People who were “vaccinated” for Covid with mRNA injections have had decades wiped from their life expectancy, a new peer-reviewed study has revealed.
The bombshell study, published in the renowned Swiss medical journal MDPI, has sent shockwaves through the scientific community.
However, the study has further confirmed warnings from leading experts about the long-term impact of the Covid mRNA shots..
The researchers found that the Covid-vaxxed suffered a “statistically significant” loss of life expectancy after two or more doses.
Following a detailed analysis of the study, the McCullough Foundation confirms that those who received two doses of the shots have lost 37% of their life expectancy.
The Foundation, founded by eminent American cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, reported:
“The subjects vaccinated with two doses lost 37% of life expectancy compared to the unvaccinated population during the follow-up considered.”
Further, the study found so-called “booster” shots are completely “ineffective.”
This is not some “conspiracy theory,” however.
This conclusion is now documented in peer-reviewed literature.
Steve Kirsch, the MIT computer scientist and data expert who founded the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), responded the the explosive study in a new interview.
Kirsch breaks down what this tragic news could mean for young people.

While the results of the study are causing a fresh wave of alarm over Covid mRNA injections, regarding Slay News readers will likely not be so surprised.
As Slay News first reported last year, a separate study found that Covid-vaccinated members of the public have lost an estimated 25 years of their life expectancy.
However, for the previous study, researchers analyzed government data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cleveland Clinic Data, and insurance company risk assessment data.
The analysis uncovered a disturbing trend showing life spans plummeting in those who had multiple doses of the shots.
The latest Cleveland Clinic Data and the latest U.S. data were analyzed by Josh Stirling, founder of Insurance Collaboration to Save Lives and former #1 ranked Insurance Analyst.
Stirling’s study shows an incredibly disturbing trend.
The damage to health caused by each vaccine dose does not lessen over time as it appears to continue indefinitely.
The data shows that every year, excess deaths are soaring dramatically as all forms of mortality accelerate, despite the level of injections people take going down.
Official figures from the World Health Organization’s global database have revealed that Covid mRNA shots triggered a worldwide surge in heart failure and related sudden deaths.
The bombshell data was made public by a team of medical research investigators who were able to unseal and probe the data as part of a major international study.
The research was led by several investigators at Kyung Hee University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea.
The study sought to examine the worldwide burden of vaccine-associated heart failure (pericarditis and myocarditis) and the vaccines associated with these indications.
Pericarditis and myocarditis are both forms of inflammation in the heart that restrict the body’s ability to pump blood.
Both conditions can cause cardiac arrest, strokes, blood clots, and sudden death.
Pericarditis and myocarditis are both known side effects of Covid mRNA injections.
The surge in cases of pericarditis and myocarditis was revealed in data from the United Nations “health” agency WHO.
The researchers were able to unseal information from the database as part of their extensive investigations.
Tapping into and extracting data in the WHO international pharmacovigilance database, the researchers were able to analyze vaccine-associated pericarditis and myocarditis ranging from 1969 to 2023.
The comprehensive study examined a total of 130 million reports.
Calculating global reporting counts, Sooji Lee, Department of Medicine at Kyung Hee University, and colleagues report odds ratios (RORs) as well as information components (ICs).
They sought to identify the cause of surging pericarditis and myocarditis across 156 countries and territories.
The team identified 49 096 reports (male, n = 30 013) of vaccine-associated pericarditis and myocarditis among 73 590 reports of all-cause pericarditis and myocarditis.
Of note, the Korean-led team cites “…a significant increase in reports of vaccine-related cardiac adverse events over time, with a noteworthy surge observed after 2020, attributed to cases of pericarditis associated with COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.”
Based on RORs the authors shared the vaccines with the highest incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis in order:
Overall males and older age groups experienced higher rates of cardiovascular-related conditions.
The authors discovered further age distinction, that individuals between the young ages of 12 and 17 years exhibited significant sex disproportion.
In the aggregate, the majority of adverse events were short in duration reported at a median of one day plus a fatality rate of 0.44%.
The authors state:
“Our analysis of global data revealed an increase in pericarditis and myocarditis reports associated with vaccines, particularly live vaccines like smallpox and anthrax, notably in young males.”
