Assisted Dying Act England & Wales – UK State Euthanization & the Other Side of the Story that the ‘People’ are NEVER Told because since other Western Nations have Introduced State Deaths by Euthanazia has “skyrocketed” and in Canada it is now the 3rd Highest cause of WHY Canadians Die and in 2016 there were NONE, not one Person – The following Articles ‘below’ from Around the World will Literally Shock You and question why Western Nations have introduced this Death by Euthanization at the hyper-speed that they have and where the Legislation in the UK has to be STOPPED…and also in other Countries vastly reduced due to post-Political legislation manipulations that has turned the Legislation drafted into LAW to a new killing field of Humanity, as innocent people and young People are Dying unnecessary and where in Canada again over 100,000 have died since State Euthanization of their People has been introduced by Politicians – unfortunately the growth in State Euthanization is now Exponential and growing by the Year with Very Little Checks and balances, as the legislative text drafted into Law is very, very loose to very Easily Manipulate to include people with severe invalidity, mental illness et al …to what it was NOT intended for at the time the draft legislation was created…

A Canadian lawmaker has revealed that hospital staff relentlessly pressured her terminally ill brother to accept government-assisted suicide despite his determination to keep living.
Conservative MP Tamara Jansen recounted her brother Johan’s ordeal during a speech before Canada’s House of Commons.
Johan was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2023 and understood that he was dying.
Nevertheless, he wanted to spend every remaining moment of his life with his family.
“He knew he was dying, but he wanted to live!” Jansen told her fellow lawmakers.
“However, the medical staff at the Abbotsford hospital seemed to want to end his life.
“While lying on a bed in the hallway on the oncology ward, he was asked not once, not twice, not three, four, or five times but six separate times if he wanted MAID.
“They were relentless,” she asserted.
“MAiD” is the Canadian government’s term for “medical assistance in dying,” its rapidly expanding taxpayer-funded euthanasia program.
Jansen said hospital staff continued pressing Johan to accept death by warning that they might not be able to control his pain.
She said the warnings left her brother terrified, but he still refused to surrender.
Hospital Staff ‘Pressed Him’ to Die
Jansen told lawmakers that hospital staff “pressed him” to accept euthanasia, “saying that they did not think they would be able to control his pain, scaring him out of his wits, but he still had a will to live.”
Johan’s refusal gave him another eight to ten months with his loved ones.
During that time, he was able to repair relationships, form friendships at his hospice, and say goodbye to his family.
“I am very proud of my little brother for standing up for his life, for having the courage and the commitment to make a statement that his life was still worth living, even if it was for only another eight or ten months,” Jansen said.
“He had time to mend fences, make friends with the people at the hospice and say goodbye to his family.”
For Jansen, her brother’s experience exposed the danger of allowing medical professionals to repeatedly offer death to frightened and vulnerable patients.
Johan possessed the determination to reject euthanasia six separate times.
Jansen warned that many others will not have the same strength.
Bill Seeks to Block Euthanasia Expansion
Jansen is now fighting to stop Canada from expanding euthanasia to people whose sole underlying condition is mental illness.
She introduced Bill C-218, which passed its first reading on June 20, 2025, and has moved to its second reading.
The legislation would block the planned expansion before it takes effect in 2027.
Jansen previously condemned euthanasia for mental illness as “not healthcare, that’s not compassion, it’s abandonment.”
She told Parliament that her brother’s experience demonstrated why the legislation is urgently needed.
“This is why Bill C-218 is necessary, because not everyone will have the will and the ability to fight the way my brother fought,” Jansen said.
“Not everyone will have the strength to say no six times.”
Jansen argued that the medical system should protect patients facing illness, depression, fear, and despair instead of steering them toward death.
“When someone is sick, frightened, depressed or unable to see any hope for tomorrow, surely the responsibility of our medical system is not to reinforce the despair but to protect them while they are vulnerable and help them find their way back to hope,” she said.
Liberals Fight Bill Protecting Mentally Ill Canadians
Bill C-218 faces opposition from the ruling Liberal Party under Prime Minister Mark Carney, along with most NDP and Bloc Québécois lawmakers.
Liberal MP Kevin Lamoureux opposed the bill during the same day of debate in which Jansen described her brother’s fight to remain alive.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre supports Jansen’s legislation and said “thousands of lives will be saved” if the planned expansion is stopped.
The Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying has also recommended against extending euthanasia to people suffering solely from mental illness.
Nevertheless, the expansion remains scheduled to take effect in 2027 following the passage of Bill C-7.
Canada’s euthanasia regime has already grown to staggering proportions.
Recent government figures show that more Canadians died through euthanasia in 2024 than Americans were murdered with firearms during the same year.
Jansen’s brother refused to become another statistic.
His decision gave him precious months to reconcile with others, form new friendships, and say a final goodbye to those he loved.
Yet his story also exposes the question now confronting Canada: What happens to vulnerable patients who do not have the strength to reject government-sponsored death six times?
