Blogger Comment: They will not get much from the so-called parents if at all, as the vast majority, if not all were foreign immigrant nationals from black African countries and they invaded Italy illegally by themselves and gangs of others with no parents or documentation whatsoever with them according to an Italian source inside Italy…for even with their head-covers on, the faces were mainly and predominantly black in colour…

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government is cracking down on violent rioters and making parents pay when their children participate in leftist violence.
The move follows riots that left businesses looted, police officers injured, and streets damaged across several cities.
Parents of minors who commit violence at demonstrations face fines of €500 to €1,000, doubled for repeat offenses.
The penalties apply even when a child is too young to face prosecution.
Meloni said parents should pay when their children cause damage and called on political parties to stand with legality.
Prison Sentences for Rioters and Violent Organizers
The new crime targets anyone who uses sticks or clubs, or throws objects during a demonstration in a way that endangers others.
Offenders face two to five years in prison and fines of up to €20,000.
Higher penalties apply when rioters conceal their faces or damage public infrastructure or utilities.
Anyone organizing or promoting groups for violent demonstrations, including through online tools, faces four to 12 years behind bars.
The decree also allows police chiefs to bar groups of five or more minors from gathering where they behave in an intimidating manner.
It makes minor injuries inflicted on police officers automatically prosecutable and adds an option for deferred arrest over property damage.
A provision carried over from a cabinet-approved July bill presumes minors over 14 are capable of understanding their actions, allowing them to be charged immediately.
Meloni said then that anyone who assaults, robs, or destroys property must pay, “even if he is 15 or 16.”
Opposition politicians denounced the approach as propaganda and an authoritarian drift.
Meloni’s position is straightforward: being a teenager does not excuse assault, robbery, or destruction.
Rioters Loot Stores and Injure Police
The crackdown follows riots in Milan after a Saturday demonstration over living costs and public services.
Hooded rioters, many believed to be minors, set fires and looted stores, including Decathlon and Vodafone, Reuters reported.
Luxury retailers on Via Montenapoleone cleared their display windows.
Police took 271 young people to headquarters.
Of the 32 arrested, 23 were minors.
Violence also erupted in Bologna, Brescia, Bergamo, and Turin.
Euronews reported 14 injured police officers.
Business association Confcommercio estimated damage exceeding €1 million in Milan alone and at least €1.3 million nationwide.
Shopkeepers were left facing the cost of destruction while officers suffered injuries confronting the violence.
Investigators Examine Who Was Behind the Riots
Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said early findings ruled out structured links to militant antagonist groups and that no organizer had been identified.
He described the youth mobilization as spontaneous but said “something certainly happened,” adding that answers would come soon.
Ynet reported assessments suggesting many participants simply wanted to break things.
Police also identified radical-left activists from social centers who left once force was used.
Defense Minister Guido Crosetto blamed “hybrid warfare,” while Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini rejected suggestions of a coordinating hand, including Russian involvement.
Additional Troops for Milan
Following an October 19 summit at Palazzo Chigi, Salvini announced military reinforcements.
“500 more soldiers to defend Milan,” Salvini said.
“A victory for the League.”
Forza Italia also claimed credit for the additional troops.
Crosetto’s proposal to give soldiers judicial police powers did not make it into the text, according to ANSA.
The measures put rioters and their families on notice: violence carries consequences, and a minor’s age will no longer shield parents from fines when their children participate in it.