However, next to smallpox, the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines led to the most pericarditis and myocarditis.
An elite team of Japanese scientists has just uncovered a smoking gun after conducting a major study on the autopsies of people who have recently suffered sudden cardiac deaths.
The trio of heavy-hitting physician-scientists running the Shiga University of Medical Science, Department of Legal Medicine in Japan found that Covid mRNA shots were responsible for the deaths of those they examined.
The scientists, led by Associate Professor Mami Nakamura, MD, PhD, analyzed the deaths of 1,513 people who had died after the first or second SARS-CoV-2 vaccination program from February 2021 to February 2022.
The scientists warn that their findings show that the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) failed to adequately explain the causal relationship between these deaths and vaccination, thus “leading to vaccine hesitancy and distrust of the ministry.”
The Japanese team analyzed deaths between May 21 to March 2022 and found that cardiac deaths spiked after people received Pfizer’s mRNA injection.
“A comparison of the deaths reported in association with the different vaccines reveals the rate of death reported after the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is orders of magnitude higher,” they note in the study’s paper.
The authors raise multiple points, including that the lack of detailed analyses by the Japanese MHLF leads to fear, uncertainty doubt, and vaccine hesitancy.
They report this because it appears to show that governments are covering up deaths that may be linked to the vaccines.
However, these highly respected medical professionals demonstrate a high likelihood of direct mRNA vaccine-induced cardiac-related deaths.
Published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Japanese Society of Occupational and Disaster Medicine Vol. 71 No. 6, the trio of respected medical researchers reports on the autopsy results for 15 deaths occurring within one week after receiving the first or second SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in Shiga Prefecture, situated to the east of Kyoto, on the island of Honshu.
The Prefecture has a population of 1.4 million.
Reporting that eleven cases were vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA vaccine (BNT162b2/Comirnaty) and three with the Moderna (mRNA-1273/Spikevax) product, the authors note that one case number’s vaccine brand is not known.
The authors report that four of the cases after studying the autopsies revealed no “morphological changes which were presumed to be sudden cardiac deaths.”
Three cases involved “intracranial hemorrhage and infectious disease.”
Another three cases clearly presented “morphological changes that caused sudden cardiac death.”
Other causes of death included one case of cancer and another one linked to trauma.
Importantly, the Shiga University of Medical Science found that with seven cases, “symptoms of the disease that caused death preceded vaccination.”
And they report with certainty that two of the mortality cases “were basically caused by factors other than vaccination.”
In the case of number 1, “the 60-year-old man who died within 24 hours of his first vaccination,” the scientists found,
“Even though less than a day had elapsed from the time of death to its discovery, the body was highly decomposed.”
Diagnosing the cause of death of this 60-year-old deceased man, the authors find, “The cause of death was diagnosed as non-clostridial gas gangrene.”
This is a rare necrotizing entity often linked with an underlying disease, such as diabetes, and has a high mortality rate.”
Case two is a 48-year-old man who died 4 hours after his first vaccination.
The authors find “characteristic histopathologic findings of arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy were observed at autopsy.”
Among the deaths reported by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, “it is possible that a causal relationship to vaccination can be excluded with adequate investigation, as in these 2 cases,” the scientists note.
“However, the autopsy rate in Japan is quite low.
“Therefore, physicians involved in diagnosing death should rethink the process for death diagnosis and the death investigation system itself.”
The scientists continue by examining sudden cardiac deaths shortly after Covid shots.
The team identifies myocarditis and pericarditis as known complications of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in young males, and thrombosis and thrombocytopenia have also been suggested to have an association with SARS-CoV-2 vaccination.
Although Klein et al. reported that the risk of hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke does not rise within 21 days after vaccination, there have also been reports of hypertension occurring after vaccination.
The highly respected team therefore declares:
“Thus, it is undeniable that intracranial hemorrhages and cardiac sudden deaths are caused by vaccination-induced hypertension.”
The authors disclose in the journal the performance of 17 autopsies, including two persons who died more than one week after vaccination.
The number of autopsies appears to cover a large proportion of the post-vaccination deaths in Shiga Prefecture.
