impacted by our programmes leave with life-long tools and skills to safeguard themselves from these threats,” Bergamini said.

Bergamini added that the game was built “to teach about the concept of extremism and radicalisation and illustrate the scope of online dangers.”

A Home Office spokesman echoed the justification, claiming Prevent has diverted thousands away from “violent ideologies,” including what it now labels “Extreme Right Wing” beliefs.

But critics note that Prevent’s scope has dramatically expanded.

GB News has reported that concerns about mass migration and cultural nationalism are now treated as extremist indicators.

Referrals for right-wing views reached 19 percent in 2024, outpacing Islamist cases, even as MI5 continues to warn that Islamist extremism accounts for the vast majority of terror threats.

A Broader Crackdown on Dissent

The Pathways rollout does not stand alone.

At the center of the legal battle is whether faith-based health care institutions can be compelled by the state to provide euthanasia, officially referred to as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), even when doing so violates their moral and religious convictions.

MAiD is the Canadian government’s taxpayer-funded “assisted suicide” program that operates under the nation’s socialized healthcare system.

Hospice Granted Intervenor Status in Constitutional Challenge

Canada’s most prominent pro-life elderly care provider, the Delta Hospice Society, has been granted intervenor status in the case.

The JCCF confirmed that the trial began on Monday, January 12, 2026, and will run through February 6, 2026, in Vancouver.

O’Neill was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer.

According to the JCCF, O’Neill decided in 2023 that she wanted to be euthanized.

However, the hospital, operated by Providence Health Care Society, refused to carry out the procedure due to its Catholic foundation and adherence to Church teaching.

O’Neill later died in April 2023 while being transferred to another facility willing to administer lethal injections.

Lawsuit Claims Charter Rights Were Violated

Following her death, O’Neill’s mother, Gaye O’Neill, with support from the pro-euthanasia advocacy group Dying With Dignity Canada, launched a lawsuit against Providence Health Care Society and the Province of British Columbia.

The lawsuit alleges that the hospital’s refusal to provide euthanasia on-site caused unnecessary suffering and violated O’Neill’s Charter rights, including freedom of conscience and religion, as well as her rights to life, liberty, and security of the person.