The authors feel confident that they were able to diagnose the 15 cases reported in this study as “adequately diagnosed at autopsy and provide important data for discussing the causal relationship between disease and the vaccines.”
However, “99% of the 1,513 deaths reported by MHLW, the association with SARS-CoV-2 vaccination was deemed ‘un-assessable’ because the diagnosis of the cause of death was considered debatable due to insufficient investigation.
The authors note subpar autopsy and postmortem analysis in Japan.
With only 128 cases (7.02%) and postmortem computed tomography performed in just 22%, they do dismiss a couple of the cases they know were highly likely not to be related to the vaccine.
The problem: “The death investigation system in Japan, with its low autopsy rate and inadequate diagnosis of the cause of death, hinders proper understanding of vaccination.”
Given the public health nature of vaccination, Nakamura, Hitosugi, and Takaso declare that for the “public to properly understand vaccines, it is important to investigate adverse events including any cause of death in people who have recently been vaccinated.”
The authors mean here that these deaths should not be systematically ignored as is the case in America.
The Japanese Society of Legal Medicine issued a statement in July 2022, that autopsy of post-vaccination sudden death is strongly recommended
The study from Japan comes as another team of scientists in Taiwan has just raised the alarm after discovering that Covid mRNA shots are responsible for a shocking “excess death signal” behind the global surge in mortality rates.
As Slay News reported, the peer-reviewed study was published in the prestigious Vaccines Journal and conducted by renowned Taiwanese scientists specializing in clinical pathology, infectious diseases, and tropical medicine.
Their systematic investigation into severe adverse events post-Covid mRNA injection raises significant concerns about the current mass vaccination policy.
Specifically, the team’s discovery of an “excess death signal” has sent shockwaves through the scientific community.
They found that excess deaths surged after the vaccines were rolled out to the public and not before, suggesting the injections were far more dangerous than the virus they were supposed to protect against.
A secret report has emerged from the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that exposes the shocking impact of Covid mRNA injections on American children and young adults.
The bombshell report shows that a staggering half a million American children and young adults have been killed by Covid shots.
The CDC report has revealed that almost 500,000 Americans aged between 0 and 44 years old died from the dangerous side effects of the Covid mRNA injections.
The recorded deaths occurred between the start of the public rollout of the shots in early 2021 and October 9, 2022.
However, due to the timeline of the data, the already shocking figures do not include deaths recorded over the past year and a half.
Shockingly, the explosive revelations from the report have been completely ignored by the corporate media – the same outlets that told the public the vaccines were “safe and effective.”
Compared to other countries, the U.S. Government has been slow to publish relevant and up-to-date data to allow the public to analyze the consequences of rolling out the Covid injections.
Figures provided to the OEC by the CDC show excess deaths among children and young adults aged 0-44 across the USA by week in 2020 and 2021.
The official figures reveal that there was a slight increase in excess deaths among children and young adults when the Covid pandemic hit the US in early 2020.
With the introduction of Covid mRNA shots, and the promise from health officials about the “safe and effective” vaccines’ claimed impact, one would have expected deaths to have fallen significantly among the age group in 2021.
Instead, however, the opposite happened.
Excess deaths among children and young adults skyrocketed every single week in 2021.
Throughout 2021, excess deaths were far higher than they were in 2020 except for weeks 29 and 30.
Unfortunately, official figures provided by the CDC show that the trend continued through 2022.
The most recent data released by the CDC covers up to week 40 of 2022, the week ending October 9.
The CDC has confirmed that there have been 7,680 more excess deaths among children and young adults in 2022 so far than there were during the same time frame in 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic, according to a report from the Exposé.
The year 2021, was by and far the worst, however, with 27,227 more excess deaths by week 40 following the roll-out of the Covid-19 injection than what occurred in 2020 at the height of the alleged Covid-19 pandemic.
The official CDC figures show all deaths and excess deaths among children and young adults across the United States prior to the rollout of the Covid vaccines and after.
The figures reveal that the first 9 months of 2022 saw only 1,352 fewer excess deaths among 0-44-year-olds than the whole of 2020 – the supposed peak of the pandemic.
But the most concerning figures revealed are the overall number of deaths and excess deaths among children and young adults since the rollout of the Covid injections.
Nearly half a million Americans aged 0 to 44 have died after receiving the Covid shots, which were supposed to “protect” them from the virus.
This report from the CDC comes after recent reporting from Slay News regarding the shocking leaked documents from the UK government’s efforts to promote the vaccines through fear tactics.
The explosive leaked docs show medical staff were ordered to euthanize patients who had been admitted to hospital and tested positive for COVID-19.
The official documents were leaked from the UK’s state-funded National Health Service (NHS).
The docs further confirm the previous reporting from Slay News that revealed patients were euthanized in order to boost the numbers for “Covid deaths.”
As Slay News reported, smoking gun evidence revealed that tens of thousands of elderly people were murdered to boost the mortality rates.
The data produced for the report indicated that people were being euthanized using a fatal injection of Midazolam.
The cause of their deaths was then listed as “Covid,” indicating that the virus was killing far more elderly people than it was.
The explosive data from the report was made public by Australian politician Craig Kelly, the national director of the United Australia Party.
The report obtained official UK government data on death rates and causes.
According to Kelly, the patients were euthanized in order to boost “Covid deaths” and ramp up public fear to garner support for lockdowns and vaccines.
While alerting the public about the data, Kelly declared that it exposes “the crime of the century.”
“These deaths were then falsely blamed on Covid, which was the basis of the public fear campaigns used to justify the lockdowns and mass-mandated injections of the public (including children) with an experimental medical intervention that had zero long-term safety data,” Kelly said in a post on X alongside copies of the data.
“Along the way, a small group pushing the need for mass-mandated injections made billions.
“This paper shows that the UK spike in deaths, wrongly attributed to COVID-19 in April 2020, was not due to SARS-CoV-2 virus, which was largely absent, but was due to the widespread use of Midazolam injections which were statistically very highly correlated (coefficient over 90 percent) with excess deaths in all regions of England during 2020.
“The widespread and persistent use of Midazolam in UK suggests a possible policy of systemic euthanasia.”

Official government data has emerged that shows that a staggering number of pregnant women suffered miscarriages and other reproductive ailments after they received a Covid mRNA shot.
Two sets of data have revealed that both the Canadian and U.S. governments were aware of the harm caused to pregnant women but kept the information hidden from the public while pushing the “safe and effective” narrative.
A Canadian government database was exposed in a new report showing an explosion of horrific side effects among expectant mothers who received the mRNA injections.
In Canada, governments and businesses widely mandated the Covid mRNA shots during the pandemic.
“It is past time for the Canadian medical and government establishment, along with mainstream medical professionals and legacy media, to stop gaslighting suffering patients,” explains a report from Dr. Naomi Wolf and Amy Kelly of the Daily Clout.
“It is time for them to explore the dramatic evidence of the relationship between Covid vaccination rollout and the reproductive damage that tens of if not thousands of patients suffered.”
According to the database, the average number of patients assigned the following reproduction-related diagnostic codes increased, on average, in every category for 2021 to 2022 over 2015 to 2019, the report notes.
“This means that Canadian medical professionals found more Ontarians suffering from the following conditions after over eighty-five percent of the population had taken COVID vaccines.”
The report reveals that “Infertility in both men and women” has soared dramatically.
The data also shows low sperm count and absence of sperm in semen in Covid-vaxxed men.
“Inflamed fallopian tubes and ovaries,” as well as pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to ectopic pregnancy, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and other related complications were also recorded.
“Menopausal and post-menopausal bleeding” as well as “disorders of menstruation,” were found in large numbers of women, the report notes,
“Miscarriages including missed abortions, incomplete abortions, and complete abortions,” the data shows.
The statistics were revealed in the Ontario Health Insurance Plan’s database.
“This dataset includes about six million unique patients,” Wolf and Kelly explain.
“Importantly, it contains four years of ‘baseline’ data from before COVID-19 or COVID-19 vaccines appeared in Canada, as well as data from 2020, when only COVID-19 – the disease – was present, and the ‘COVID vaccine years’ of 2021 and 2022.
“This gives us a window into the health changes Ontarians experienced following the introduction Covid vaccines, of which over eighty-five percent of Ontario residents took two doses by March 30, 2022.
“About fifty percent of people in Ontario received a third ‘booster’ dose by that same date.
“Therefore, the data reflects a very highly vaccinated population and the fallout from those vaccinations,” the report said.
Among the details from the government evidence was that “male infertility, oligospermia, azoospermia” cases rose from 24,608 during the pre-Covid years to 32,696 after.
Cases of acute or chronic salpingitis, oophoritis or abscess, and pelvic inflammatory disease rose from 6,966 to 7,506.
Menstruation disorders rose from 408,717 to 418,713.
“Menopause, post-menopausal bleeding” cases surged from 171,666 to 193,871, and “infertility” was up from 94,039 to 112,450.
“Other disorders of female genital organs” rose from 93,619 to 113,621.
The “missed abortions” rose from 13,323 to 15,215.
The report asserts that the evidence “reveals a clear increase in diseases and disorders of human reproduction temporally following the deployment on the majority of a population of a novel and not yet completely tested medical intervention.
“A government database consisting of millions of Canadian citizens now corroborates claims and warnings — e.g., women reporting significant menstrual changes post-Covid vaccination in 2021 and 2022 — that until now many have dismissed as ‘anecdotal.’”
It wasn’t only the Canadian government that was aware of the issue, however.
U.S. federal agencies were also aware of the dangers that the Covid injections posed to pregnant women since shortly after the shots were rolled out for public use in early 2021.
During a panel discussion at the Wellness Company’s Spike Symposium, Dr. Wolf joined several leading experts to break down clinical trial data that pharmaceutical companies were fighting to keep hidden from the public.
Pfizer had desperately attempted to cover up the adverse effects of its experimental Covid mRNA vaccines on fertility and newborns.
“There’s a section in the Pfizer documents where there’s an 80% miscarriage rate of the women whom they’re following to term,” Wolf said.
“And they happen to lose 236 out of the 270 records of the pregnant women that they have.
“But the ones that they keep, 80% lose their babies.”
She went on to describe the batch of Pfizer clinical trial documents known as Report 69 which detail how Pfizer and the FDA knew by early 2021 that Pfizer’s mRNA COVID vaccine, BNT162b2, resulted in horrible damage to fetuses and babies.
“It shows that Pfizer knew that babies in utero were being exposed to the vaccine,” she said.
“In their words, the babies were dying through ‘transplacental exposure.’
“But they knew that and they knew that they were poisoning breastmilk and that the lipid nanoparticles, the mRNA, and presumably the spike [protein] was making it into the breastmilk and causing convulsions and deaths.”
Meanwhile, experts have been raising the alarm over a warning about the mRNA injections from a leading scientist.
As Slay News reported, Professor Dr. Dolores Cahill, a world-renowned immunology expert, issued an explosive warning to the public that everyone who has been vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots “will die within 3 to 5 years, even if they have had only one injection.”
Prof. Cahill has over 25 years of expertise in high-throughput protein array, antibody array, proteomics technology development, and automation.
Since the Covid mRNA shots were rolled out in early 2021, Cahill has been sounding the alarm about the devastating impact they will have on public health.
Not only does Cahill think the shots are dangerous, but she warns that they will eventually kill everybody who has received one or more doses.
During an interview, Cahill explains how mRNA in the injections harms all recipients and acts like a ticking time bomb in the Covid-vaccinated.

A new study published today in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology reported that the majority of a set of nearly 100 urine samples collected from people in different states over the last few years showed the presence of a pesticide called chlormequat, which is used in agriculture.
Notably, the study found that both frequency of detection and concentrations of the chemical were starkly higher in 2023 than in samples collected from prior years.
“While the sample size is small and more research will be needed to verify the extent of the problem, it is very concerning to see chlormequat chloride showing up in these samples, and at increasing levels,” said Danielle Melgar, a specialist in food and agriculture advocacy work with the Public Interest Research Group.
“It means that consumers are clearly being exposed to it,” Melgar said.
“If it wasn’t linked to health concerns, that might not be an issue, but independent research has established connections to fetal and reproductive health harms in animal studies.”
Chlormequat is used to regulate the size of plants by blocking certain hormones.
Though primarily used on ornamental plants in the U.S., it is allowed on imported foods from other countries, including Canada and Europe where chlormequat is approved for use on wheat, oats, and barley.
Last year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed that farmers in this country also be allowed to apply it to their food crops. By regulating the growth of crops such as wheat, yields can be improved, farmers have found.
But animal studies show chlormequat exposure can disrupt embryonic growth and contribute to other health problems.
Environmental and health advocates cite those studies in strongly opposing any expansion of use. Last year, PIRG sent a petition to the EPA, arguing that “a slightly bigger harvest isn’t worth the risk to our health.”
Concentrations climb
The authors of the study include three researchers from the Environmental Working Group (EWG), along with a biomedical researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The research team analyzed 96 urine samples collected by laboratories in Missouri, Florida, and South Carolina over a time period ranging from 2017 to 2023.
Approximately 69% of the 2017 samples showed the presence of chlormequat, climbing to 74% for the 2018-2022 period and hitting 90% for the 2023 samples.
The concentrations also were “significantly higher” in 2023 samples than in samples from the prior years, the study found.
Separately, the research team also looked at the frequency of detection of chlormequat in oat and wheat-based products purchased in U.S. stores in 2022 and 2023. They found chlormequat in 23 of 25 conventionally grown oat products and one of the eight organic oat products sampled.
The researchers also reported finding low concentrations of chlormequat in two of nine wheat-based products.
The new research adds to a smaller sampling of products that last year led EWG to report finding chlormequat in all but one of 13 non-organic oat-based cereals, granola, and other product tests conducted by an independent laboratory.
Because pesticides such as chlormequat are generally flushed from the body fairly rapidly, finding such a high prevalence indicates routine and continuous exposure.
“Additionally, trends in these data suggest that exposure levels have increased and might continue to increase in the future,” the study states.
‘Widespread exposure’
The study notes that recent reproductive toxicity studies in rats have shown reduced sperm motility and decreased weights of male reproductive organs among other issues.
Given the results of the animal studies and the “widespread exposure” of people to chlormequat, monitoring and more studies on chlormequat impacts are “urgently needed to understand the potential health harms … particularly during pregnancy,” the study concludes.
The EPA only started formally allowing chlormequat on food products entering the U.S. a few years ago, and in 2020 raised the level of residues of the chemical considered permissible on food.
“This is a really unique opportunity where we’ve identified this emerging chemical that really was only introduced into the U.S. food supply within the last five years,” said EWG toxicologist Alexis Temkin, who is one of the authors of the study.
“So we have this ability to be at the forefront of tracking what human exposure looks like.”
Given the health problems associated with chlormequat in animal studies, there is a real risk of potential human health effects that the EPA is not accounting for, according to Temkin.
“It’s something we think is worth studying a lot more,” she said.

Democrat President Joe Biden is now edging closer to setting a record for his efforts to expand America’s bureaucratic state.
The total number of government employees in the U.S. is now close to a new record, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Biden’s historic expansion is only being outdone by one other month in the country’s history.
The U.S. added 49,000 government jobs in November.
32,000 of those jobs were local and 17,000 of those were federal.
The increase brings the total number of government employees to 22,967,000, according to the BLS.

In May 2010, former President Barack Obama oversaw 22,996,000 people being employed by the government.
This record was set as a result of temporary hiring used to perform the census that year, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED).
The increase in government employment follows consistent growth in the sector, with the government adding 65,000 and 63,000 employees in October and September, respectively, according to the BLS.
If the trend continues into December, the number will exceed 23 million, a record high.
Government hiring typically increases substantially in the months around census collection, which occurs in the U.S. in years that end with a zero, with the Census Bureau hiring thousands of temporary workers, peaking in May, to fulfill collection obligations, according to the Census Bureau.

The expected increase in government hiring for the 2020 census never came to fruition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic halted hiring efforts in February of that year, stopping at 22,871,000 government positions, according to FRED.
Total government employment declined following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, dropping rapidly to 21,396,000 positions by May 2020, but steadily rising ever since to its current position.
The U.S. added 199,000 jobs in November, boosted by around 47,000 employees returning to work after the conclusion of strikes from the United Auto Workers and the actors’ union SAG-AFTRA.
The number of jobs added by the government for the month was exceeded only by gains in the healthcare sector, which added 77,000 in November.

A federal judge has ruled that then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi violated the Constitution when she led the House of Representatives in passing a controversial $1.7 trillion spending bill in 2022.
U.S. District Court Judge James Wesley Hendrix ruled that Pelosi violated the Constitution by allowing members to vote without actually being at the Capitol for the session.
The session at which the budget was adopted took place on December 23, 2022, according to Reuters.
At the time of the budget’s passing, CNBC referred to the action as “the final major achievement” of Pelosi’s term as speaker of the House.
At the time the budget was almost three months late.
Budgets are theoretically supposed to be in place by the October 1 start of the federal fiscal year.
However, they are rarely adopted on time.
This year, Congress has not yet approved a full budget almost five months into the federal fiscal year, for example.
Judge Hendrix, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, said he did not block the entire budget, which ran through Sept. 30, 2023.
Texas wanted to ultimately block two provisions but lost on one.
Hendrix ruled Texas did not have standing to attack $20 million in the budget that funded services to illegal immigrants while they were undergoing immigration removal proceedings.
The judge agreed to the state’s request to block the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act from being enforced against Texas.
The bill was designed to give pregnant workers what it called reasonable accommodation.
As part of his ruling, Hendrix said the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission could not enforce the law against the state government of Texas.
“Congress acted egregiously by passing the largest spending bill in U.S. history with fewer than half the members of the House bothering to do their jobs, show up, and vote in person,” state Attorney General Ken Paxton said.
According to a news release from Paxton’s office, the Texas AG had “secured a major victory in defense of the United States Constitution.”
“Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi abused proxy voting under the pretext of COVID-19 to pass this law, then Biden signed it, knowing they violated the Constitution,” Paxton said.
“This was a stunning violation of the rule of law. I am relieved the Court upheld the Constitution.”
Proxy voting was a pandemic-era rule that was abolished in January 2023 when Republicans took control of the House.
In his 120-page opinion, Hendrix excoriated the proxy voting system.
“For over 235 years, Congress understood the Constitution’s Quorum Clause to require a majority of members of the House or Senate to be physically present to constitute the necessary quorum to pass legislation,” he wrote.
“This rule prevents a minority of members from passing legislation that affects the entire nation,” he wrote.
“But despite the Constitution’s text and centuries of consistent practice, the House in 2020 created a rule that permitted non-present members to be included in the quorum count and vote by proxy,” he wrote.
“Pursuant to that novel rule, the House passed a new law included within the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, and that particular provision affects Texas.”
“Like many constitutional challenges, Texas asserts that this provision is unenforceable against it because Congress violated the Constitution in passing the law. …
“The Court concludes that, by including members who were indisputably absent in the quorum count, the Act at issue passed in violation of the Constitution’s Quorum Clause.”
“Based on the Quorum Clause’s text, original public meaning, and historical practice, the Court concludes that the Quorum Clause bars the creation of a quorum by including non-present members participating by proxy,” he continued.
“Supreme Court precedent has long held that the Quorum Clause requires presence, and the Clause’s text distinguishes those absent members from the quorum and provides a mechanism for obtaining a physical quorum by compelling absent members to attend,” he wrote.

No matter how big the federal budget is, the amount being spent always seems to be less than the government claims it needs but exponentially more than it can actually afford. Which means it’s exponentially more than we, the taxpayers, can afford. But at least that money is being spent on important things. Things we need. Things that improve our quality of life. Things like… snipping cat brain stems and making them walk on treadmills.
Man, I can already feel my quality of life improving!
No matter how much of my money the government takes from me, no matter how much companies have to raise their prices to make up for the money the government takes from them, I never get angry. I never get angry because I know that these are necessary sacrifices for the common good of my fellow Americans. I mean, how else is the government supposed to fund a study to measure how hot dog buttholes after a summertime walk?
